Giannis says “WE’LL SEE” about staying in Milwaukee

All right, so this is my last day before until I’m back in my home and I can get, you know, with the green screen and everything and we’ll be able to react to videos and stuff. But we got some news. Giannis went on Show Speed’s stream and he was asked if he’s going to stay with the Buckaroos and for the first time I think ever he opened up the possibility of leaving. He was asked if he’ll stay. Start with probably. Okay, fine. Yeah, it’s a little different than what you’ve said in the past, even earlier this summer, but okay. Then he adds, we’ll see. And it just kind of leads me back to where I originally was going into the off season where I think with Bucks fans, there’s the feeling of like the media is against us. They’re just making up stuff. 100% Giannis isn’t staying and or Giannis isn’t leaving. And my whole thing has been probably you’re right, but this year it’s different and we can’t act like there’s no chance he’s going to leave after the moves that have been made. Like even just we don’t have to get into everything that’s like questionable that we could debate about, but even just uh the Kyle Kosma trade by itself, it’s almost a franchise killer. If it’s not a franchise killer, it’s something that makes it much much much much much much much much much much more difficult to ever get back to contending, especially when you’ve already given up so many picks in previous trades. And so there’s mixed reports with this off season of whether Giannis orchestrated the moves that have been made or if he was unhappy. There was a report that came out from Chris Haynes that Giannis was blindsided and like not happy that they got rid of Dame. Some people think that that’s just like Giannis PR or even Dame PR because Chris Haynes is like best friends with Dne. But then there’s also the reports of like they’re doing this at Giannis’s behest. They’re doing this because Giannis is like pressuring them to do something right now to show him and they’re doing it to show him. I’m not sure what the moves this offseason have done for him. I’ll say for me so far, I am not a fan of the off seasonason. I like the beginning. I think the resignings we got, steals. I think every resigning we got was a great contract. I still think we gave up too much for Miles Turner, a starting center who was the 11th leading rebounder in the NBA Finals. I’ll say that again. Starting center in the NBA Finals, was 11th in rebounding. He played every game. Um, so when we gave up two picks to clear space, we don’t have to go through all that. I don’t like where that really puts the Bucks. I’m open to seeing what happens the rest of the off season. If there’s a chance the Bucks could still get Bradley Beal and make a trade for even like an Andrew Wiggins or a Herb Jones. Obviously, I’d like Herb Jones more, but if we could get off Koozma, then I’m starting to say, okay, then I could see the vision. I go back and forth a little bit. But overall from an unbiased perspective, like the Bucks aren’t in a good spot still. Last I checked, we have the eighth best odds to win the East. Like we’re in the bottom half of the East according to to Vegas, the Eastern Conference, the weaker conference. So again, I I’m back to where I was at the beginning of the offseason. I think it’s a 75 to 80% chance Giannis stays, but it’s now out of the horse’s mouth, not 100% that he stays. And so I think we do have to be real about that possibility. And if he were to get traded, if I see one more person defending John Horst or not protesting Jimmy Hasslam, I’m blocking you on whatever. You’re not allowed to comment on my channel anymore. You’re not allowed to interact with me on Twitter. If I see one more person, if Giannis leaves defending John Horst, it’s over. Because the only type of defense for some of the moves that has been made is like, oh, you got to be desperate to keep Giannis. Oh, like, you know, almost every movie he’s made has been terrible. Five picks to get Jay Crowder. Uh, drafting the, you know, these draft picks and, uh, trading AJ Johnson with Chris. Like we don’t have to go through everything, but like the vast majority of the things he’s done has been terrible. And the one thing I’ve seen from people is well, he’s kept Giannis in Milwaukee. If Giannis leaves, we are literally the biggest clown show in the East and we are maybe number two to the Sacramento Kings for the biggest clown show in terms of as an organization. um with the moves that we’ve been making that Kyle Kosma trade I I’ll just I’ll never get over it. There was just no justification for it in the world that wasn’t just straight up idiotic. And um yeah, the Bucks are at a really tough spot right now. I will say there’s two ways to look at it. one um you know with Giannis you have a chance and the guy’s coming back and he’s probably gonna stay and you know there’s still way to get back there’s a chance when you have Giannis and then there’s also the worry of Giannis saying this team isn’t it but if I get traded I’m going to take away assets from the other team and the other team might not be as good maybe he’ll just like wait it out to the end of his contract and then like in a year leave. And then if that happens, the Bucks are so far back as a franchise in terms of picks, in terms of young talent, it would be hard for the Bucks to get back to competing at a high level in a decade. So, at this point, I guess you do just have to cater everything to Giannis, and I don’t even want to say it, but if we know that he’s going to leave, I don’t want to say it. I don’t I won’t say it. But that type of that conversation needs to be had now. I will say that I don’t know if I’ll have it, but if you’re the front office, losing Giannis for nothing destroys your franchise for the next 10 years at least, unless you like hit on something wild that nobody expects. So, overall, my mentality is still honestly is saying he’ll probably stay. maybe just trying to put pressure on the Bucks to go get a Bradley Beal or something that he likes. But um you know, you have to keep tabs on it as an organization and just try and make sure you that guy does not leave. That’s all I got to say. Let me know what you all think about this.
