pick up full court for 40 minutes. And that’s exactly what they did playing for 40 minutes against Cleveland the other night. Here the Pacers force a turnover, but Barnheiser gets it right back looking for it. Freeman and he got it stripped away. Thunder running. Mitchell turns the corner. Mitchell gets the first points of the night. Opportunities through energy, right? It’s they’re not staying still. They’re moving their bodies. actually played at a faster pace this regular season in playoffs than the Pacers did. It’s a great point you bring up there since maybe the early like 05 Pistons or something like that or maybe the Miami Heat. But like the way they did it and the way that they were so consistent every single game. They’re just in the right spot. It should look it should feel and look like a zone. Then the turnaround jumper, he’s got backto-back buckets. Obviously, they paid their guys. They’re going to keep them around. SGA, Jaylen Williams, Chef Hundred, the new $800 million club. Great. Wait, what? That’s one thing we give JT, he will do his homework. That is a great nugget. That is a true story. Yes, I’ll get into it here. And then Peter, now fast forward to last year, played for the GLeague A team as well as the Oscala. This is why we love summer league for opportunity like that for this young man to shine. Here’s Topic in the open court finishing. Mitchell loses it. Dennis created the turnover. Dennis nearly traveled. Murphy running the floor and throws it to Topic. Half a second to go. The shot won’t go quickly. It’s Barnheiser. Barnheiser will be a two-way player for the Thunder. One foot turnaround. Seeing how they’re going to fit with their team. Seeing a guy like Top Great pass. Topic whips it left side. Three ball good for Brooks Barnheiser who has eight points. You know, secondary break. Thunder selected. Barnheiser 44th overall. Leon from downtown. Gortman over to Brewer. Free ball. Everything is falling now for Oklahoma City. Second quarter. Thunder lead it 39 to 26. Portman spin on Ray. Jake Jennis. Courtman. A cannot miss. Brought the ball up just in this group right here. Yep. Oh, good pass. Toe pitch is a magician with the basketball and four points. Ray J Dennis gets it stripped away. Good defense by the Thunder. Brown corner. Mitchell three. No, but put up right and in. Malifi Leon forces yet another Indiana timeout. and the processes that Sam Preston and the front office are going through. They have all these young guys that they’re layering in that once these high salaries kick in. They’ll bring it into bar to Leon. Leon with three on the clock. Leon’s back door cut. Puts it up and Barnheiser beats the clock. He’s Barnheiser is having himself a half. He is six for six from the field. Indiana said, “No, we’re shutting that water off like some plumbers who didn’t pay their bill.” Plumbers want to shut off. Yes. Back to Topic. Mitchell fakes on the three. Mitchell the drive. Mitchell the take with the left hand and he gets his second bucket from the field. Your physicality and your energy. So, we need you today. When you do that and you do that uh as a professional, it allows the coach to put everyone in the best situation possible, then you’re going to really just be a a small uh detail player. Like we need that type of shooting. We need a lefty. There is the lefty. Ham Jones scores. The Thunder now have five players with at least eight points. Oh my god. Great ball. Count it. Chris Young Bloodood. He wanted the foul. Didn’t get the whistle. Putting Chet at the center. Well, he believed in something and didn’t look great right away. Oh, look at the steal by Leon. Turning defense into offense. They are relentless. 67-45. Leon. Look at this. The pressure has not been inked to a contract for next year yet. Leon backto back buckets and Malifi Leones putting together a playlist. by 20. Thunder still playing hard. Tow pitch looking for the open shooter. That’s Young Blood. Splash. If you actually watch him, what he’s doing, they he is not really even looking for his shot. Barheiser scores. Too little. Approaching the halfway mark at the third quarter. Cam Jones looking for a cutter. Turnover number 14 on the Pacers. Portman running the court. Courtman lefty laying goes 7550 the transition bucket playing with the pass kicking it up and just finished working on that handle. Murphy tries to turn the corner. Murphy throws it away. Nearly gets tipped up and in by the Thunder. Topic has it with seven on the shot clock. Working on Cam Brown. Pulls up for a rare three. Connects. You want a true point guard? We got Topic. you want length, we have so and so. Now we need X, you know, and that’s what’s interesting. And by the way, Braden Carlson, another two-way player, Dennis kicks it in the corner. Ashworth. Here comes Topic looking ahead. He saw Mitchell the entire time. What vision from Topic a clinic. How did he know? AJ Mitchell the finish. Thunder up big 66 lead. Nicola Topic joining Dennis Scott. He has put on an absolute clinic here. Chris Young blood bucket and the foul. He’ll get an opportunity for one more. Definitely showing training camp because one thing about Rick Carlile, if you earn his trust, you all work together. I think Nimhard proved that. Young blood from White Out Town. Here we go. Let’s look at this offensive movement for OKC. Just finishing drop off, kicking back out, doesn’t settle, makes the extra pass. There’s Cam Jones running the offense over to Peter up top. Little too high. Looking for Wheeler who was soaring in but quickly the other way. He can’t blink with Barnheiser. Barnheiser of his eight. He’s made eight of his 10 shots. He is just an absolute truck going towards that rack. Sam Jones out of Freeman. Been five guys that were selected in the lottery this year and he was picked last year. Murphy got deflected by Bheiser and look at the block coming up strong. That was Ward. Great defense and solid defense. Uh dude, he’s just been impressive today. 18 Indiana turnovers have resulted in 30 Oklahoma City points. Hold their starters with four minutes to go. Word man. Pretty move by Jay-Z and Portman. It’s just right in the notes. I mean, it’s just right there. I’m going ask you about the Scottsdale Community College artist tomorrow. We saw him. We got him. Hey, your guy Cesar Edwards is in the game. That’s a nice take by Courtman. Give him some love. You saw him at Oh, wow. He got that blocked Edwards to Brewer. Oh, he big. It was amazing his pace of play, his establishing himself um you know, really to just become that floor leader. By the way, the team in Germany was Lutenberg. Oh, Lutenberg tight. Well, that’ll do it here as Nicola Topic plays his second game at Vegas. He’s now got 16 assists in two games. Barnheiser had six steals in the

  1. Topic looks awesome and has an incredibly high basketball IQ.
Mitchell is still inconsistent but good.
    Barnhizer is a dawg.
Youngblood won’t get any run with the Thunder but he deserves a look on an NBA roster.

  2. I like what I see, great hustle on defense, points off turnovers and unselfish on offense, this is Thunder basketball!

  3. Youngblood hitting those 3’s. Barnhizer looking like Caruso. Topic great vision and didn’t turn it over as much. They all played good tonight though

  4. After Carlson and Barnhizer, we have 1 two-way contract left. It’s Youngblood v. Gortman v. Leon’s. Three men enter, one man leaves.

  5. Didn’t know if anybody noticed, but our 2 highest rated prospects that weren’t drafted but signed with the Thunder are 1) Payton Sandfort and 2) Viktor Lakhin. Both recovering from injury. After them, scouts had Youngblood in the top 100 prospects this draft.

  6. Barnhozer is averaging 6.5 steals in the 2 games

Topics playmaking is awesome and ajay Mitchell continues to get 5/5/15 at least every game

    Thunder up

  7. I know it is only two games, but, what's the chance Youngblood scores a Blue contract? Maybe sliding into a 2 way?
