back so quickly. I know. It’s It’s amazing. Um, you know, playing on my hometown team and, you know, just getting in with the coaches and whatnot. I just um I’m just really blessed and honored. What’s it been like having all of these guys and being able to like play against other people as opposed to just maybe some draft drills or things like that? Oh, yeah. It’s it’s completely different. You know, we get to scrimmage now and, you know, play five on five, play against the coaches and, you know, in those workouts it’s really just three on three, four on four. So, you know, just getting back up and down is um it’s been really fun. Has Kobe given you any tips on like what summer league is going to be like and how to best showcase maybe your skills? Yeah, I mean we were just really talking about you know our sets and you know just being as a big and you know listening to your point guard on what he wants to do. What’s the crash course and terminology and things like that been like for you or has that really kind of gotten underway yet? Yeah, I mean, you know, the different names and uh sets that we run, it’s all, you know, pretty much the same ter terminology. It’s just, you know, just different names for everything. So, um it’s pretty easy to pick up and coach does a really good job explaining everything. What are some of your major priorities heading into summer league? Just winning. That’s all we want to do. Uh just learn about who we are, you know, as players and um you know, it’s just it’s just really to, you know, have fun, uh win games, and you know, come together as a squad. is that now that you have a little bit of time and you’ve worked out a little, what’s your first impressions of this organization? It’s an amazing organization. Um, you know, and Corver, they all do a really good job handling everything and, um, all the coaches are great. Super um, good at instilling confidence into the players. What have you wanted to challenge yourself with with summer? Uh, I’ll just say just be a dominant force. We saw you get a chance to go to the Dream game um, a couple of days ago. What was it like seeing them play the Storm? I think it was. And I know it was a tough loss for the the Dream, but what was it like being able to watch them? Yeah, I mean they played with a bunch of swag. Uh the crowd really gets into it. Um you know, seeing um you know, Britney Grinder, that was pretty cool. And you know, it was my first WNBA game and you know, it was a really cool experience. Any nerves in the uh first pitch? Oh, I I didn’t do the first pitch. I just did a Georgia swap, but I think uh we’re going to try to work something out. A lot of the young guys come in and like Zachary and Mo the last couple of seasons, they talk about the quest to kind of put on weight through their, you know, first couple of seasons. Has that process at all begun with you? Have you talked to anybody about that? Oh, 100%. I’m definitely trying to put on size. You know, it’s a grown man’s league, so you know, I just got to hold my own for sure. But the SEC definitely prepared me. Uh I know it’s different, but 100% I’m trying to put on more size. that they’ve tried to like get into your diet and like different things that already like protein shakes or whatever else they want to get you working on. Oh yeah, for sure. And you know, I’m in the weight room every single day, you know, getting the uh post postpractice smoothies before practice smoothies and um you know, the kitchen is really good and yeah, the food’s amazing. I know it’s been such a short time, but is there anybody that you’ve been able to bond with a little bit in terms of your new teammates like Mo or Kobe or even some of the other young guys that might be involved? Yeah, me, Ellie, we went to the drink game together. Uh Jake is really cool. Uh Kobe’s cool, too. But, you know, as a team, we’re all we’re all pretty close, so it’s really cool. Awesome. Thank you.
