Knicks’ Final FA Target? Brogdon or GP2 Incoming!? 👀🧐 #shorts

Many Knicks fans are wondering what’s the plan for that final roster spot. And word is, according to Ian Begley, New York is still looking at adding one more veteran guard behind Jaylen Brunson. And two names that are likely in the mix are Malcolm Brogden and Gary Peyton II. Brogden would bring playmaking, size, and shooting off the bench. And a former six-man of the year, super reliable when healthy. Now, Gary Peyton II is a straightup defensive monster. He’s a one-time NBA champion with the Warriors in 2022, the team that Mike Brown was part of. And with his energy and effort, he would fit perfectly with the Knicks second unit.

The Knicks are hunting for one last veteran signing — Malcolm Brogdon and Gary Payton II are two names to watch 👀🔥 Who do you want to see in New York?

  1. Should the Knicks SIGN Brogdon or GP2 for the final vet minimum deal? 👀🧐

  2. I think they should develop Tyler kolek ss that secondary guard next Brunson so they should get gp2

  3. Brogdon is the better option as he provides another ball handler off the bench. Also, you can play Brogdon in a lineup with the other reserve guards (Clarkson/Deuce). You can't play GPII with them as that leaves you with no size off the bench, especially if the plan is to start Mitch and have Hart come off the bench. Really, they need another true wing off the bench.

  4. Warriors aren’t giving up on Gary unless Knicks over pay for him , with Brunson discounts they can afford it

  5. In this case id take Brogdon as watching the bench struggle to get offense was painful. I prefer the defense though.

  6. Payton. We already have everything else off the bench, We still have Josh. For all that I would take Ben Simmons for his height defense and he can run the second unit. We still don’t have e a scary shooter.
