This is GENUINELY SICKENING…
This is genuinely sickening. A new trade report involving Jonathan Kaminga has fans in Milwaukee already celebrating what would be the fleece of the century. I mean, this is almost worse than that Kings offer. So, are the Warriors about to make a massive mistake, or is this a misdirection? In today’s video, I’m going to break down the report, analyze the rumor with my new trust rating, and discuss the implications all of this has in the Warriors offseason and for you as a fan cuz I want to share some insights with you that I think you really need to pay attention to on what to believe out there. So, welcome to Warriors Digest. I’m Arthur Bayeros. We bring you daily videos, sometimes like three, four, five videos a day. Myself, Ben, Randy Silver, we break down everything going on with the Warriors. If you’re part of this percentage here who hasn’t hit subscribe, hit that button right now because I can tell you we bring you the best Warriors content on YouTube and what to trust, what not to, we break it all down. Rumors, summer league, all of it. And today, the rumor that is infuriating Warriors fans and pissing me off for a number of reasons here is this Bucks exploring blockbuster trade with the Warriors for Breakout Forward. Now, this coming from Sports Illustrated, but all of this that you’ve been seeing over the past 24 hours about this trade with the Bucks comes from Evan Sidri. Now, Evan Sidri covers the NBA. He’s an insider, contributes to Forbes, who yes, Forbes Financial does cover the NBA. It’s weird. You can look it up. But this is the tweet that came out. And I want you to pay close attention to the wording here. The Bucks have explored sign and trade scenarios to obtain Jonathan Kaminga. The Warriors show little interest in Kyle Koosma, so it would take attaching their 2031 first plus a prospect to gain any significant traction. In the meantime, Kaminga’s market appears to be in a standstill. Bucks fans went wild when this came out here. People saying Kaminga to Milwaukee and a sign and trade for Koosma and a first makes so much sense for both sides make it happen. Other tweets here, uh, the Koozma for Kaminga trade going to bang for Warriors fans. No, it’s not. We hate it. Spoiler alert. But I want you to key in on a couple of things here in Evan Sidri’s tweet. Nowhere in the tweet does he say per sources or I’m hearing there is no source I can find anywhere online about a Kyle Koosma in a firstround pick offer from the Milwaukee Bucks for Jonathan Kaminga. Now we do know that the Bucks are interested in Kaminga because we got this report over here earlier from Anthony Slater in the Athletic. This was several days ago that he put this out, the latest on Jonathan Kaminga. I think this was uh July 3rd. Uh where he says that the Washington Wizards have entered the mix in the past 24 hours and the idea of a Kaminga is a possible fit in Washington. Rebuild has gained momentum according to league sources. There’s that line. According to league sources, Slater has sources. He is fed a lot of information through The Athletic. I don’t know if you know this or not, but The Athletic has a very good relationship with a lot of NBA agents who feed them information in order to create a certain narrative or to push a certain angle. If you notice, Anthony Slater, great reporter. He’s been covering the Warriors for years. He got unprecedented access to Jonathan Kaminga right after the season while he was training in Cleveland and did a great piece on him that was very favorable. But still Anthony Slater as the good reporter as he is, he did, you know, offer both sides of the story here, but it was a very, you know, all access granted piece on Kaminga that was granted to Slater there. That’s a digression here, but I’m just trying to differentiate between some of the reports that are going around out here. So, Anthony Slater added into that report that the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brooklyn Nets have all registered varying levels of interest. League sources said, again, he’s letting you know that this is what he’s hearing from his sources, which are not always reliable. Not all of these rumors come to fruition, but he is very tapped in. I don’t know if you knew this, but he’s going to be going to ESPN in the upcoming season. We know how ESPN makes stars out of good reporters like Shams Trannia or like Woge. There’s a whole debate there and I want you to look into that. Do a little bit of homework and maybe I’ll break it down a little bit more on some of the NBA reporting, but wild stuff goes on with NBA reporting and you just need to consider that some of these things are fed to reporters for various reasons. either to promote agendas from the team or from the players agent. So, just take a lot of this with a grain of salt here, but I do want to discuss this because I think it’s really important, but I still want to drive home the point. There’s no source here in the tweet and I see nowhere online where there is a sourced report about Kyle Kosma being offered to the Warriors in exchange here. Does it mean that it’s not happening? No, it doesn’t. This trade could go down. I hope to God it does not go down because it’s an awful deal for the Warriors because when you look at what Koosma did last year, I mean, take a look at his stats here. 14.8 points, 5.7 boards, 2.3 assists, shooting 43% from the field. Awful. 30% from behind the arc. Awful. never been rated highly on his defense. Although he did improve a little bit after the All-Star break last year, but not good at all. This is not the return that you want for Jonathan Kaminga, especially because let’s take a look at his playoff stats from last year. Milwaukee was in the playoffs, only played five games before everything went down with Dame Lillard tearing his Achilles, but look how far down his averages went. 5.8. 