ALL THE SMOKE Reacts to NBA Summer’s Most SHOCKING Headlines

Uh before we move on to this, the Bucks, the team that stretched Dame, what are they doing? I’m I’m confused. And I mean, Miles Turner for what what they give him? Four four 107. Is that that much of an improvement from Brook Lopez? Uh who’s running the team now? Obviously, Giannis is is the man, but you know, you need guards to make that engine roll. Um just a lot of weirdness don’t want to be that [ __ ] Y don’t That’s what I’m saying. Is is it time to to to to pack it in? And I can only imagine what you get with Giannis on the on the trade market. The time to rebuild. Yeah, it’s a rebuilding. They got to cut the cord with Giannis. Let this [ __ ] go cuz he don’t want to be there. You know what I mean? So, and uh but yeah, they in rebuilding uh situation. That [ __ ] is all [ __ ] up over there in Milwaukee now. And especially when they your main man don’t want to play with you no more and he done gave you everything he could give you. He done been I mean he’s that man could have been left and he stayed there you know they say he’s you know he likes you know you know he don’t like to move around a lot so but it’s a good situation for him man I just think they they in rebuilding situation man the goddamn Milwaukee Bucks they just that shit’s trash over there I don’t know I wouldn’t even want to go there I wouldn’t even I wouldn’t even want I wouldn’t even I wouldn’t even want to go there and play once they traded middle away that’s when things start going downhill he was a big part of what they did he had got hurt and he had missed a a timeout and they start they didn’t play ch they played a little bit they played better a little bit without him then they got rid of him they’ve been going downhill since now Giannis Giannis don’t really know he want to be there and then now you got to think bro how many people want to play for Doc in Milwaukee like come on bro like like that like come on bro like they I think they had that I think they got to blow that all up man see what I think though too also is adding to that and I think it’s a similar thing that Denver did the small pieces that help you get to that championship, you know what I mean? The PJ Tuckers and and and the smaller pieces when you kind of let them go and then similar on the flip side where Denver let go of Bruce Brown and Jeff Green and guys that were instrumental, although they were able to resign Bruce Brown for three million, so they got him back a year or two later, but you you know, you kind of forget obviously you you’re you focus on your star your core stars, but role players make that [ __ ] go and I feel like both those teams kind of let crucial guys go. Luckily, Denver was able to rebound and rebuild, but Milwaukee hasn’t been able to do that. So, it’ll be really interesting to see if Giannis, you know, packs it up. Like you said, Max, he brought an MVP there. He brought a championship there. We all know Milwaukee lifestyle is is is is not something you you strive for. You know what I mean? And you see this band’s buying houses out in New York and and moving around big cities now. So, I think he might be getting that itch. Yeah, we going to see. You definitely want um Pacers. I mean, Jack, you’re headed to Indie right now. you were there throughout their run. What I mean’s out within Achilles. You you Miles Turner’s gone. Uh what is what is what is their strategy moving forward? Are they just, you know, biting their time until Hallebertton gets back? Do they they trade some people away for some assets? What do you guys think their play should be? The Florida team is still there. I think uh they they plan on making some moves to do some things uh beginning the season. Goard Nemar got to just come out balling. He got to be more aggressive. which I think is going to be good for him because he get to come out aggressive and really really get himself going. Um, not going to be the same team without Hallebertton, but you got the same core team and all those guys play hard. I think they going to be all right, especially in the East. I think they’re going to be all right, bro. I like the damn trade with Miles Turner. Big old soft ass his ass when his ass want to shoot all the goddamn threes. I like that trade for Miles Turner. [ __ ] that [ __ ] That that big old soft [ __ ] won’t shoot all the goddamn threes, man. Get your ass on the block, man. So hopefully they put his ass on the block over there, [ __ ] Max, that’s why we love you, Max. Cuz you’re talking you’re talking from a a lot of players perspect or fans perspective, but also like a old school like, bro, you’re bigger than everyone on the court and you want to keep yourself on the perimeter the whole I mean, I don’t mind the perimeter, but mix it in. You mean mix in that block and and take advantage of that, but it’s crazy. You said, “Hey, you said it best, Max.” That’s all I have to say about that. Your Rockets, Max, they made some moves. We haven’t spoken since Kevin Durant in the seven team deal. Rockets received Kevin or Kevin Durant and Clint Capella. Suns received Jaylen Green and Dylan Brooks. Houston also signed Doran and Finny Smith to a four-year 50 mill$ 53 million deal. And they resigned Jabari Smith and Steven Adams. Solid move for your boys. I love the moves. I love every damn thing they done done over there in Houston, man. They trying to really win one. I think they put themselves in a good position to be one of the favorites this year. I mean, we [ __ ] like I kept saying, all these [ __ ] needed to do what the Rockers needed to do or get a [ __ ] you can roll that ball out, too, and go get a goddamn bucket. And we got him now. The greatest to ever do it. You got one to be able to ever roll the ball out and go get you one. Kevin, one of the greatest to ever do it. And and and I agree with you. I felt like they were missing. They were a good young team that played hard and a good coach, but they missed that one guy that every single night is going to give you whether what do you have 27 last year? It’ll probably, you know, 26 25 26 27 next year. That consistency. Uh he’s got a bunch of young dogs that are going to play hard for Kevin, too. You know what I mean? They realize they know KD is on his last run and then young boys are going to be motivated to play hard for him and help him get one on the way. So, I’m really happy for you guys uh and what you were able to do, man. they continue to improve. Another team that I feel got better uh was Denver. They traded Michael Porter Jr. for Cam Johnson. Michael Porter owed $79 million over the next two seasons. Cam Johnson is owed 43 over the next two seasons. So, you know, nearly $30 million 30 plus million difference. They were able reable to sign an instrumental Swiss Army knife for their championship run Bruce Brown for only 3 million. And then they got Valenunis who was in talks about jumping over the waters and Denver said, “No, [ __ ] that, bro. We traded for you. You gonna honor your contract.” But all jokes aside, to me, Valenunis is one of the best backup bigs in the game. Yeah. Very solid double double, hard-nosed. Absolutely. Physical. You’ll find his ass. He likes to shoot that, you know, awkward looking jumper from the mid-range, but he he’ll be on that block, too. He’ll definitely do some block work. So, I think that’s a a big move. So, absolutely. You look at what Cam uh you you get uh Murray, Cam Johnson, Christian Brown, Peyton Watson, Aaron Gordon, Bruce Brown, Tim Hardaway Jr. too. They picked him up, which is a very solid pickup. And then Valenunis and you put that all around Jokic and and this team was what? They took they took OKC to seven, right? Seven. Yes. I mean, they got they definitely got better. So, uh absolutely. Between these two, Max, these two teams we just mentioned, who’s had a better off seasonason thus far? Has it been Houston or Denver? Oh, man. I’m probably It’s hard it’s hard to say Denver probably and I was talking to the producers too and it’s it’s hard for me to say that a team you get it Kevin Durant and you your team didn’t have the best off season but D Denver’s been able to put a lot around and and they’ve been able to add pieces to it already a championship proven team. I really like what Houston’s done and and to your point I think they put theirel right in contention. I think it’s going to be Denver, Houston, and OKC as the top three teams in the Western Conference. But both teams, man, have had great off season thus far. And it really kind of shines the lights on the on the teams that that haven’t. You know, you you look at Phoenix like, okay, now you’re buying out Bradley Beal and and what are you getting in return, you lose you lose Kevin Durant, you know, Milwaukee, you stretch Dame and you sign Miles Turner. like you see how important I think a lot of people just don’t appreciate how important a solid foundation from ownership to management is on building these teams. We’ve seen the Knicks struggle for so many years and they finally got some good management in there and you see the product on the court. I tell people, man, I don’t care what the [ __ ] you have on paper. If your management and ownership is is sideways, it’ll never it’ll Yeah. It’ll never turn into cuz you know when it starts absolutely up top. Max, this is the last show um of the summer for the season. What is one bold prediction for next year? What’s something you want to hang your hat on that remember this day and we’re going to clip this [ __ ] and next year we going to say, “Max, remember you said this [ __ ] on this day.” What is that prediction for you? I goddamn Rockets going to win the championship next year. I ain’t That’s what the damn bold That’s what the [ __ ] prediction is. That’s it. The Rockets gonna win that [ __ ] Yeah, that’s what it is. What’s yours? I don’t know. I’mma think of one. Normally as the host, I just have to ask you [ __ ] that I don’t really have to give you my bold prediction. But um what is a bold prediction? What is a bold prediction? I think Bradley Bill has a a very solid season next year. And he reminds people why just, you know, three or four years ago he was considered one of the best two guards in the game. I think a a bounceback season for Bradley. Good dude, bad situation, and then you know how how the all the noise starts with that. But, uh, I’m happy I’m happy he’s gonna get his chance to really spread his wings and and find it the the love for the game again. And so, that’s my predict. It’s not as big as yours. I’m not saying I like I like Bradley. He a gator. You know what I mean? That [ __ ] he went to Florida. So, I I [ __ ] with him. Yeah. He’s a gator. So, does LeBron finish as a Laker next season? Absolutely. Absolutely. You can’t trade for the [ __ ] Lakers. I mean, what who who [ __ ] that? Who saying that [ __ ] Who? Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, stop with all that [ __ ] Dylan. Dylan, what are you talking about, buddy? Don’t do that to yourself. Hell no. Braun ain’t going no [ __ ] way. Hell no. That man in LA for Yeah, he’s going no he’s not going nowhere.

