Cam Whitmore TRADED to the Washington Wizards

The Houston Rockets just traded Cam Whitmore to the Washington Wizards in exchange for two second round picks. And truthfully speaking, this is a win-win trade for both teams. Now, if you’re the Houston Rockets, it does suck that you had to give up on a promising young athletic guard at just 21 years of age. But the Rockets, after all of the moves that they’ve made this offseason, this is a team that is going in a different direction. They really don’t have time for the development anymore because this is a team that is trying to win a championship right now. But for the Washington Wizards, Cam Whitmore is going to the nation’s capital where he joins an incredibly young talented Washington Wizards team that features guys like Alex Sar, Bub Carrington, Bal Kulibby, and Whitmore is now just another young piece to that roster. And this Wizards team is shaking up very nicely. They’re not going to be great this year, but if this team can find a way to continue to ascend and if they land AJ in next year’s draft, this Wizards team is coming together very nicely.

Cam Whitmore is headed to the nations capital!

  1. Regardless of what happens in the draft next year, the Wizards will have the most Room in the history of the NBA. Well over $100 million to spend. And before you say, nobody wants to come to DC, our new general manager is cooking.