8 points per game. At one point, uh, he was like losing minutes. I think the last in the fifth game, he ended up playing like 13 minutes. Not good at all. 20% from behind the ark. Awful. We do not want that. That is not what we want. But you know what’s even worse? His contract. Cuz he’s carrying a $22 million cap hit next year. Also, he’s on the hook for a year after that. Thank God that contract is declining a little bit in value as it goes to about 20 million. still terrible contract. You don’t want to be paying Kyle Kosma $42 million. Now, if there’s a first round draft pick attached, sure, but in 2031, as per the report here, no. No thank you. Also, again, to remind you, nowhere does it says anything about a source on this. So, just take it all with a little bit of a grain of salt. But we’re still sitting here with no resolution in the Jonathan Kaminga saga. We’re in the second week of free agency. Um, still no movement. And from everything I’m hearing from all of what I’m listening to all across the NBA, from all of the reporters, from Mark Spears, Anthony Slater, Monty Pool here locally, uh, with NBC Bay Area, who’s covered the Warriors for almost three decades. There’s no movement right now. And it doesn’t seem like anything, nobody’s anticipating anything is going to go down imminently. It seems like the trade market is completely just not viable for Kaminga right now again because of this baseear compensation that first year in what the type of contract that Jonathan is looking for. I also want to point out something here in this Koosma trade as well. It’s just the numbers don’t necessarily work there even um you know with the breakdown there. There is a little bit of a discrepancy on how much the Warriors could potentially wiggle with here. So, I want to show you something. I did run this through the trade machine and Koozma with that $22 million cap hit for next year and I gave Kaminga a theoretical $25 million in that first year there. It fails because the numbers don’t match, but they are a little bit closer than I thought. And I don’t know if this is true. I didn’t go fully deep down into the dive of every uh little aspect of the the new CBA and some of these things cuz I I don’t think that this is right from everything that I’m hearing. But this is saying that salary matching wise it’s only off by about $2 million here. What does it say? Yeah, you’re over the allowable incoming amount by $2 million. Obviously, that doesn’t add up because his incoming is 12.5, but it looks like they’re also incorporating a trade exception here for 7.5, which it explains at the bottom here that the Warriors are unable to complete the trade since they are not an over the apron team. They’re sending out between 7.5 and 29 million in salary. They’re only able to take back 7.5 million more than the salary they’re sending out. So, the Warriors can only take back 20 million. So, this says that the trade’s only off by 2 million, but either way, I digress. It doesn’t work that way. Now, you can throw in some filler. Either way, Koosma is not coming to the Warriors. I do not believe that and I will stand on that. And if I am wrong, I will make a video about how wrong I was about this. But I just want you to take all of these things into consideration as free agency continues to heat up around the NBA here. Let me try to get myself back on the screen. All of this is just so frustrating. We’re all frustrated as Warriors fans about what’s going on, but we don’t want the Warriors to make a dumb move. And I think just wishing for any out here in the Jonathan Kaminga situation is not the answer. I do think that a lot of indications and the reports that are coming out from credible sourced reporters are saying that more likely than not the Warriors are going to start the season with Jonathan Kaminga. And at this point, when you see how bad the v the market is here for Kaminga, it makes sense to hang on to him potentially until the trade deadline when you’ve got somebody who’s more motivated to give something up, who’s a little bit more desperate, who’s trying to make a move and they want to do something there. A lot can happen between now and the middle of February at the trade deadline. So, also his salary ends up being uh uh you’re able to trade out 100% as well. So, it’s just a lot easier to move it on matching purposes. So, we’re going to continue to wait. We’ll bring you updates as soon as we get some. I know that Randy has a video coming out where he’s going to give you some updates on the free agency with the Anthony Melton. We got some good news there. We got a little bit of slight non news on Al Horford, but we’re just going to keep waiting. We’re waiting and we’re tired. And so I’m going to bed cuz I’m tired of waiting this for years. Not supposed to say that. I’m going to cut that part out. Bye. Have a great night.

Nonononononononononono pls dont get kuz 😢
NBA worst GM?
I’m sure JK signs for the exact amount of Wiggins’ contract and at the deadline the Warriors trade JK for Wiggins
A front line of Giannis, Turner, & Kuminga is a dynasty, the NBA has never seen a frontcourt like this before, it would be completely dominating, all of the strengths with none of the weaknesses
I just started watching your pod cast since the season ended, and I will be 100 your info been so inaccurate. Please only give us some real insider information
I'd rather take Bobby Portis & maybe Gary Trent Jr
I wouldnt want Kuzma either if I were the Warriors. At this point, just take 2-3 first rounders even if its 2028 or later, they dont even need a player back. Get that Kuminga off the books and have future draft picks to help for the post Curry era of the Warriors.
