Knicks FOโ€™s Plan for Towns, Mitch & Yabusele Revealed!๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘€ #shorts

So, Knicks fans, now that we have our new coach, here’s something really interesting. According to Ian Begley, the Knicks front office actually valued Gershan Abuselli’s versatility off the bench behind a starting lineup of Carl Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson. And that means that there’s real internal support for a Towns Mitch front court with Yabuselli as that backup piece who can guard multiple spots and stretch the floor. So, this shows that the Knicks are not planning to start Deuce McBride in the rotation and they’re planning to start Mitchell Robinson instead. Look, we don’t know exactly what Mike Brown’s rotation will look like, but the fact that this was part of the Knicks thinking during free agency, that tells you everything about the kind of size, defense, and versatility they want around this core. So stay tuned. This team might not be done

Knicks fans, the front officeโ€™s vision for Karl-Anthony Towns, Mitchell Robinson and Guerschon Yabusele is becoming clearer after Ian Begleyโ€™s latest report.

Hereโ€™s what it means for the Knicks lineup and what could come next.

  1. Seems like the starting lineup has been revealedโ€ฆ are you on board with it? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿง

  2. Would prefer the bench to be McBride, Clarkson, Yabu, and Robinson and then any of the SF can play with those four.

  3. Don't be surprised if Yabusele starts because he can stretch the floor and shoot the 3.๐Ÿค”

  4. I think so far with the additions of Clarkson and Yabusele to the bench are great pickups. We needed depth. And also Hukporti will be a great back up Center.

  5. I thought that was the plan all along. We have two bad defenders. Surround them with all good long defenders. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ then run the Princeton offense with kat at the top, allows Brunson to dribble and bridges to cut. OG is one of the best corner shooters in the league and Mitch is one of the best offensive rebounders in the league.

  6. Iโ€™m not sure the Yabusele signing is a surefire indication of Mitch starting. Their big depth isnโ€™t any better than last year, when they had Precious, Huk and Sims (for 2/3 of the season).

Their guard depth hasnโ€™t changed much, so itโ€™s not like Deuce starting is off the table. I donโ€™t see that happening, Iโ€™m just saying reading anything into signing one big while losing others is pure internet speculation. The coaching change is a far bigger sign that lineups may change.

  7. I still wish they wouldve got a dead eye 3pt shooter like a donte was. Which was why i was hoping they wouldve traded up for kobe brea who would be on a cheap 2nd round contract. He was a vanderbilt aaron nesmith-like 3pt shooter in college

  8. Im not going to lie i dont like mitch with kat full time only because mitch health i would save mitch by having him back up towns. They guy the pick up is actually a better fit next to towns he spaces the floor but he physical in the paint on defense and offense he has the speed that mitch doesnt. Or they would have to keep hart in the lineup and get a back up sf they have options but i dont think its going to be karl and mitch together

  9. Need to trade Josh Hart for a bigger wing tbh, Heโ€™s too small at times and teams donโ€™t respect his shot. He also makes bone headed plays

  10. Knicks need a 2 way shooting guard that can shoot 3s high efficiency! Like they had with Divi!

  11. If mitch still on this team at the beginning of this next season I'm done with this team. That man is a liability, his defense doesn't get close compensate his lack of offense. On defense it's 5v5 but on offense it's 4v5.
