Taelon Peter has a rare combo of athleticism and efficiency. It got him to the NBA with the Pacers.
What stood out to you about this combination this guy has of elite efficiency but also ridiculous athleticism that’s really really rare for players? Yeah, you know, I I knew he had high jumped in high school, but uh and you could tell by some of his his uh highlights when he played at Arkansas Tech that he had some bounce. Uh but what I didn’t know was his ability to put them together. And honestly, Tony, he’s got this he’s got this rare combination of explosive athleticism and really good skill. And I think the two of them like just in our system where, you know, we we try and take advantage of spacing, uh, he started to feel a lot more comfortable. And, you know, he’s such a good kid. He he’s very compliant, wants to be a great teammate, wants to win the game. He has a tendency to sacrifice, but when he figured out, oh man, like I can do this at a pretty high level, he was fabulous.
