Let’s get right into it. Okay. All right. Okay. So, to you guys, man, um I got the chat on on my phone for some reason. There’s like a little YouTube glitch. I got the chat going on on my phone because I can’t see it from my console. But nevertheless, we adjust, man. Salute to you guys. Hope everybody’s feeling well. Stephen Gomez, Louisiana Nicks in the chat. I see you. Shout out to uh just call me Dam. How you feeling? Uh, Chef Burgess, Jay Burgess in the chat. TM, I see you. Salute to you. Lash, shout out to Leon Paul in the chat, man. Brendan Cody, how you feeling? And, uh, new growth Zeus, see you guys. All right, man. What we think about today’s presser with Mike Brown. What we think, man? We got the next chick in the background. You know, she’s cooking and uh damn near killing the chicken. just she’s hunting in the background as you know it’s a little just a little of background noise a little ambient noise if you will. So JD says where’s the trophy? No I I didn’t I didn’t bring the trophy with me on the road but yeah you know Brandon said somebody in the background getting it in. Yeah. Well well you know dinner’s going to be good tonight in case you guys wonder. But anyway, yeah, man. You know, there’s a lot of chatter about this Knicks Twitter day. We’re we’re already in Tuesday, Sunday, Monday, three days since since Nicks Fan TV hoisted the inaugural trophy. And there’s a lot of trash talk. There’s a lot of, you know, guys are in the gym right now getting ready for next year. I mean, boy oh boy, that is the pressure of Nicks Van TV. You got, you know, skirmishes going on, inter squads, beefs. We we might have some defections going on. See, guys are calling me up like, “Yo, you know, do you have space on your roster? Let me know. Can I join the weight list?” So, it’s that type of situation. That’s the pressure that Nicks Fan TV put on these guys and hoisting the inaugural trophy. We were a well coached team. There’s video still going out there. The execution, man. Al’s video just came out. Al’s highlight reel. We saw some stuff from JD. You saw some stuff from yours, Julie. We battled out there, man. So yeah, there’s a lot of fallout from the tournament, but we just have to bring it home. What do you want me to do? I’m just a conductor here. We I just put the team together according to the rules and we executed. I just digressed a little bit. But anyway, on the Mike Brown stuff, you know, press conferences are press conferences, especially here in New York. you you’re going to get prepared responses, more cookie cutter responses. And I also think just in terms of the situation that the Knicks are in right now, it’s different. We know the goal. We know what’s needed. The squad is 99% finished. So, it’s not like, you know, a rebuilding team where it’s like, “Okay, what’s the philosophy? What do you want to do with the team?” And stuff like that. We We know what’s at stake here. We need a chip. period. But anyway, I thought there were a couple of cool sound bites, a couple of interesting takeaways from this one that I’ll play and that that we will react to as a as a family here. Okay. All right. So, I’m playing the um the MSG feed. This was the MSG feed. First off, this was this was Wally Serbiaak’s take on the the hiring of Mike Brown. Remember Wally Serbiaak played for under Mike Brown when he was in Cleveland. So this was Wallally’s take on the addition of Mike Brown. Here’s Wally mind. Uh that’s the big thing that I remember the organ. We are the best defensive team defensive field goal percentage back in 0809. Just very clear with his rotations. Just very very concise and delivers his message very well. That’s his backbone defense. That’s what he’s known for. I think as he’s moved on, coached under Steve Kerr, he really expanded his offensive uh playbook. Um learned a lot about the offensive end of the floor. We’re also a great offensive team. So, he’s has no weaknesses. All right, let us now listen in. All right, Wally with the extra hype. He said he has no weaknesses. I thought that was funny. But you know, one of the things he said is his attention to detail, a defensive mind. Sounds like someone we used to know. But in in this regard, Mike Brown did come in with a a defensive reputation. And it seems like working under Pop with the Spurs, working under Steve Kerr with the Warriors, and then bringing that experience to the Sacramento Kings. He became known as more of an offensive focused coach. You know, the Sacramento Kings with the number one offense in the NBA when Mike Brown won the coach of the year award just a few weeks, just a few years ago. So, seems like a guy that has evolved and I’m sure uh his coaching staff had a lot to do with the system that they played. So, that was Wally Serviaak’s remarks on Mike Brown. Okay. Now, here was Mike Brown’s opening statement here when he met with the media. Here we go. To Mike Brown, new head coach. Thank everybody for coming. Uh first of all, I’d like to start by thanking uh Leon uh Mr. Dolan, Leon Rose for this incredible opportunity. I’d also like to acknowledge uh my fiance Ro for her continued support and for for