Sacramento Kings vs Chicago Bulls LIVE ON ESPN 4K | NBA 2K26 Summer League | NBA LIVE | NBA TODAY
Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat. Hey, Heat. Heat. Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat. Hey, Heat. Heat. Heat. Chicago Bulls. Welcome to the pavilion here on the campus of UNLV. Chris Miles here with the former Allstar Steve Smith. And when we talk about the players that we’re seeing on the court today, they hope to one day have your accolades in your career. That includes the 12th pick in this year’s draft, Noah Asen, who we saw in his debut. Get to see him again. You know, I’m I’m glad we’re getting a chance to get a second look at him. And obviously looking two for seven, didn’t get a lot of opportunities far as size-wise. I remember coming in, I was about his size far as you know, skinny. I mean, the one thing about him is he’s 6’8, but he has a 92 standing reach, so he can cover a lot of ground. He’s played some basketball overseas, but what I love about him, man, he’s kind of new to the game of basketball, but all the coaches talked to me about he loves attention to detail. He asked a lot of questions. So, I’m looking forward today for him to be a little bit more aggressive on the offensive end. Yeah. The 18-year-old in the draft, the third youngest player in this draft, Nick Clifford, drafted at 23 years old, also a first round pick for the Sacramento Kings. More ready rock when you saw him on the floor in his debut. 16 of those 17 points coming in the second half. Got more comfortable in his debut. Physically, he’s ready. I love his size. And watch the plays he made attacking the rim. Obviously playing through contact, the skill set to handle the basketball fundamentally sound. Nice little touch, athletic, and on the other hand, we have show did a really nice job defensively communicating and also being able to point out and help guys with his talking and being able to be physical on the ball. Well, the French Revolution continues in the NBA. Maxim Renault, the second round pick for the Kings. 16 points in his debut, but he got off to a hot start in the game the other night. He did. I What I love about him is uh he’s an inside out guy. Everybody talked about his shooting ability, but let’s not forget in college he averaged 20, but also close to 11 rebounds, 21 double doubles. He set a Stanford single season record also passing one of the guys I know, Adam Keefe. What I love about him is he has a big time motor and he got out to big time start versus the Magic Thursday. All right, we get you ready with the starting lineups. We have to mention that Modis Bisellis is out for this game. uh played yesterday. Smitty, secondyear player for the Bulls. Can’t determine yet if he’s graduated from summer league action or just a day. And I think he’s graduated. I mean, I think the Bulls understand um more importantly, he’ll have him probably working out, guys, some coaches working him out when they have days off, but I think he’s done uh not hurt, wants the fans to know that. Just get a chance to get some rest. And also on the floor in the starting lineup for the Kings, Devin Carter, son of Anthony Carter, first round pick last year for the Kings. Didn’t have the greatest start to his second summer league in his first game this year. No, he didn’t. But we know what he brings. Intensity, defense, hustle. Just got to get a chance to get his shot going. Uh didn’t look good yesterday, but we know what he can do. We know he can play. Number 22 for the Kings. One to watch out for for a bounceback effort and the first bounce of the game will go in favor of the Sacramento Kings. And there it is. Carter taking the ball out. A little zone. A little 3-2 zone. That’s a rarity in the NBA. Makes the inside soft. Clifford. A dangerous pass to Jones defended behind Sing out the top. Jones the deep three nailing it to start off. Shot clock running down. He didn’t panic at all. Nice jab. Got himself room and able to knock that one down. Freeman Liberty typically pulls from there. Almost turned it over. Young to S. Steps out of bounds. Check it out again. Mason Jones getting the scoring started. Your GLeague Finals MVP. 26 years old. The vet move. The jab was size hard. Defender stuck in sand and then he got a chance to knock it down. on a three-point shot for the Sacramento Kings. Carter trying to get the dribble handoff to Isaac Jones knocked out of bounds. So, of course, looking at the head coach for the Chicago Bulls, Billy Donovan the third. So, we talked to Billy Donovan, his dad, yesterday. So proud of his son coaching. Nick Clifford. His dudes, he’s been watching film and you can just see he was smiling with just the pride of a father get a chance to watch his son. Nick Clifford getting his first bucket. Kings with a five nothing advantage. The nice pass inside crashing the glass. Aggressive here in the start. He looks good. I mean, right now he’s he’s into this game. I like the way he’s playing. Bulls now in manto-man defense. A different look. Clifford to Reo. Reo. No. Bueno. Noah with a nice rebound. A nice run. Singate on the glass there, but it’s Young that looks like he’s going to the charity strike. So, Nick