Indiana Pacers – Taelon Peter may wind up being the first contributor drafted in the 50s in decades!
Peter I really like I think he looks really good. I did not know he was that athletic and I didn’t know he existed until the the Pacers took him in the 50s of the NBA draft a couple of weeks ago. Now I know who he is. He was a two-time state champion in Arkansas in the high jump. I thought he was just a shooter. Just a guy who was a good shooter. This is a better basketball player than that. Ryan Carr, who who’s kind of the director of scouting and has been for a long time with the Indiana Pacers, his son, I think both of them are student managers at Liberty where Talon Peter played. And and so they were like, “Dad, this guy can play. I don’t know a lot, but I know this guy can play.” So Ryan Carr looked and said, “Hey, that guy can play.” And look here, he can play. So, I I like the the thought of Talon Peter being some kind of a contributor with the Indiana Pacers moving forward.
Taelon Peter looks like a guy who can contribute for the Pacers after many years of getting nothing out of the many draft picks the Pacers have used after the 5s0th pick.

Agree with you 100%, Kent! His athleticism is readily apparent…he’s deceptively quick and obviously can jump. But, his passing ability and defensive play can’t be overlooked either! Don’t the Pacers have another 2-way contract still available?
Another diamond in the rough go pacers
Filthy poster dunk by Furphy will remain in our thoughts to block out the tragedy of game 7. Thanks Johnny Thunder from Down Under!!!!!