being here. I look forward to working with Leon, forming a great partnership with our shared common goal of winning a championship. I’m honored and excited to be the new head coach of the New York Knicks. You talk about a historic franchise, Madison Square Garden. It’s iconic. our fans. They’re the most knowledgeable and passionate probably in all of sports. There’s a lot of work to be done. We have a outstanding roster. What they did in the playoffs shows their potential. I’ve had great conversations with all of our players and I’m looking forward to growing positive strong relationships with all of them over time. Our goal starting with Mr. Dolan to Leon to the players all the way down to the fans is to build a sustainable that sustainable winning culture that produces championships. That’s why I’m here. I’m fortunate to know what it takes to create that success, a lot of hard work, a high level of commitment, and a focus on today. Now, a lot of you guys gonna say this sounds cliche, and it is, but we can’t we can’t skip any steps. It’s about one day, one practice, one shoot around at a time. The soul of our identity with when it comes to culture, it’s going to be based on a trust. A trust that’s centered around sacrifice, a connectivity, a competitive spirit, and an overall belief in the process and each other. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all, but there’s a lot of work to do and I’m ready to get started. And now we’re going to open up. All right. So, that that was his opening remarks. People said he got Obama cadence. I I thought it was good. It was it was measured. He took his time. He wasn’t humming and hawing. I thought it was good. I I thought I thought he set the tone very well. But as you said, you know, the cliche stuff, Tib said the same thing. We don’t want to skip steps. We want to build trust, come together, things of that nature. But for me, Flash Flood says, “Please watch the video in 2x speed.” Yeah, we might have to speed this up a little. But but anyway, for me, I thought one of the common tones in this thing was he kept mentioning, “I want to work with Leon. I want to collaborate. I want to partner with Leon.” Remember that was one of the things that I was talking about in terms of the Knicks search for their head coach. They wanted somebody who was willing to work with the front office, be more malleable. Doesn’t mean that they want to run the show, but they want someone who’s going to be open to suggestions, open to opinions, taking the advice of other coaches, advice from the medical staff and making decisions as a unit. There was some there was some butting of heads there with Tibs when he was here in that regard. So, it seems that Leon made that a point of emphasis in their discussions, probably Dolan as well. And Mike Brown is is it’s reflected in Mike Brown’s opening segment here and many times in this press conference. Okay, we’ll we’ll keep it going. This one was Mike Brown on the style of play. Good question. I I believe I don’t I don’t know who asked this question. Let Let me see. This was uh Brown’s style of play. Here we go. Questions. Coach, just your your style of play that you want to play and just was it kind of jams and kind of running your team? I The first thing is, you know, everybody knows I like to play fast and like I said, we have an outstanding roster. Um, I’m excited about that. And to have a guy like Jaylen out there gives you the versatility to play all different types of ways, which is what it’s going to take throughout a course of a ball game. All right. Hey, music to my ears, man. You guys been hearing me say this a lot over the course of of last season. I’d like to see the Knicks play faster as well. They were 26th in pace this year. I feel like with the personnel that the Knicks have, there’s a lot of guys who can benefit from playing with more pace. How many times did we talk about the ball just sticking a little bit too much in in Cap’s hands, especially in the playoffs where, you know, you you’re going up against more grittier defenses. They’re wearing you down. Before you know it, it’s 11 seconds on the shot clock and and and you’re you’re hurried into doing something that you just it just doesn’t come off as clean. There are a lot of guys to me who can benefit from the Knicks playing faster. Mal Bridges, Josh Hart, I think OG, Deuce, it’s a lot of guys who can who can benefit from the Knicks playing faster as opposed to being a grind in the half court. Now, the pace was heightened with Mike Brown in Sacramento. Yes, a lot of that was personnel with him having Swiper, the Aaron Fox, one of the fastest guards in the entire NBA. So, it’s understandable personnel will certainly matter. But, I do think with some of the concepts that he was running in Sacramento, some of the Princeton offense concepts, some some of the UCLA actions, just making quicker decisions and quicker pace, even if you’re in half court settings, I think will do the both the Knicks very well. do very well for the Knicks in terms of their offensive flow. So, that was good. I like to hear that from Mike Brown. Playing faster, Andre