this weird basketball hoop has been fixed it’s called an Infinite and it’s a normal rim but the net is made of spikes the spikes are durable so people can’t rip them down like a normal net and they also stop your basketball from rolling away one problem the Infinite had was its sound because a swish used to sound like this but somehow it now sounds like this they also changed the color of the spikes to white but the goal of this net is to stop the problem of going to a park and seeing a hoop look like

These fucking SUCK. They've put them up all around where I live and people only play on the courts without them now. Used to be able to find pick-up at the park and then they put these up on every rim, now noone even shooting.

If this is for a public place where the net gets always beat up then maybe. But net is still better and they better not use this in the NBA etc

I guarantee these will still get destroyed. Anything not bolted to the ground and made of metal gets destroyed in cities.
I'd recommend one adjustment with this design – leave the net design alone. It's perfect.
