Rui Hachimura gave Vincent a 2028 first round pick swap and a 2032 second round draft pick. So in my personal opinion, this would actually be a pretty solid trade uh for both teams to make. Now from the Lakers perspective to get a really good 3 and D wing in the form of DeAndre Hunter. Uh DeAndre Hunter can actually be the type of player that can uh really dominate without having to have the ball in his hands too often. So I think playing behind players like LeBron James, Luca Donic, now DeAndre Eaton, even Austin Reeds for that matter, I think DeAndre DeAndre Hunter and more of like a third or fourth option offensively speaking, uh can still be pretty effective while also playing some pretty good defense on that side of the basketball as well. So, he’s a lengthy wing, can put up probably between 15 and maybe 19 points on this Lakers roster, provides some good secondary scoring, and most importantly, he brings a defensive element to this group uh that isn’t lacking right now, but with DeAndre Eaton now in the fold and Luca Donish, two players that maybe aren’t the greatest defensively speaking, I think the addition of DeAndre Hunter makes a lot of sense in my personal opinion. Now, from the Cavaliers perspective, it’s a pretty good hall as well, getting back some good young talent in the form of Ry Hatchima. That’s a pretty good addition to the front court of this roster. He think Vince is a good pro as well. That first round pick swap in 2028, for example, if LeBron James is a part of the team uh either in free agency or he is traded. Is there a chance that the team is a lottery team at that point? It’s very possible. So, this is one of those trades that actually does make quite a bit of sense for both sides. I think the Lakers get a lot better in my opinion uh more so compared to the Cavs. But what the Lakers would be doing here is giving up a lot of their trade capital that they could potentially package for a bigger player than DeAndre Hunter uh in the situation. But regardless, I think the winner of this deal would be the Los Angeles Lakers. But as always, leave your thoughts.
