I’ll at least say this about uh Young Hansen. It’s it’s provided if if they had taken oh I don’t know let’s whoever went 16 I guess who went 17 in the draft. If you took the the 17th or 18th pick you took the center was there was a center out of Georgetown. Yeah. No one would give two S’s about this summer league game. Right. So, I at least say that in the in the depths of summer when there’s nothing else going on and the Blazers aren’t going to be any good, at least it gives you like a little oh, at least the it’s it’s a little something for you to watch and pay attention to and be like, it’s a fun story. It adds some whimsy to your sports summer. At least if you know the Blazers aren’t trying to win. At least they are drafting players now to try to involve and excite other countries so that when they sell the team, they’re worth more. They’re at least farming. Yeah, they’re farming clicks in China. And that’s wonderful. Even if you don’t think they want to win, even if you don’t think they actually watch two years because they obviously didn’t watch last year’s summer league. At least you can say behind closed doors, they’re really hoping that China backs this team so they can make more money in the sale. They’re going to do big digital numbers. It’s exciting that the Blazers have that. I will say that’s what I think’s going on. The Blazer uh the Blazer merch in uh in China will be selling uh quite well. Yeah, you got you got a billion people over there that are going to be losing their minds. I think there’s only been like what three or four Chinese players to ever even play over here. Yeah, they’ve all they’ve all obviously been great. Well, I think the only one uh Yaoing other than that I don’t think there’s Yeah, there was that the guy that was drafted I think like sixth by the Bucks EG Leon sucked and he was terrible. Yeah, he was he was awful. But, you know, hey, hey, the younger he’s going to he’s going to break the trend. It’s exciting. You just you just tune in Monday when we talk when we do a detailed breakdown. Well, Danny flew down. Yeah. Like he I think he goes every year, doesn’t he? Yes. It goes down to summer. I just can’t I can’t imagine. I went to one. It’s like going to spring training, right? Is it kind of kind of spring training? Or is it like going to NFL like mini camp? Ot I love spring training because you’re down there, it’s in the sun, you have some beers. I mean, it’s in Vegas. It’s no it what it is like is the combine in terms of what it what it is like is really like the NFL combine. The the the actual flow of things doesn’t really matter whether you’re in the seats or watching it on TV in Vegas doesn’t really matter in terms of the game action. What you’re there for theoretically hypothetically is the networking and people do a lot of that the combine in high school recruiting that used to be the opening in the Elite 11 at Nike headquarters. you’d run into everybody and you could talk to everybody about all the stuff that was going on. That’s what it’s like and that’s the reason you go is it can potentially set the table and that’s why you get guys like you know the Zack Lows, the the Woes that go and well not anymore but that go and they collect their information. I am not Zach Low. We went to one they sent us to summer league once for Greg Odin and I wanted to put my head in an oven. That was like one of the worst I just I can’t do it. It’s bad ball. It’s in like crowded gyms and I I really struggle with the everyone’s suckling at the power teat. I find those things and maybe this is why I’m I’m not Stephen A. Smith or you know the the the climbers of the world, but when all the media gets together and they all have to kiss the ass of who, you know, whether it’s Danny A or or whatever. Yeah, I have I do not have that ability. It is not in me to play the game and like just you know do the oh let’s let’s get to know each other and form this relationship and by relationship uh you give me information uh that I need and then I will do your bidding and tell my listeners whatever the hell you want me to tell the Adam Sheper thing. I I cannot do that. It it would break my brain.
