Caris Levert To Be The Backup PG For The Pistons?

Caris Levert To Be The Backup PG For The Pistons?

I don’t really know how much of a of a facilitator he actually is and I don’t know how much I actually want him like running the offense in a given game. So, the big thing is like, you know, Kade’s going to probably be in like, you know, like 30 plus minutes a night and then Ivy’s probably going to be staggering. They’re probably going to be on the court for the majority of the game. So, realistically, you’re going to need someone for, you know, 10, 15, maybe 20 minutes to give you quality playmaking, handle the basketball. And that’s where I do think that you could, you know, look at some potential options at some point later in the season because if there is anything, you know, that we’ve seen throughout this league and if there was anything consistent about the teams that made it deep into the playoffs and, you know, even won the championship, it’s having quality, you know, depth and point guard play, but also multiple guys who can pass the ball and, you know, who can play X

  1. I think too many times they had a lead and went to the bench for scoring when you expect to go score for score in those periods of the game and they were being outscored and Levert is an easy 10pt – 15pt player in those 12 – 18 minutes, this is a plus move, getting a player that is needed for what they didn't have.

  2. We have young wings and guards. I would have preferred to give them some run and search out a potential starting big plus a serviceable bench big. We've only got 2 bigs. B-ball Paul is trash!

  3. Caris is stamped. He has excellent vision and handle for someone who is a wing. A shift like this will revive his career and make him useful.