  1. I can tell y’all don’t watch Milwaukee play. Middleton hurt the beginning of every year and is on his last leg. They had to get younger. I loved Lillard, but it wasn’t working.

  2. KD ain’t going to do shit for Houston besides making sure his bank account routing number is correct. Guaranteed

  3. Nah Stephen Jackson once they traded Jrue Holiday away that’s when sht went downhill not Middleton Jrue was a major key for them winning the nba finals

  4. Come on man Max earning that knick name, putting ish in the game, these the worse takes of time, only thing they got right is Doc need to go, legend in his own right sure his a great guy, he gave it a go but not the guy Bucks need at coach

  5. We are just trying to get LA back from that want to be puppet master, stat padding individual that is chasing his ego. Play some defense, don¨t cherry pick and definitely stop with the nepotism. We can free up some capital to get the rest of the ones that want to actually play ball like ball was intended. Hope Luca stops with the ref complaining too. Bad habit to kick for these two. Hope I can get my LA back.

  6. Why haven't you two covered the Ben Mclemore development. He was convicted of rap- and sentenced to 8 years in Oregon State prison. The victim was a 21 year old female. Talk about that story.

  7. Mad max your bold prediction is a bold face lie😂😂😂😂 the only way the rockets winning the championship next year is if the sign you back to the team😂😂😂😂
