Another Coog in the NBA: Mylik Wilson Signs with the Houston Rockets
It’s me, KG, Chris Gardner, owner of the Houston Rounds Ball Review with some more good news involving the Houston Cougars alums and their NBA Dreams. Monday, the Rockets, the Houston Rockets announced their mini camp roster for the upcoming NBA summer league action in Las Vegas. And one of those young men on the roster, Houston Cougar alum, guard Malik Wilson. And yes, Malik Wilson is pursuing his NBA dream with the Rockets. Good luck to Malik and all young men who are on the Rockets roster getting ready to go to Vegas and show showcasing their skills for pro scouts throughout the league and overseas. The Rockets first game in Vegas will be Friday, July 11th versus the Clippers, 9:00 on NBA TV. After that, July 13th against Detroit on at 3:00 on ESPN 2. Then Monday, July 14th against the Atlanta Hawks, 3:30 Central on NBA TV in the last of the four games of basically group play, Thursday, July 17th against Portland in that game also on NBA TV. And let me do this real quickly. Malik now joins his other Cougar brothers in the NBA andor pursuing their NBA dreams on summer league rosters. I put together a few of the names. I think this is the the most updated list and if there’s more to add, I’ll add it in a future video here on the Houston Round Ball Review YouTube channel. Take a look in the NBA. Cougs in the NBA. Quinn Grimes with Philadelphia 76ers. Cuz a strict free agent, so he’s still with the Sixers so far. Marcus Sasser with Detroit Pistons. Detroit basketball. Jamal Shed with the Toronto Raptors. Jarus Walker with the Indiana Pacers. And next, Elder Crier with the Golden State Warriors, as well as J.J. Francis with the Warriors, Nate Hinton with the Memphis Grizzlies, Jawan Roberts with Utah Jazz, and of course the or a forementioned Malik Wilson with the Houston Rockets. Good luck to all of those young men with some good health, successful careers, because as always, as I am proud to say and I will shout it from my Houston round ball review mountaintop. Once a Coug, always a Coug. Go Cougs. Remember this since 1994. The Houston Round Ball Review. Local name, Global Perspective. Y’all take care. Peace. [Music]
6’2″ guard Mylik Wilson, Houston Cougars alum, has signed a summer league with the Houston Rockets.
Mylik is now the 9th (I think) Coog in the NBA / on an NBA Summer League roster.
