So, um, summer league isn’t necessarily in the summer league can give you more clues on the overall game of a player, but as far as deciding if they’re a bust or not, no, you don’t do that on summer league. That’s not what summer league is for. Summer league really summer league has become very political. See what I’m saying? Players will show up to summer league, especially during free agency. There was one year during summer league um before Anthony Davis was traded to the Lakers, if y’all remember, Anthony Davis and LeBron James showed up sitting together at a summer league, right? The political games that LeBron plays, these players play is crazy, right? So, political games are played at these summer leagues now. You know, you know, I expect for the Hornets, I expect all the hands to be on deck, hopefully like they were last year, that they all be back this year to support this uh squad, current squad that’s coming in, right? That’s why the Tan the three people that I want to see because this will tell us how far the Hornets are going to go next year. These three these three players actually four. There’s four. If they cook, if those four cook, I don’t see a reason why the Hornets won’t be in the playoffs next year. if they cook. I’m not saying they got to cook like they the goat and all that stuff, but if Khan, Tan, Caul, and Trey contribute significantly to the Hornets all around to impact winning to go along with LaMelo, Miles, and Brandon. All of that together, whatever Liam McNeely may be able to give you, whatever Seion can give you and Colin Ston, that to me, if they could all be productive like that, there is no reason why the Hornets should not make the playoffs next year. I think um you like I said Khan for some is the whipping boy. I think Khan is going to surprise some people. I think Khan’s going I think Khan’s going to be good on next level. Khan can Khan can carve out a nice role especially with the Hornets because Khan is not going to is not expected to be the star there. Khan can be a highlevel role player and that there’s a certain time, see there’s a certain time when you have to transition from drafting all these high picks that you have to develop and you have to transition into playoff mode where you’re drafting players to add to a team that is producing and going up, not a team that’s at the bottom all the time and you’re drafting like that. You see what I’m saying? the Hornets uh the Hornets now have to transition out of out of the lottery and transition into a team that is now going into the playoffs. Therefore, you draft for that. You’re not drafting star, you know, you’re drafting players to fit the core that is making it happen for you, which is the Melo Ball and Brandon Miller right now. See what I’m saying? And and once Khan gets up to speed, Khan, I think, is going to have some good Khan gonna have all their rookies, man. They all gonna have ups and downs, man.
