It's weird how 7 footers are way more talented than they use to be. I think it's mostly due to what is expected outta them has changed so the way they are trained is way different. Listening to a lot of old players like Shaq and Barkley and many others say they wouldn't practice or really work out after being in the league for a while then seeing the stars of today not slowing down a bit is pure evidence that everyone is evolving and nobody wants to be left behind or be in a one dimensional box

It was never that 7 footers couldn't do this, and if you've watched enough basketball history you know there have already been 7 footers doing these sorts of things when needed, but it's actually about what 7 footers can do that 6 footers can't, and that is fading away from the game. You don't need 5 people on the court with the same abilities.