Bryant. Playing faster means you got to play smarter. Absolutely. Got to make good decisions. I agree with you 100%. Okay. So, that was Mike Brown on the style of play. Now, the next question was in regards to, hey, the expectations, championship expectations, and this is what Mike Brown um his response uh to the heightened expectations and the pressure here. Here we go. Than I do. I mean, the expectations you’re stepping into. Well, you know, there there’s nobody has any bigger expectations, first of all, than I do. Uh I mean, my expectations are high. Um, but I mean this is the mix. I talked about Madison Square Garden be being iconic. I talked about our fans. I I love and embrace the expectations that come along with it. So, I’m looking forward to it. Yeah, quick answer there, but again, hey, this is going to be a pressure cooker for this coach and for a guy like Mike Brown. He has the experience to be able to handle it. He’s been to six NBA finals, as he said. He’s been NBA coach of the year twice, coaching superstars LeBron, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant. So, he gets it. I I I think he he’ll be able to handle it here. Now, the team will just have to go out there, execute, win games, and win a championship, and and then he can keep his job. So, so yeah, that was Mike Brown on the expectations. What do you guys think about that response there? Okay, this was a good question and it was about his vision in terms of bas based on his experience. What is his vision in terms of uh good basketball? What what does good basketball mean to him? Here we go. Basketball, how do you define that? What what is your vision of good basketball? That was Steph. This is Steph Bondi from the New York Post. Well, it’s a a twofold question. Uh, you know, I what I’ve experienced and I said it in my opening statement. You know, I’ I’ve been to six finals with three different teams and the commonality that they all had is they all sacrifice for one another. They’re all connected. the connectivity it’s at the highest and it starts with ownership on down. Uh they all have a competitive spirit and there’s a high level of belief not just in the process but each other. So those four things are common amongst all the teams that I’ve been with that have participated in the finals. All right. So you heard it. competitive spirit, collaboration, buying into the system, all that good stuff. That’s what Mike Brown sees in terms of his vision of what constitutes good basketball. Um, some people in the in the chat, shout out to to Bobby Maretta, some people ask, you know, he he’s asking how does he explain all the times he’s been fired recently and why? No, he didn’t really get into that. Those were some of the questions that he he tried to shy away from. You’re not really going to get those type of responses. I didn’t expect to hear him explain what happened in Sacramento or explain his side. I you’re not really going to hear things like that. You know, we still got to do that episode with James Han, the beat rider from Sacramento. I we haven’t been able to uh connect on a time to talk about what happened there in Sacramento, but we’re going to do that. We’re going to do some research and try to get an understanding of of what happened there. But yeah, I I didn’t expect that. And then, you know, he was asked about Tibs and and comparing himself to Tibs. I thought he handled that very well. Like, you’re not gonna expect to say, “Well, you know, he didn’t do this or, you know, I’m going to do this.” He took the high road. He said, “I know Tibs. He’s a good coach. I’m going to do things my way.” Pretty much. So, again, some some of the things that that uh you can expect. This was James Edwards question to Mike Brown in terms of what he did to sell himself to Leon James Dolan and the team. Here we go. James Edwards. A pleasure. Obviously, when you’re going into a job search, you want to sell yourself to the team. When you go into those, what do you want to hear from the team in terms of what they want to do to help enhance you and set you up for success, too? The first thing, the only person I really had to sell myself to was was Ro. And obviously it worked. That’s why she’s sitting right there. But uh you know, I respect Leon’s process. Um I feel like I’m a detailed guy. I feel like I’m thorough with anything and everything that I try to do. Um so it’s no different here. Uh, I’m just I was just myself throughout the process. Had great conversations uh with Mr. Dolan, obviously with Leon and his group because, you know, my whole thing is I want to form a partnership with him to do this together. It’s impossible. Gee, there goes that partnership partnership talk again. Possible to do on your own. And obviously, the outcome is exciting for me because I’m sitting in the seat that I wanted to be in. How are you Chris from ESPN? Yeah, that was that, you know, wants to form that partnership with Leon, but he talked about just being himself, selling himself to uh to James Dolan and to Leon Rose, respecting the process. Okay. Uh what else do we have here from Mike Brown? H this was a good question. You