Clifford, we saw him off to a slow start the last time feeling comfortable off the rip here. That’s a big time two guard play. Just bump, then able to spin. And there’s a nice little bucket as you can see from the Bulls. Got fouled so he got himself to the free throw line. Jir Young gets that one to fall. He had three assists on Friday. Remember the turnovers for Chicago? They had 33 of those. So, no one else had more than three assists. Led the team in that category. You hope for better ball movement from them in this second game of summer league. And it looks like the Bulls are in a fullcourt press. Reo looking to take advantage. No. A sing crashing the glass again. He’s got four rebounds in the first 2 and 1/2 minutes. Carter going the other way. Reo attacking. Denied by Sing. I like that by Noah. He’s all over the place. You can see teammates is applauding. That’s great effort. We talked about the rebounds early in this game. Watch the hustle. So he comes over 92 wings. Man, you ain’t got that one. He also had three steals and a block in his debut yesterday. Jones on Pereira. Perr with a good contest, forcing a miss, but Carter like a defensive back with the steal. Jones to R. No. No. Point blank range. Rebound number five for Sing. The Bulls got us. They can’t turn the basketball over. Almost an and one for Freeman Liberty. Number five. So the Kings head coach deepish Mystery elevated to assistant coach and player development. Join the Kings as a video coordinator in 2023. The five seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. Begin his career with the Phoenix Suns. So one of those guys, great opportunity here. worked his way up. Not for sure. I mean, we’re we’re looking at players and we’re talking about players, but coaches are getting evaluated, referees are getting evaluated. Just a beautiful time in the summer for the NBA for all these 30 teams to get a chance to watch these organizations. So, the Bulls take the 65 lead. Remember, the Kings scored the first two buckets of the game. Nick Clifford running the point. looking inside the ball deflected right now. Gets it back for his first bucket. He didn’t go up like that earlier. He missed a little bunny and he said, “Let me go up here and go up strong and being able to send a message.” Freeman Liberty the jelly. No to also known. Isaac Jones gets the rebound and pushes it up the floor. The versatility from the big man. Carter wide open cashes that out and after struggling to shoot the ball the last time out. Good to see him find his rhythm. Yeah, he needed that one. Young right back at you. So, taking a look back, watch Reo in position. Stays there. Go get it. You got to love these shooters. Rams. And we get another bucket on the other end. Guess who, Smitty? The rookie certainly looking better in the offset today. Can’t judge him just on one game. is just watching right now. Comes off this screen, jumps up, and yes, play through contact. So, some of the comps we’ve heard about his game as he develops. Pascal Siakum is the one, the fools that really like to hear that one as he misses a free throw, but has four points, five rebounds, and a block the first four minutes. Carter at a sing and beats him to the bucket. Carter backto back buckets. Yes. start talking compared to a champion in an all that’s pretty good. Nice pays it off. The pass from Young Herrera Herrera high energy guy plays around the rim. Carter three in a row. So hot he could heat the sun up 15- 10. Young ran out of real estate. A singer short Carter so aggressive hitting the glass. Nice pump fake. Clifford believe Jones. That’s the type of basketball you want to watch. Nick Clifford first of all ran the floor. Pump fake. Drove it. Got his teammate a foul. Watch Devin Carter. Chris Miles leave it. Pulling it from Sacramento. It’s a Las Vegas. You waited a lifetime for this moment. Now it’s time to celebrate the official collection. The Oklahoma City Thunder NBA champions. Available now at NBA Store. A fanatics experience. Most of his rookie season with a shoulder injury. Was for 14 in his first game in the summer league the other night. Three for three, two for two from long range. Eight points here in the first quarter. Came out man on a mission. He did. We know he’s going to play extremely hard. Love the way he played at the end of the season after he came off injury. And you look today struggled yesterday, but three for three, eight points. Big time bounce back for Devin Carter. I mean, the 13th pick in the draft. When you draft someone in the lottery, you hope and you expect them to contribute in their rookie season. So, really great to see him come out and have this start in this game. Yeah, you love it because he’s a guy that’s going to always come out and compete defensively. Oh, you hear the crowd, guess what that means. Our guy has checked into the game. Kamora, you see him trying to get the assist. And that is what he does. A sing on the glass. Hop. No. Clifford. Good rebound. Clifford. The two rookies. Three rookies working. Reo can do that. Eight nothing run for the Kings. Freeman Liberty. Can’t stop the run. Jones pushing it. Jones gets inside but kicks it in and inadvertent outside. But