The BEST Summer League Team EVER! #shorts

What happened to each of the stars from the greatest summer league roster ever? The 2017 Lakers put together one of the best squads in summer ball history, including seven current NBA players. Where are they now? Lonzo Bal, the number two overall pick, who put up multiple summer league triple doubles, nearly had to retire from knee injuries that kept him out of back-to-back seasons. He made his comeback this year and was recently traded to the Cavs. Brendan Ingram played in just one game for the Summer Lake show. He’s since become an all-star for the Pelicans and was recently traded to the Raptors earlier this year. Kyle Kosma was initially praised as a better draft pick than Jason Tatum based on his summer league performances. While that hasn’t aged well necessarily, he did win a championship with the Lakers in 2020 and has put up solid numbers on Bad Wizards and a playoff Bucks team. Alex Caruso remains a tenacious defender and hustle guy and recently won a championship in OKC. Iika Zubuck just put up the best season of his career for the Clippers, earning all defensive team honors. Josh Hart continues to be the same hustle player for the Knicks as he was in LA. And if this team wasn’t stacked enough, Thomas Bryant was also on this roster. He won a championship with the Nuggets and has recently made the finals as the Pacers backup