know, in the whole lens of him being fired, you know, coaches get recycled in this league. He’s been fired multiple times by multiple teams. So the question that was asked was why do this again knowing that hey this is a cold blooded business when you win everything is cool but when you’re not you’re shown the door and he got shown the door pretty quickly in Sacramento and that was after them being a number two seed in the west winning the coach of the year award number one offense. I mean, the first time being in the playoff, light the beam, all of that. Next thing you know, he he’s he’s you know, he’s lighting up the unemployment line. It changes that fast. So, here here was his his response to the question of why do this again? Surprised people today. The team had done very well. The guy had a great run there. Took them to places they hadn’t gone in a long time. Um, is it getting harder as a coach to sort of understand what the organization wants or why do you want to keep doing this? jump right back in and keep going as a coach. I I mean, I’m passionate about coaching. Uh I I want to win and um you know, you want to be in a a great place uh that has like thinking and so I know for me, especially speaking with Mr. Dolan. Uh, speaking with Leon and I have a history with Lyon, knowing who he is as a person, knowing that I’d love to partner with him and then looking at the roster and the reality of it is, uh, Rose said, “We better move to New York cuz I’m a foodie.” So, so when you when you combine all those things, uh, it was a no-brainer for me. You know, the league is the league and uh there’s always going to be es and flows in terms of how the hiring and firing process goes and you just embrace it and you keep moving forward. Yeah. I mean, look, man, how if if you if you have a passion for coaching, how can you pass it up? You’re getting paid $10 million every shot you’re in New York. You know, if you’re getting fired, you’re getting everything guaranteed. Axe Tibs, he’s he’s probably in, you know, Bora Bora somewhere sitting under $30 million watching film. So if you’re a basketball lifer like these guys, to be a coach, you got to be a basketball lifer if you’re a lifer. Of course, you’re going to take the opportunity when it comes. Some guys don’t get that chance. Again, where’s Jeff? Where’s guys like Jeff Horn at? Where’s Derek Fischer? Some some guys it’s one shot and done. Where’s Darvin Ham? So, you know, to have a career in coaching, to keep getting those chances, and look, and look, he’s got a 454 and 304 record as an NBA head coach. He’s he’s he wins a lot of games. When that money jet life, when that money hit the bank account, hey, I’ll do the job. I’ll do the job. So, look, there’s there’s been a lot of there’s a lot of retreads in the NBA. I I give the Rick Carlile example. Pistons, he’s not the guy. Larry Brown comes in, he wins the championship. Larry Brown comes to New York, he’s the worst head coach in franchise history. Carile goes to the Mavericks, wins a chip. He’s the best. Goes to the Pacers, brings him to the finals. He’s the greatest. He’s one of the greatest of all time. Personnel matters. Like the coach is not playing. I always talk about coaches coach, players play. It has to be the right mix. got to be the right mix. JJ says, “Do we have the roster to play fast?” Personnel will matter. But again, I I I don’t necessarily think it and and I’m going to get to his response in that re in kind of in that lens. I don’t necessarily think it means having to just be up and down, up and down the court all the time because if you don’t have the personnel to do that, you’re going to get burnt out. But I do think what I mean playing fast make quicker decisions. We don’t have to hold the ball in the half court and bleed the shot clock. Quicker decisions, quicker shots. If blockchess is out there, we get more possessions, get the offensive rebounds, cutting off ball, gets your dribble handoffs. Like quicker decisions doesn’t necessarily mean break neck speed. So I think they can there can be a balance based on the personnel that we have. Now, I would love to get more athletes in here. Of course, they need to get more athletic, but with what we have right now, it’s good enough if the system fits. They’re executing. They’re moving the ball and generating more good looks that way. Junior says, “Fistell is the worst coach in franchise history.” Yeah, sure. You you can you can make the case. I’ll give you that. I won’t argue. But I mean, you know, think about that the again the expectations, right? Who could argue when Dolan hired Larry Brown to come here with all the dysfunction that we had, right? I’d love to look up, you know, YouTube. I don’t know if YouTube was even around back then like that, but I would love to go back in history and read the opinions in the papers or the sports talk radio and Larry Brown. I don’t remember from what I, you know, back in my day, I don’t remember it being viewed as a negative light. It was like, oh yo, this championship coach, he’s going to have the Knicks playing defense. It was anything but that. So, so it’s that’s why a lot of