look at the two rookie draft picks for the Kings connecting here. Clifford to Raino. Good job of getting his feet into the paint and then 7 foot one standing out at the three-point line where he is comfortable. So 37 with the ball. Yuki Kamura a fan favorite wherever he plays. Man, he walked past you, Chris. He was a little bit taller. I see what you’re doing there. They got jokes over it with the bucket. Korea listed at 58. You say that’s generous. Taller than you listen. Stevens bottoms from outside. Kings up by 11. their largest lead of the game. A sing bull over Carter. Crawford to Ray. No. And Crawford all air. Well, Smitty to answer your question, 6′ 3/4 last time. Steve is nice job. knocking down that three. Anytime you see a defender go under, whether you’re shooting or not, you got to show shot, make him press back up. Wasn’t there Stevenson knocked down that shot? The Bulls need an offensive spark. They’ve been stagnant. Carter stifling defense on Freeman Liberty. He gets a look and it’s a brick. Stevens spins the foul on Kyle Moore. The one thing you can hear sitting here on this broadcast the summer league is the coaches cheering their guys on and mostly what you hear from the King staff is great effort on the defensive. Yeah, you hear Ro and you talking about the guy Doug Christie. He’s their head coach. I played against him. Wouldn’t give you an inch. Doing an excellent job as an intro. He’s the head coach. Uh, love their staff. Mike Woodson is sitting over there. Scott Perry, BJ Armstrong, that’s the Brain Trust. Those guys are from Detroit. Been knowing them since I was young. I like what the Sacramento Kings are doing right now. And the foul goes on Cal Mora. So, we seen that the last two trips down fighting defensively. The Kings drawing two fouls. Keep going. Crawford creates some spacing, draws the foul on Freeman Liberty. So, Isaiah Crawford Liberty first played 24 games with the Stockton Kings. Crawford, averageaged 13 points per game, five rebounds per game. upcoming summer league schedule. The action continues on NBA TV, ESPN, and the ESPN app on NBA TV. Looks like it’s Minnesota versus Denver. That’s the game that we have tipping off at 10:00 Eastern. Ky Moore pushing it the other way. 12-point lead for the Kings. Mor step over in and out. Cardwell pulling in the rebound. Carter will go to the charity strike. So he remains perfect from the field and will get three free throws after his break. What are you doing? Get two of your faves. It’s up to you. Just figure it out to hit the drivethru. BK Pat Williams and Kobe White. And here’s a deal for Kobe White. He’s got one year left on his deal, Smitty. And as someone looking for an extension, had such a good season for the Chicago Bulls, but yet does not have that contract. Well, I think he’ll be all right. I mean, obviously this summer has been tough, but he has done what he’s supposed to do. I mean, he’s played extremely well last year and the year before. Big guard that can score, defend. I just love watching Kobe White. I mean, look at what he’s done, you know, after the the Zack Lavine trade. I mean, 23 points, 48% shooting, 38, got more opportunities because of Zack Lavine’s departure. Yeah, and that’s the thing. He played well before that, 18 points a game. But you know what it is. Once you get over 20, 22, you start to jump into a different category as someone that could be trusted every single night. As someone that was able to do that yourself, what’s the difference between, you know, being someone that once in a while could get 25 or 30, but being the person that counts on to get 20, you know, it’s a total difference. I mean, there’s more opportunity. That’s the easy way to say it. But when you start to be the guy that’s on the scouting board when teams are doubling, you making it hard for you still get a chance to get your point. But you also shoot a high percentage. That’s what’s beautiful about Kobe White’s game. And it is now a 14-2 run by the Kings after Carter made two free throws and another miss by the Bulls. Kings have opened up a 14-point lead. And it’s a little different than the Bulls when they lost yesterday by 44 points. They had 33 turnovers. They’re not doing that in this one. Just not able to capitalize with score. Carter 10 points already. Looking for the assist inside. Carter gets it back. Kicks it around. Stevens nails it. It’s a good job by Devin Carter. Understood the shot clock was running down. Didn’t penny kicked it out to Isaiah Stevens and he’s knocked down another three. Waka and Carrera working on the perimeter. Two guys who do their damage inside. Kamura tossing it up to right on Q. A walking highlight. Pereira and Kamura. Good job by Yuki being able to recognize that play. You saw it coming and develop way before the slip off the screen and roll. He has a good feel for passing the basketball. Really good feel and a steal by the Bulls. They’re headed the other way. Alam more nice move inside but hold on that pass. It’s okay. This one more effective. Put it right on the money. And look at the hops. That’s good pass. 15-point Kings lead. A minute to go here in the first quarter. Cardwell nowhere to go. Shot clock down to three and Carter loses it on the way up. That’s a turnover. So with 46 seconds to go here in the first quarter, Kings with a 15-point lead will get another possession before the break. Kamora working with Moa. Pereira. No. Guardwell on the glass. Carter looks up. It’s a 4second difference between a shot clock and a game clock. So he’ll take his time here. Beautiful play right now for this coaching staff. Can evaluate Devin Carter. Time and score. See if he can make the right play. The step back clap. 13 points in the first quarter for Devin Carter. 