If you guys didn’t know, Miles Turner recently left the Indiana Pacers cuz they let him walk and he signed with the division rival Milwaukee Bucks on a four-year deal. And I just feel like for the Pacers, it’s a little embarrassing as an organization. Like, you’re telling me you couldn’t just spend a little bit of extra money, not even to get your starting center back from a playoff run that, yeah, he didn’t play amazing in the finals, but you wouldn’t be in the NBA finals without him. You were one game away from winning the NBA championship, but they let him walk. And today, the Pacers signed Jay Huff, who will probably start for them at center. So basically, they let their starting center from an NBA Finals playoff run just walk. And they brought in Jay Huff, who was a lot cheaper, yes, but he has not proven that he could be a starting caliber center. Maybe I’m crazy though. But I just think this is embarrassing.

  1. He’s not that good dude. Everyone is underestimating the value Haliburton had on Turner this year. Turner is not on Hali’s timeline and what value is he really bringing next year without his all-world PG. Time for change. Give the young guys a chance to find their way while Hali is out and be ready the following year.

  2. well the cap space could be used for nembhard contract, who is more talented in both ends locking the star player. if Pacers could tank and rest after nba final in 2026 and draft a nba ready center with good potential, 2027 could be Pacers year, 2026