times when people ask me like, “What do you think about this?” I’m like, “Man, I’ll let you know in April, real talk.” Because given the expectations with this team, like we got to get through the growing pains. We got to get these guys used to the system, get through the growing pains of the system, make sure they get to the playoffs healthy, then we’ll see if Mike Brown was worth it. I don’t think there’s anyone out there that can truly judge this as a success or a step back from Tibs. I don’t I don’t see how you can. We got to see. bootser one with one with uh the Bucks and was a colossal failure with the Phoenix Suns. Every player hated him. He got beef with KD. He had beef with Book. Beef beef with Beal. He’s with the Bucks. And he’s the greatest thing ever. So So there’s so many variables in this thing, man. So many variables, which is why I can’t see how you can make an objective opinion on this until the games are played. Anthony Howard, welcome to the franchise channel memberships. Welcome to the family, Anthony H. Howard. Salute to Anthony Howard. Everybody, welcome him in the chat. He just joined the franchise channel memberships. Um, I did see someone drop a super chat. Like I said, for some reason, I can’t see the super chats from my uh desktop, from my laptop, and I can’t see it from my phone. So, whoever did leave a super chat, I see James Carter. I’m just scrolling up in the uh on the phone here. James Carter, appreciate you and appreciate everybody for submitting a super chat. Okay, I think I had a couple more from this Brown joint here. Oh, yeah. This this was the last one. And when we talk about do we have the personnel to play fast and all of that, this was the last question um from Mike Brown. Here we go. And so to have the versatility uh Mitchell’s vertical. Oh, this was this was Ian Begley’s question on um Towns and Mitch on the Twin Towers. Once once I get my staff together and we dive more into it. Uh we’ll figure out uh you know all those types of things. I’m I’m excited uh that they’re both on the team obviously because they’re two different players. You know, uh Mitchell is a vertical threat. Cat, as you know, is a space threat and so to have the versatility that those two guys bring to the table uh is going to be a lot of fun. So, I didn’t really answer much on it. He didn’t really give you a uh response to it. Yeah, you can see the chat from yours. I just can’t see it from mine. Uh no, it’s all right. It’s all right. I’m almost done. Um so, look, he he there there is a lot to like with their versatility as he said. I’m sure we will see cat at the five and I’m sure we will see the double bigs. We have We should We need defense. We got to be able to win with defense. And we can match up with certain teams, the Cavs. We can match up with the Cavs with double bigs. Now, certain teams we we might get sped up a little bit or or or they might use their their smaller size and their speed against us and then you adjust that way. But I think we will see those two guys together. Will we see them starting? I would love to see it, but we’ll see. As Mike Brown said, as Mike Brown said, uh, you know, once he gets his staff together, he’ll he’ll take a look. It’s still a little bit early. Okay. It only stops. Is there is there a Mike Brown way to play or is do you adapt to roster and opportunity? Yeah. No, that’s a great question. I it you know I I think you you have a philosophy on both ends of the floor but you have to make sure that it fits with your personnel. So uh it’s ever evolving and uh it will be here once our roster is final uh our staff is final. We’ll lay the groundwork or the foundation for what we’re going to do going forward as a unit. Thank you everybody. All right. So, you know, basically sounds like what he’s saying is, hey, based on how we evaluate the roster, then we’ll figure out what how we want to tailor the system to the personnel, which is how it should go anyway. You don’t want to just force this template on the team if it doesn’t fit because that’s a quick way back to the unemployment line. You got to make sure that the way you’re utilizing the talent meets the style of play that you want to implement. Simple. So, like I said, I don’t expect them to be, you know, firing up and down like the Kings were because they Fox is not Brunson. Brunson is not Fox, but there’s certainly concepts. It doesn’t, you know, the the the Princeton concepts and the UCLA concepts, some of that what he ran with with the Kings. It’s not it’s not specific to a fast style. No, you No, there’s there’s concepts of it where you want to make quick decisions, play with a bit more pace, but it doesn’t mean that you just have to have athleticism all over the court and and just be blazing up and down like the Paces. So, that was that was pretty much it. They they wrapped it up after that. It was 24 minutes. Um, somebody in on Facebook is asking the question, “Bro, Mike, I see you. Shout out to you.” Uh, Anthony Odono says, “Uh, did the did did Nick Knicks executive management conduct an official introductory press conference? Did they answer questions from Yeah, this is