They still need more scoring and better spacing though and Lori Markin would provide both while forming a laughably stingy and wholly disruptive defensive tandem with Donovan Klingan, Denny Ovida and Tummani Kamara. So there’s been a lot of speculation this offseason about the Utah Jazz and what they could be doing with their roster. We saw John Collins get traded a couple days ago. Now I think that’s some other players to keep an eye on. Could be Walker Kesler. uh could be Colin Ston, but it could also be in this case Lori Markin. In my personal opinion, their biggest trade asset. Now, Portland’s intriguing because they of course bought out DeAndre Eaton sort of randomly a couple weeks ago now or a couple days ago now. He of course went to the Lakers and they have a bit of a hole in their front court. But, uh yeah, the Blazers are sort of a weird team to me because they have someone like Jeremy Grant who’s expensive, probably not worth the money and as I mentioned before, they just sort of bought out DeAndre Aton. So, what’s kind of the plan moving forward? Well, I think if someone like Lori Markin is being actively shopped, Portland has to get in there and kind of see what the asking price is. I’m not too sure if Drew Holiday is going to stay on the team for the long term, but also point towards him starting there, I guess, and what Scoot Henderson and with some other players on this Trailblazers roster. I think Flory Marketing could actually be a pretty cool player uh to add to the group, sort of unlike DeAndre Aton, for example. He adds a little bit more spacing to this team. He’s a really solid offensive player and if you were to go to this group in Portland, he kind of adds a bit of a punch to their offense while still playing some really solid defense like as alluded to in this article. Uh playing alongside Donovan Klingan, Denny Ovida, and Tummani Kamara. That’s a really good defensive team as well while still upgrading at the offensive position.
