and he’s a guy that’s going to be in the rotation for Toronto. I think it’s exciting to see this. That battle is 77 in red and he controls the opening tap as Castleton wins it. The Raptors, you know, the pedigree is one thing. What they did on the floor Friday is another. They beat the Bulls 116- 72 and they’re off to a hot start again as Battle strokes a three. A side step. He’s got a great shot fake and he gets that hand in the ball and nails it. And they’re really guarding out on the perimeter. But Noah Penda gets two to start things off for the Magic. That’s the one part of his game he’s got to improve. Here comes Richardson loping lefty out to to Silva for three. Yeah, great pass. Good ball movement there. He may not be as tall as dad and jump like dad, but he got a lot of those jeans as well. To Silva making string music. He had one from the opposite corner. Now one from this one and force you to call that every time if you’re going to call it cuz I am guarding J3. Tristan D Silva is blistering. He’s got three. Jamal Shed is the type of guy where you need to be able to go both ways. If he can sit on one of your hands, that is not going to go well for you. Absolutely. Jamal Shed, he got his first two points against the Magic when he was playing for the Timberwolves back in the 22 23 season. Richardson attacks and scores through contact. He can get to the rim. He can turn both hips. He’s not. They are obviously different players, but what do you know about their personalities and how similar those are? As Mo throws it down with two hands. Well, with that confidence uh probably comes from both because he’s got it. And buries the three. Chucky’s a heck of a player. Played at Wisconsin and at Louisville. I’m playing with so much passion. Uh and I know the game of basketball. I watch a lot of film. Uh I know my guys. I know, you know, he’s always going to take care of his players. I love him. Uh, you know, he helped me get to where I am right now. So, I I appreciate him so much. Couldn’t be without him. You had the best getting Jacobe. They got Jameson in battle. We got Chon. We got Mbo. We had a great draft. Oh, yeah. I forgot my B was first in the second round, right? Yeah, absolutely. Great. Don’t forget about my boy. Oh, no. No. I think they they kind of know where each other’s supposed to be and that certainly helps with the rotations and things like that cuz they’re well drilled. And you see Shamsh who’s trying to they can figure it out with him and extremely physical. He’s had some bad whistles against him too. There’s no appendis game right there. Right there he did. That’s one of the reasons he got drafted to the basket and play face enough. Took his time on that move. Sh with that low gather on the kick. Hands up with Walter finds Battle. He’s a sharpshooter. Right back to Jacobe Walter for three. Good ball movement on that possession. That’s the possession of the day right there. I know. D Silva takes it away. Numbers for Orlando. Dilva in the lane. Gets two and a chance at three. And that’s exactly what you want if you’re the magic bench. Silva went down. Richardson turns the corner. gives it up to Kelly who’s stuck in the air. Thompson was the safety valve. Ends up with Richardson and he rattles in a three. Constantly on the break and they hit the wings more than they hit over the top, but he became a really good transition shooter. Gets his feet set. That’s what I love about Jason’s shooting. Thompson cleaned up by Penda. He had one of the coolest dogs I’ve ever seen in the Final Four. The one with the shot where he looked like Air Jordan. Yeah, he had a pretty nice one the other day in game one. No, kind of uncoiled and let it rip. Sometimes I’m busy during the game just a little bit. It’s cool to talk with Anthony Parker though and the magic what they’re building here as Wendell Moore knocks down a tray. Makes it a four-point Orlando lead against Crutcher Williams tried to kick it out. Lawson with the deflection. Moore ends up with it. He’s triple teamed and Jamal Sch says, “Give me that.” Ahead to Walter like a receiver ahead of the pack for the jam. a guy maybe who doesn’t have the measurables that you’re looking for as Murray Boils with a rejection, but he’s just a winner. He’s just a good basketball player and he’s he’s going to be a leader for them. How about Murray Boils? The block on one end and the follow stuff on the other. Others, you he missed some shots, but he never stopped shooting. And he talked about his hands. You know, he liked the defense, but he loved his defensive hands. And I with the steal and the score, that is a nice play for Shay. Magic turnovers. Shed gets inside, can’t score high off glass. Murray Boils on the cleanup and and they recognize it. Kelly with another turnover. Murray Boils deflected it. AJ Lawson lays it in and one off the rim. Dilva the rebound. Heburn chasing him down. This is unbelievable. Another steal again. It’s Lawson climbing the ladder. Three balls off the mark from Aikens. Rebound to Dilva. Moore tries it. He buries it. Much needed three. Engaging and everybody else, but he got better yesterday. I didn’t think there’s any question about that. Take away Dilva. He puts it in again. 18 points for Tristan Dilva. He’s got some serious pop. Bobo. No. [Music] He wants to get to his shot. He does and drills it. To come in here, I know what it felt like to me, but then come in here, you got all these guys. Don’t that feel like you I’m just proud, you know, I’m proud of our program and uh proud of these guys for obviously this test of this 2K 26 summer league. Shed with five to shoot, pulls it back, rips it, hits it. Nice. Shot is so much quicker. He said he’d have kept his drive going, attacked you with his shoulders and drove it. And now he knows they go under like that, he’s got to be able to get to the step back, make that three. Richardson, that’ll count. It’s an and one on the continuation for Jace Richardson. 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists, a block, a steal, and shoot 50% or better. Wendell Moore on the leak out behind the defense for two. And this is a two-point game with a minute to play. Now in college, you’d be saying, “We don’t need a three. We don’t need a three. You want to get a great look. Penda just trying to back his man down. Mo pulled the chair on him. Penda is shaken up on the other side and Lawson’s fouled. Lawson eight for 11 at the stripe today. Now two possession game points and they need him fast. Dilva picked up the dribble. 30 seconds to play, 10 to shoot. Richardson pounded by Walter. That’s the story of the game. The shot anyway going right. Good play by Richardson. That was excellent defense. All right, the shot clock is dark. Richardson gives the foul, but but that’s but that’s still pretty good. A jump from about half court. Yeah, he take up from the foul line, but Jay’s got a little different game and it’s a very efficient effect. Dilva made his first three threes. He’s missed his last three. He pops free. More finds him off balance. Missed the shot. Shed with the rebound trying to chase him down for the foul. They’re not going to get him.
