Raptors teammates crash Collin Murray-Boyles’ first post-game interview after SL debut

Was it worth the wait? Of course it is. Um, just to have a chance to be on the court. Uh, my first I guess NBA feel um is amazing. Um, that was probably my since my my hamstring. Now it’s probably my first time going in about it’s been a minute, probably a month and a half. So, just to get back out there, get the feel out there again. It’s amazing. And I’m glad to do it with these guys. They put a lot of energy into me. Um, they get them first jitter out really fast. So just thankful to be here and and very excited for what’s to come. You had a couple of sequences there, the block shot, the put back, and then the offensive rebound uh down the end, you know. Is that sort of where you can change games? Yeah, 100%. Just trying to do as many little things as possible to to get my team in a better position to win. Um we even though we all had really good highlights and really good plays down the stretch, um that we needed from everybody and that’s something that I have to do. something that I owe to them, owe to my coaches and owe to everybody, everybody watching, especially the Raptors uh fan base for sure. How would you be working on three? I I know today you had, you know, Yeah, it’s it’s okay. Everybody, you’re not going to make every three, but obviously having the confidence to shoot the ball is something I’ve been working on. Um I was sick that that one didn’t go or that one didn’t count when I they had my foot out, but you know, it’s still it’s still Come on, M. Get out. Get out, M. Get out, M. Get out. man, I’m here. But yeah, just man, but yeah, you know, just having the confidence to shoot it regardless of if I’m missing. Just keep going. Have that same confidence that I had coming into the game. What’s it like playing with a shoot for a point guard like Jamal? Bro, what is going on, bro? Uh, no, seriously. Um, what um only been a short while. What have you learned about uh Alch? Uh, he he’s grown exponentially. I hear from but what I’m sorry but they they keep interrupting but okay but going on he’s improved tremendously um even since when I first met him to to now he’s grew he’s grew a lot his hands have gotten better he’s been learning and he’s actually been open to listen so if he keeps that going he’ll be he’ll be really good for us for sure how tight is this group man you guys you guys seem insufferable like like what’s going on here you have no choice I mean I I really know, bro. But, you know, uh get to learn to love everybody around me. Obviously, they want the best for us, you know. So, just having the same goals. We We all know we want to get to we want to get to the playoffs. We want to win the championship. So, we all we all know what we want and we a young team, especially going into this upcoming season. So, just keep Oh my god. Just keeping my head high, you know, and having that energy for the team so we can finish out strong is is my goal. Oh, we ain’t we ain’t doing that. Nah, R.J. R.J. already talking about some R.J. already talking about some we going to be nice to the rooks or what? I said what? Hey, that tripping. But nah, man. I ain’t we ain’t we ain’t getting none of that yet. Pray it ain’t too bad. But I mean, it depends on energy this group plays with. Is it is it uh like a level above what you’re used to? Takes some adjusting for you? Like I said, that was my first that was my first time running with them. Um, I haven’t I’ve been I’ve I’ve been straight rehabbing, trying to get better, trying to get to be back on the court. So, that’s my first time really getting a feel of playing with them on the defensive end. And I love it. I love the intensity. The energy is is contagious and and that’s what helps any team on both ends. When did you strain your hamstring? Um, I strained it about a month ago. Okay. Yeah. So, this is your first live action. Yeah. Thank you. All right. Thank you.
