Sixers Curse Strikes Again! VJ Edgecombe Suffers Thumb Injury In Summer League #shorts
Well, Sixers injury curse strikes yet again. VJ Edgecomb with a thumb sprain will not play in Wednesday night’s summer league game against the San Antonio Spurs. Has also missed the previous two summer league games for Philadelphia after a tremendous opener for the Sixers against the Utah Jazz. Now, VJ has been participating in oncourt activities, working closely with the team’s trainers. I’m sure the Sixers are just being extra cautious here because it’s summer league, because he’s a third overall pick, but we know how these type of things tend to go with the Sixers. It seems they are cursed, and what seems to be a small injury can sometimes turn into something with more long-term ramifications. Now, for VJ, I wouldn’t again be too overly concerned because of the injury, but there’s always a chance with this team that things end up being worse than they initially do report. But let’s hope VJ Edgecom can get back out there on the floor sooner rather than later.

Doesn't matter if he doesn't play any more SL like Edey last season. Its all about being fully healthy then play meaningless games imo 😮

When tf did that become a thing?? I’m sooo tired of the NBA. This is the softest league in the world. I watched Kobe do some incredible stuff and to watch these soft ace dudes sit out because of a sore thumb is crazy to me. I will never watch that product again. The Big 3 is so much more entertaining at this point. NBA=WWE. Fake injuries and obvious fixed happenings. When is it going to be about basketball? Got people trying to ban the tush push, but will watch a free throw competition between LeBron and Shai. The best player is named Shai. I mean come on..
