The Los Angeles Lakers have called the Chicago Bulls about Ayo Dosunmu? They better bring the BAG!🔴⚫

Welcome to another episode of Just Another Year’s Chicago Bulls. My name is Philip Charles Vanderhen the fourth and on this episode we’re going to be talking about a potential trade that the Los Angeles Lakers were looking at for IoTU on this episode. All right, and first and foremost, if you want to see Noah Essen ball out at the summer league this year, hit that like button, y’all. He’s looking pretty fun in practice, I’ll tell you that. And him and Matas, they’re getting they’re getting warmed up already. And do you care about summer league? That’s going to be my question at the beginning of this. I’m going to have two questions for you in this episode, but I want to know first and foremost, do you guys care about summer league? Does it move the needle for you? Do you do you pay attention at all? Just love to know. All right, so the Lakers want IO. So, you know, just it’s another slow day when it comes to to Bulls news in terms of the offseason and everything like that, but uh when it comes to Io Dumu, we did get a little bit of uh an update. the Los Angeles Lakers per Anthony Irwin um say that uh he’s the senior Lakers insider for clutch points. I wanted to make sure I gave him proper credit, but he reported that they’ve had preliminary talks about IO a trade for Iodumu. He said that right here. Uh he said the Lakers are showing interest in Matis uh Thyel Iodunu and Marcus Smart Panthony uh LA uh sources say Matis Thyel Marcus Smart uh blah blah blah blah blah blah uh you guys get the picture. Uh long story short they have shown preliminary interest in Iodumu. So going from there, I mean it what it it just depends to me, right? Like I don’t know about you guys, but can Vuch be packaged? I mean, I would love that. Now, if you’re talking that we can get rid of Vousvich because you guys want IO and we’re not moving off of IO unless that happens, then I like the idea of that. I really do. Um at least that would soften the blow a little bit because I because I do a really really really good piece on this young Bulls team. I don’t want to underestimate what he’s done to be like as he’s been by far one of our best draft picks in the last like five to six years. It’s been very very rough and he’s been one of the lone bright spots. Not to mention he’s a he’s a kid from the city, you know, he’s from here. So, it’s tough to want to trade IO, especially because he’s a complete player, a two-way player in a league that doesn’t have a whole lot of them. I mean, and but here’s the cold hard reality, you guys, is that either Kobe White or IO Dumu is likely going to be traded. Now, they don’t both have to be, but here’s the thing. Like, once you pay Kobe and you pay IO, and then you pay like a couple more of these guys that we’re going to obviously pay, you’re not going to have much more money. Like if you pay Kobe and Io and then let’s say you’re you’re going to pay Balis, you’re probably not going to get you’re not going to have enough cap room to get like a an alpha free agent and maybe not even a beta. So it’s like at that point is that is is this the team that you think is going to win you an NBA championship? because if they don’t have what it takes to win an NBA championship and it’s, you know, obviously we’re pay we’d be paying Kobe, IO, Matas, and Giddy, you know, the problem with paying those four players is not the quality of the players involved, it’s the positions they play because you want to you really want one of those four players that you’re paying um pretty good money to to at least be a center. Like you need a center. You need a guy holding it down in the middle. And the thing is like none of those players are. You got three guards and then you got Matas Buzzelis who’s really like a athletic wing. He’s really not even like a big like like in in a traditional sense, you know, you’d really like a sturdy big man in there in the middle that’s going to be holding it down, ripping down 15 boards and blocking two shots a night for you for the next, you know, 10 to 15 years ideally. So I and because of that, I think I feel like you can only really pay one of these players. I think that either Kobe White or IO Dumu is going to be traded because it’s going to be inevitable. I just feel like that’s what’s gonna happen with the roster construction on this team. And I’m torn between the two of them because as good as I is on both ends of the floor and he’s a playmaker as well. He also isn’t elite at anything. And there is one and there’s a thing about Kobe White, he’s elite at scoring and he’s an elite microwave ability. Like when he gets hot, he gets hot, baby. But that’s the thing. What do you value more? Do you value him getting hot and you know and raising up and all that stuff and and the scoring spurts or do you value the um you know everything else really? Do you value the playmaking the defense that IO brings? You know, and here’s the thing is IO can still score too. I’m as you could tell I’m actually I don’t want to say I’m torn anymore. I would lean towards keeping IO over Kobe personally and that’s because I think I believe more in a full complete NBA player. Now, it also depends on what they cost though. So, we’re going to have to see. Here’s the thing with the IO trade though. If it gets V out, you probably should do it because you’re not going to pay one of these players. Like I said, Kobe or IO most likely and you’re having a hard time getting V out. So, I would have to look at the Lakers roster to see like what kind of deal would come back for us and that would make sense. Um, I know that they’re messed up capwise. So, it’s it’ll it’d probably be tough. You know, they’ll probably have to trade us Luca, but I’m just kidding. Um, any Nico Harrison’s in the house? If you want to go work for LA so we can make that happen, that’d be great. That would be fantastic. But before we sign out here on this quick episode, I wanted to I want to know from you guys, would you trade IoU to the Lakers? We won’t talk about like what let’s say that the the trade was good, right? We’ll just ignore what the trade is for right now. Would you be okay if we traded him at all as long as the offer was fair? And I’ I’d love to know. Type Y for S. Type N for no. Make sure you let me know difference between that and if you care about the summer league. And uh if you guys want to talk semantics of it all, you know, I’m here for it. But that’ll do it for this episode of Justin of the Year Chicago Bulls. My name is Phil Charles Vanderhden IV and I’m seeing red more than ever, baby. Let’s

  1. The bulls will have more than enough money to sign coby, Ayo, and Giddey, and still have enough to sign Luka. Don't really have to trade anyone
    Just saying.

  2. They should take Matas and Coby too. LA would treat the great and they getting paid with a chance to win it all. I wish Chicago was a huge market so we can get Super stars, whenever. Too bad we live in a tiny market with zero charm.

  3. Denzel Valentine help led a team to the summer league championship. That’s all you really need to know. If you trade Vooch what kind of players do you need to take back for matching salaries.
