Colola Joic was eligible for a three-year $200 million extension with the Nuggets this summer, but he will not sign that according to ESPN. So by waiting an additional year, a Yokic is able to add a fourth year to the deal and an additional $77 million which he can sign next summer. Four year 277. Yes. So no Brunson style discount for the Nuggets will be coming. Uh he has a current deal with the Nuggets that takes him to a player option in the 2728 season if he decides he’d rather be a free agent in a few years. Uh 2027 just happens to be the summer the Lakers are aiming to have a max salary slot open. Just pointing that out. Is this just good business from Jokic or do you think he’s hinting at free agency?
