The call right there didn’t count because of the foul, but you can see that shooting stroke when he gets some space out there. Harper goes Twain cross and got blocked underneath. you as anybody here at summer league. He had 22 points in the first half a couple of nights ago for San Antonio. From the corner minutes, both teams playing impervious defense so far. Two of eight and one of five from the field respectively. Jones Garcia with the three ball. Stunting like his daddy. Dylan Harper hanging in the air and starts on the left side of the basket, but hangs in the air long enough to get that thing to the other side for Flag. If you want to impress somebody with your energy, Matt Cleveland is doing that right now. He’s been all over the place for the Mavericks on both ends of the floor, but particularly offensively. Jones Garcia, another bucket for him. He’s got nine and made it look easy. Nar pulls it out. Flag with the left this time. Great control with the 12 here in the second quarter so far. Here’s Bryant. Flag switches on to Harper. Harper draws the foul and the bucket. Stars down Nehart on the cross. Made a little bit of space. Got his own miss and scored the second one and rebounded by Dylan Harper. Harper on the fly steps through and got the layup. When you put the scenes, how you concentrate on your follow through when you’re doing it in live action, it’s a little bit harder. Flag on the lob. The flag bearer of a new generation in Dallas. Tough dime inside. Little uphill DHO to minutes. Nice pass back. Wonderful basketball by the Spurs. You’re a Hall of Famer there. Oh, on that team Jones Garcia had it blocked. on the drive and one. Count it. Jones Garcia against Empire. This could be a pretty good matchup. Snakes the screen. Jones Garcia inside. Count it and one. Backto back plays with Jordan Hall, but overall has played pretty well here. Jones got open off the 45 action and knocks down a long three. Not a lot of people so far to the first two days of this have played better. Oifo with the hammer punches it home. Nice spin move inside. Next year, especially with the new guys that we have, the guys that we brought back. Um, some guys that we got out of free agency. Uh, I think next year it’ll be fun and, you know, just hopefully everybody stay stays healthy and we’ll be able to, you know, show the league what we can do. What’s it been like for you learning from Dear Fox? Great great guard. So being able to being able to play alongside him, but also, you know, pick his brain on a lot of things cuz, you know, he’s been there, he’s seen it. So, uh, being able to pick his brain, especially this this early in my career, still has a lot left in the tank. Here’s Flag, the rook with a slick finish in traffic. Go screen by Flag. Jones Garcia picks him up. Flag punching it home. The one thing I can guarantee you, and I don’t know how it’s going to go for him offensively cuz he’s a little bit rusty. He’s going to guard and he gets a steal. There he is. Right there, he already had an incredible block early. Here’s Hall on the bounce. Sprays it to the corner. McClam knocks down the three ball and maybe that’ll been a great connector throughout their training camp and their practices. minutes, corner three is pure. Man, she’s done a fantastic job. Al remember a lot of the expansion teams started out in the NBA and what their early years look like with a slam and that’s noticeable immediately. Great way to get on the floor when you can guard people. Guarding Cooper Flag on that three and he laces it. That jumpers went back rotation. No side rotation. You couldn’t see the seams which meant that ball was spinning. Harper raises up. Pardon me, that was Nelson. Raises up. Back come the Mavericks trying to close this margin. Hall sprays it out to the wing for three. Near pulls. Got it. His first field goal of the afternoon comes Buck the bucket. Flag with the one dribble pull up. Got it. You can see it starting to happen. Dallas with some threequarter court pressure. Jones Garcia with a side step three. Butter domin came and impressed early after a couple games in summer league. They got shut down after offers came in from other teams and showtime room service for Cooper Blank. Even though we both acknowledge he played well in that game, he just couldn’t finish shots. That wasn’t the case today. Yeah. And actually today didn’t do the other things as much as the rest of the flag with 31 points, four rebounds to finish it off. And Dylan Harper making his summer league debut. Hey, what kind of grade would you give Dylan Harper? This team won. Dylan, we were patiently awaiting your summer league debut. How would you describe it? Win. I mean, I think I came out great. I mean, just trying to get my guys involved just trying to play the right way and just ultimately come out here and win as we did today. So, I feel like I had a good day. That was the first time you’ve played in 4 months. I know you were on the minutes restriction due to the groin. In 17 minutes, you were extremely efficient. What did you think of your shot selection and the way you were able to facilitate? I mean, just not forcing. I think that’s something coaches emphasize. We going to play together. We’re going to play as a team. And for me, just not trying to rush and do too much and just staying at that pace and just trying to get back to to when I was four months ago. So, there’s definitely coming out here. I just love playing with the guys. There was a lot of hype about this game in particular, one versus two. What was it like going against Cooper Flag? I mean, definitely great competition. I mean, the whole class, we’re a bunch of compet competitors. So, just going against him, he had a good game. I had a good game. I think overall, we just showcased what we could do to the whole basketball world. And then lastly, what excites you about starting your career with Carter Bryant? He was a force on defense today. I mean, everything. I mean, you see him out there, he going to do the little things without question. He going to go out there, guard one through five. He’s just going to be the best help. So, I mean once he gets rolling, I mean offensively, defensively is great. We going to be good. Thanks for the time, Dylan. Welcome to the league. Yes.