it. This is what we going through right now.” So, that was pretty much it. But like I said, when it comes to these things, look, welcome, coach. Welcome to the team. We got work to do. That’s all I needed. Just a little five minutes. I’m happy to be here. Thank you, Mr. Dolan. Thank you, Leon. We got work to do. That’s pretty much it. I wasn’t expecting too much from this, but he seemed relaxed. Maybe he started off a little shaky. He might have been a little bit nervous. That’s natural, but he seemed a little bit relaxed. He’s ready for the job, and I think he’s ready for the task at hand. And especially, hey, I’m sure he felt like he caught a raw deal in Sacramento. He’s got something to prove, though. Everybody’s got something to prove. Him, the team, the organization. Shout out to TM. He showed me how to find the super chats on uh on my phone. So, I did. Yo, shout out to JD. He left the super chat. Said, “Where’s the next Twitter day trophy and James Carter, shout out to you and welcome Anthony Hayward.” All right, let me see what’s going on in the chat. I got a meeting at 6:30. So, uh we did get to the end of this, but I’m just vibing with the people. So, to you guys Kadoza says, “I truly believe Mike Brown gets his championship with this team and the fan base dying for a championship.” I hope you’re right. That’s what we’re looking for. You know, that’s definitely what we’re looking for. Dianel Aronte, salute to you, man. Henny says, “Mike Brown will shock a lot of people and the Knicks will win the next championship.” Certainly hope so. It’s It’s wide open and there’s no better time than now. The Shells, he’s listening while driving. Shout out to the Shells, aka our DJ, for this Saturday’s uh Knicks fan meetup in Las Vegas. Man, looking forward to seeing everybody down there in Vegas at 24 Oxford inside the Virgin Hotel. Man, the next Knicks fan meetup is uh this Saturday, 8:00 p.m. Pacific time. Every other day, the Knicks will be uh live from Las Vegas and we’ll be live for our postgame overreactions, a tradition unlike any other. Okay, what else? Oh, that boy Jordan Clarkson touchdown in New York and he got busy right away. went straight to Chris Prickley in the Black Ops uh studio there at the at the uh what what gym is that? Lifetime Fitness. I think this is TM. This is TripleM’s building. TripleM’s a little bougie. I I think I think he lives in this building. So, uh but anyway, Clarkson popped out. You know what I mean? He’s hooping in in a Nick Polo. Said, “Let me give the fans a little highlight reel real quick about what to expect.” All right. So, there’s Jordan Clarkson, man. So, so we’re getting Summer League is is summer is kicking off properly. We got summer league coming up for the overreactions and one of the best time of year is the summer where we overreact to workout videos. So Jordan Clarkson sets the tone with the first workout video of the summer. All right. So yeah. So so there it is. Shout out to Jordan Clarkson and welcome to New York. Um, as I said with the with the event, with the fan meetup, you can RSVP nicksv.com, kftvmeup.com. All free. We want everybody out there. It’s going to be a great time. Just a vibe with some friends. Um, the shells aka DJ Uncle Mike on the ones and twos. And it’s just going to be a good time, man. Just come network, meet some people, meet some Nicks fans from all over the world who’s going to be there in Vegas. And and that’s how we doing it, man. looking very much looking forward to meeting everybody out there. All right, what else do we got here? Um, just reading some more super chats. Did he pull up from half court? Yeah. Yeah, he’s ready. He’s ready. Shout out shout out to uh Jordan Clarkson. So, we’ll see when he gets introduced to the Knicks, to the media, and he’ll be rocking zero. Fat guy 1906. Good to see Clarkson already in the gym. Yeah, he’s ready. He’s ready to ball out. So, I’m sure we’ll see the first black ops scrimmage. Brunson will be there. Clarkson probably deuce going to be very interesting. The next backcourt could get very interesting. You I I think backup point guard has to be the priority for that last vet minimum spot. You guys let me know what you think in terms of who the Knicks should be pursuing here. Is it a Brogden? Is it a Ben Simmons? I’d lean more Brogden for me. I’m I I don’t think, you know, for a team with championship by aspirations. I I just don’t I I think the Ben Simmons thing is just finished. So, is it a Brockton? Knicks need a backup point guard, man. What do you think? Options are pretty limited. I don’t see CP3 as a as a valid option. I think he stays out west. Need one more backup point guard, a ball handler, a playmaker. Options are slim. Cadoza says, “I want a backup rim protector.” You got Mitch, you got you got Hucky, Huck Huckamia, and maybe James Naji gets that rookie deal. You never know. Gino and Joseph, I see you in the chat. How you feeling? So, so yeah, you just you just never know, man. Once again, shout out to our sponsor of the day at cargurus.com. 1. The start of this episode was hilarious! The frustration on CP’s face with the chicken seasoning noise 😂😂😂😂