Why do the Warriors think Kuminga wants to stay when all they do is trash the kid? The sooner this kid is off the team the better. Good Luck JK, go get yours!
Bad trade for dubs. Fantastic trade for Bucks. 😂❤
A bunch of nothing
They aren't that stupid to take Kuzma
U killing me warriors 😵💫😵💫😵💫 we getting this we getting that 🤦🏻♂️ WE NEED A BIG NOT ANOTHER SF OR PF SMH
Hey guys thanks for the videos, I see a bit of hate that seems misdirected towards you out of frustration with the warriors. I enjoy the channel and while I too am frustrated with the lack of action. I enjoy hearing your perspectives on each situation. You are appreciated. Thank you 🙏 all love no hate. I’m sure something will happen… at some point lol I just hope it’s not us taking an awful deal in the end.
3 team trade:
Wizards get Kuzma and 2031 pick,
Warriors get Tre Johnson,
Bucks get JK.
Loseminga isnt worth a bag of ketchup chips.
We are long past any trade rumors. The Warriors are talking, but it is obvious they have no intention of doing anything short of Giannis or Al Horford at Boston. Let me say it another way, please stop with the reporting of rumors. The Lakers have proven there is no market for a stretch center. All of this to me only proves that Giannis has not made up his mind, or he has directed the Bucks to workout a deal with the Warriors. So, what we are looking at is a Giannis trade or bust. The Warriors will take their chances with very little change to their roster. Depending on how the season starts with Milwaukee, they are to the point that they may have to move off of Giannis and go for youth while tanking for the rest of next season rebuilding from the lottery and drafting. This will allow them the opportunity to bring their finances back in line. The Warriors are in the best position to give the bucks what they need with a guard heavy roster and wings.
I don't know if the deal will work like this, Kuminga the trade exception and Jackson Davis for Kuzma and a first wouldn't be bad. Kuzma is a player who, if placed in the right environment, will play well. It's obvious that he didn't adapt to Milwaukee, but trading him now and giving him time to adapt in training camp could work. Besides, he's a player who helps you immediately. I would only look at the value of the first-round pick.
No sure about this GM
Best thing Warriors could do is fire STEVE 5 GUARD LINE-UP KERR!!!!!
What a BUM organization, the Warriors have become the foolishness that this organization has been doing to Kuminga is down right egregious, sabotage and yes R….T. Hold this guy hostage to continue to devalue him to nothing, if it wasn't for Kuminga in the Wolves series the Warriors would have been annihilated because Jimmy didn't show up, and Kerr showed himself and the fans he is over rated as a coach and without Curry on the floor he is clueless as to what to do. You tell me one the highest paid coach in the league don't know how to coach a budding 22 year old talented, swingman whose ceiling in the league is that of a future All-star period🤔it tells me all I need to know. Curry getting screwed by the very organization he helped build and I so wish he hadn't gotten injured because I felt in my heart they would have won the championship this year and management has shown me they have no intention of improving this team whatsoever and Curry got to be livid. Everybody improving their teams Warriors losing players and adding nobody..smfho I am a big Warriors fan tell me the last 7-10 years which player that the team has drafted that coach Kerr has helped developed??? Yeah I am waiting🤔, all the players are almost 1 and done, warm the bench and brings him tushy cushion. The next two players who soon be on the outs and in his dog house because it started happening already, Moses Moody and Trayce Jackson Davis, he doesn't give these young men confidence that if you make a mistake I will keep you in the game to learn, he yanks them, Dnp them games etc. I am a big fan of Kerr but I have to keep it💯, his favorite is clearly Podz and I guarantee he going to make sure he gets his $$$$$$ when time comes because he won't let him warm the bench even when he is laying bricks on the court. J.Kuminga if you reading this hold your head high my brother 🤎🖤❤ what is for you is for you whether it be in Warriors uniform or some where else, you came too far to let this team sabotage your goal in being one of the future greats of this league which I see in you future if given the opportunity to shine. You tell me a starting 5 of (Curry/Moody/Kuminga/Butler/ Dray or Trayce) come 2025-2026 season you can't coach that lineup Kerr, you really need to be re-evaluating whether you want to to do this job anymore because it shouldn't be hard. And HECK NO to KUZMA straight inconsistent and don't know wtf he is doing on the court most nights…Fml so annoyed as a Warriors fan, sign J.Kuminga asap. and lets get the ball rolling, shuuu.
