The 26-year-old played 14 games for the Milwaukee Bucks last season after being acquired from the New York Knicks at the trade deadline in which he averaged five points per game. He missed the last four weeks of the regular season due to thumb surgery, but returned for the playoffs. In the postseason, Sims played about 12 minutes per game in all five contests against the Indiana Pacers. Sims was the number 58 pick by the New York Knicks in the 2021 NBA draft.
