So my immediate thoughts are is that if Boston’s able to get back Koozma Green and a first round draft pick from New Orleans in 2027 for recently acquired Anthony Simons, I wouldn’t blink. I wouldn’t waste any time. I would make this trade as soon as possible because it seems like Anthony Simons might not even actually play for the Celtics since acquiring him this off seasonason. The whole point of the trades that they made was to cut salary, was to get under the second apron. And truthfully speaking, I don’t think Anthony Simons is in the plans for the long term. So Boston’s going to look very different next year. They might even take a step back. Maybe they won’t even make the playoffs, whatever the case may be. But if they want to go out there and sort of retool/rebuild for the season, wait for Tatum to come back from his injury, then kind of go full force, you know, after that, I think getting back Kyle Kosma, who could probably benefit from a change of scenery the most. AJ Green, really solid player to add to the group, as well as that first round draft pick, that could be a very good first round draft pick. sort of how this Pelicans team is built, how good the Western Conference is, like in 2027, that could be a really good pick. So, if I’m the Celtics, I would bet on Koozma bouncing back, and if it doesn’t, at the very least, you’re turning Anthony Simons into a first round draft pick that could deem to be very valuable. Now, from the Bucks perspective, Anthony Simons is a pretty young player. Like, maybe if he were to go to Milwaukee, he could be a pretty solid player alongside Giannis, recently acquired Miles Turner, etc. And also too, this Bucks front office is facing a lot of pressure um with the Giannis situation because if it don’t make him happy, if they don’t uh, you know, do anything to get this team back to the playoffs and more of a threat in the Eastern Conference, Giannis could leave. He could demand a trade, whatever the case may be. So, the pressure is on and Kuzzma was a disaster last year. So, why not sort of be desperate here and get Anthony Simons and hope that he can be a good fit next to Giannis for the foreseeable future. But, if I had to pick a winner of this deal, I’m going to go with the Boston Celtics. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
