Atlanta Hawks’ Nikola Đurišić After Summer League Win Over Rockets

It’s noticeable how each game you’ve just got kind of gotten better, become better. Just how does it feel confidence-wise just getting great? Honestly, I feel like the more we play as a team, like the better chemistry we have, you know, like we start the game bad, you know, no defense, no nothing, but eventually like we play good. For sure. You had that poster. I forget who the defender was. You had that poster that dunk. Just what is it like getting up and getting one over on something? Great. No, it’s great. Definitely. No, it feels great. Feels amazing to get like h back a little bit. So, did you know they were going to they were going to bite on that pump fake yesterday? Oh, yeah. I knew it. Yeah, that’s why I did it. I knew it. Yeah. End of game. Yeah, they up three. No threes. Plus, I heard their coach say the call. It worked. Uh Brian was talking about how you were consistently able to get into the get into the paint beating your guy. Like is that something you know that you can do and then take advantage of and kind of play off of that? Is that basically what you’re trying to do when you’re operating? Try to you know consistently break the paint. I mean I mean that whole like honesty like painted is finishing you know like back back home in Europe I would take four guys but here is like a different story you know and more athletic than me bigger taller so some days I can’t finish over there like sometimes I would stop pass you know like some days I cannot stop because I’m going too fast so yeah I’ll have a turnover. It seems like you really like that kind of turnaround fade fade away jumper. just how often did you kind of work that into your repertoire? So, it’s kind of like one of the skills that you go to. I would say it’s the same as the driving. Soon they started playing basketball, I like did that move, you know, I felt like the best shot. I can shoot the three also. Like I feel like the two when I shoot it, when I make it, it feels better when I make it when I make a three. So, not all the coaches like that shot, but like when it goes in, it’s good. Yeah, I asked Jack about who was like the voice besides coach to kind of keep you guys in it and know that you still had a game and he mentioned Kobe. Just what has it been like having his leadership and having his voice this there with the team? Get out, bro. Get out, bro. I mean, Kobe’s been here the longest, you know, so he know he knows how this works and everything. So, he’s a real leader, you know. Even if he’s if he stop if he’s not playing good, he like cheer for us and you know we like lift him up. So he’s great. I love playing with him. Cool. Thank you.