18-point lead for the Kings. Bulls in desperation mode for a bucket. Hopler. No. And the Kings with the strong push made seven threes in the first quarter. Devin Carter responsible for three of those. has not missed from the field. 13 points, four for four, Kings on top by 18. Quality healthc care shouldn’t take up all your time. HIMS offers access to doctor trust. Heat. Heat. over. And for you individually, when you have an opportunity like this, what sorts of things are you trying to work on? Uh, just trying to play the right way, trying to win the game. That’s that’s all I’m focused on. Thanks for stopping. Good luck. Most definitely. Appreciate it. And to what he said there, Sminny, trying to play the right way. Yes, he took one shot. Yes, two points, three assists. When we spoke to the GM, Scott Perry, he said, “Hey, I see him playing some point guard minutes for us.” We see that here in the first quarter, his second summer league. Yeah, he makes the correct play on both ends of the court. Team player, but also has the ability, like you said, to go out to make things happen. Uh, you can see the ability to score, make plays from himself, but I I just like the way he understands the assignment. The assignment numero uno is always to win the game and that’s what he talked about. Three assists, two rebounds, hasn’t turned the basketball over one for one. But more than that, the eye test. He passes the eye test. Yeah. Do you see that he played at two different colleges in the state of Colorado, Colorado and Colorado State, but really stood out towards the back end of his career. I mean, here’s a guy that had a breakout senior season, set the school record and points and rebounds. So, as we get the action started here in the second quarter, the Bulls need to get something going. Freeman Liberty answers that bell. He had 21 points the last time out. That just his first bucket. Carter remains red hot. 16 points, five for five, four for four from long range. And a foul called on Carter there. Well, let’s watch Carter on the offensive end. I’m not worried about him defensively. Boy, he is getting into a groove offensively today. But it’s the bounceback effort. We saw how dejected he looked on Thursday when he was two for 14. Hoplar open and backto back threes with the Bulls. We see life from them offensively. Crawford at the open. Looking basic. It’s good move. I mean, Bulls defensively, you can’t be in the zone and a guy drives it from the corner and nobody rotates over. Young floater. Yes. So, the Bulls three buckets at the start of the second quarter. They’re having an absolutely stagnant offense in the first. Crawford in and out. Barrera on the glass. Hopler with the handles. Barrera tossing it up. Freeman Liberty and one. So, the Bulls with 10 points in the first 90 seconds of the second quarter. Smitty, they had 14 the entire first quarter. Let me let me tell you, Javon Freeman knows how to play. This is a beautiful pass and cut. Devin Carter fell asleep a little bit as you can see the finish. I mean, they got blew out last game, but it’s a highlight in that game. He had 21 points in just 24 minutes. Five for six from the field and 10 for 13 from the line the game yesterday. He’s keeping it going. 25y old out of the ball undrafted in 2022. It’s a 12-point game now. Carter perfect from the field and Young wrapped around him for that number all over Deon Carter. Carter good size for a point guard. Yes. He’s got the same tenacity of his dad. Crawford some space. Attacks. Shake it up on a play. Call a offensive foul on Carter Crawford. Crawford. I mean, offensive foul number 32, Dylan Cardwell, his first. No, that was on Cardwell. That’s why it was perplexing, but Crawford shaken up on the play. Cardwell the big called for the offensive foul and they’re going to review that. So, it’s a challenge under review by the Kings. They take a closer look here from our end. And Cardwell, the big man, 32 underneath. Oh, where is it? Nothing to challenge there. That one’s sticking when we come back. Foul on 32. At AT&T Business, we can’t guarantee Heat. Heat. Good to see you. Our tourist here. Uh headman here with the Chicago Bulls as they reviewed that play and we know what’s happening here. So, let’s get right down to business and we look at your situation and the clap sp the cap space that was cleared and all of the moves you made with Zack Lavine, Demar D Rozan, a new era for the Chicago Bulls. So, from your perspective, what is the future hold for you guys? What are the goals after making those goals? Well, we we kind of like the way this group was playing uh after All-Star weekend um you know, last 30 