  2. I don’t know why the hate towards Rick. Shit the man obviously knew what he was doing with his son. Always saw him trying to encourage players while they tuned Thibbs out. Ppl act like they really know what’s going on in the locker room or team. All you see is the game like me haha and in the game he was getting on refs and players I liked the passion. Anyway Mike of course is allowed to bring in his main guys.

  3. They can get back to the ECF’s on talent alone. They need help from the coaching staff to get to the finals. Hope Mike fills out the rest of the bench with some IQ.

  4. Shout out Leon Rose. I loved and miss everyone we’ve gotten rid of. From Randle all the way to Thibs. But to say this man Leon is not cooking rn… would be ludicrous. This might be one of our most dominant seasons in a long time.

  5. How am I more amped to hear about the Twitter Knicks day basketball tourney than I care about the in season tournament. 🤣🤣

  6. Salute! I'm ready to roll with Coach Brown. Cat could be enshrined if he wins here and he's well aware. And I remember the other Brown's hiring, which came with some speculation as he smelt of Pacers. I approved Larry's hire, but man that was just another bummer. anyhow… Let's go!

  7. Knicks should get Ben Simmons. 6’10 PG and a wing. Coach brown plays fast and Simmons thrives in the open court with all the mismatches. I don’t think he’s washed he’s young but for the minimum, it’s not a risk. He can always be waived. Beal isn’t coming, Brogdon isn’t coming. Gotta be realistic

  8. We know what the starting 5 can do. It comes down to extending the rotations and giving these bench guys the confidence they need!

  9. Keeping it 💯👉Leon, WWW and Dolan literally just stuck Mike Brown out there in front of the media WiTH NO INTRODUCTION or SUPPORT – I get the stay in the background approach – but the best owners and GM's don't duck and hide. That being said – Mike did a great job, said all the right things, now let's go get a chip.

  10. Leon knew he was going to take Mike brown. Look at the drafted player. Look at the yabuseli signing. They play fast

  11. He was fired twice cause it was the top players asking for his exit. Lebron n fox they are both pre Madonna’s that’s why. So the the owner roled with the players. That didn’t happened with the lakers cause Kobe is not a pre modonna he don’t do sucker stuff

  12. He was fired twice cause it was the top players asking for his exit. Lebron n fox they are both pre Madonna’s that’s why. So the the owner roled with the players. That didn’t happened with the lakers cause Kobe is not a pre modonna he don’t do sucker stuff

  13. Mitchell has to be more than just rebounds. He has to develop his offensive game. If not concentration on ft

  14. Not mad at the hire but he’s a dork. lol. I’m really gonna miss Thibs’ dry sense of humor and his willingness to call a spade a spade and not use platitudes.

  15. Brown talked about how a faster pace will improve the Knicks offense by making it less predictable and giving the opponent no time to set up on defense. I’ll be very
Intrigued to see what Brown’s rotations look like.
I also look forward to Brown’s spicy post game with the New York media. These players are gonna get called out.😂