games and uh finished 15 and five this season. So there was a lot of positive things uh obviously we transition um you know after uh previous uh summer and uh trying to build you know uh around this uh young core and uh trying to add things in you know during the draft and free agency and uh see how it goes next year. when you watched your team, like you said, the last 27 games, uh, the chemistry seemed like it was there. Coach Donovan, we had him yesterday. Talked about how you guys play with a lot of pace. That’s the one thing I enjoy watching. Talk to me about how Josh Giddy at his size made that happen with his ability to push the basketball and make plays. Well, we, you know, right from the start of last year, we we agreed how we’re going to play offensively, right? So, we’re going to push the pace. we were, you know, top three in the league uh last year. Uh 20% of our points came from fast break. Um so offensively, we found the identity. Uh we obviously, you know, changed our shooting profile as well. Uh shot a lot of threes and uh Josh did a great job. Obviously, especially after, um you know, all-star weekend. um you know Josh and Kobe uh took over as you know dynamic uh duo uh for us and they play on you know on a very high level. Um you know Kobe was uh you know player of the month in March and and Josh you know put up crazy numbers that actually were related to us winning games. So that was very important because you know our guys are developing but we put emphasis on winning. And uh it’s really good uh the way we’ve changed. Well, you mentioned both of those guys, Josh, Kobe White, both looking for contract extensions. Where are you in the process with both of those two guys and do you anticipate bringing them both back long term? Yes, I mean we we we love them both and uh there’s ongoing conversations and uh just a part of the process and uh hopefully we’ll see them both uh for a long time in Chicago. you know, the synergy with the GMs and executives and also the coaching staff. You guys push pace. You got young guys and then I think the next step for you guys is defensively. Is that something you guys are looking you know as far as trades free agency and in the draft? Is that’s the next step for you guys? Yeah. So, we have identity offensively, but we still searching for things defensively and uh uh you know, recently adding uh Isaac Aoro. you know, you got to bring in defenders as well if you want to play a better defense. So, uh, we’ll have to figure out that end of the floor for sure. Well, seeing the two guys you drafted in the last two years, Noah Essen and Modis Bazllis, uh, how do you figure those two guys, what did you like from them the draft process, each of them individually? Well, the versatility, you know, obviously Moses earned his minutes and uh was starting at the end of the year with uh Norris. It’s again, it’s a versatile wing swing, long athletic uh those kind of profiles. We’re looking uh you know looking at our you know this year’s playoffs you know it’s all about you know athleticism length and you know those skinny dudes and uh mobile and you know versatile in terms of defensively they can switch on you. So that’s the profile that we’re looking for. You know you talk about skinny dudes. I used to be one of those skinny dudes. Not anymore. But is it going to be your assignment to find Noah some pizza in Chicago? Yes. Well, he’s a he’s the second youngest guy in the draft. You know, Cougar flag is number one and he’s number two, right? Couple days uh uh older, but you know, he’s still very young guy. You know, obviously we remember uh last preseason when you know, he played for uh German team and uh played in preseason against Portland Trailblazers and he was 17 years old. So, it was impressive to uh kind of see uh a player at that young age uh to produce like that. You know, I think you’re bringing good luck to your squad because since you sat down 13-2 run. So, when you’re watching as we’re speaking, what do you see from your young group that you’re liking right now? No, especially after uh yesterday was a a rough game, 33 turnovers. So, hopefully they can bounce back and uh can play better. You know, I want to stick with that because you say bounce back. Noah Sing in his first game. Obviously, two for seven from the field. Took a while to get going. Right now, eight rebounds. We’re still here uh midway through the second quarter. Five points. Also had a sensational block. What do you like most about the tools that he has, what he brings to the table? Well, first of all, he’s very competitive. So, you know, off the court, he he looks like very laidback, but when he plays, he plays, you know, with an edge. So, um, obviously with all the plays that he was making, it’s it’s length, athleticism, and switchability, you know, defensively. That’s that’s what he brings. So, I mean, you know, the translation in uh in in summer league, we just want our, you know, young players develop and uh get some experience. I wanted to ask you about Bzelis. I mean, one of my favorites just because of he has that little moxy, but also he’s he’s bigger than I thought. I thought he was about 67, 6’8. He looks 6’9, 610ish. Um, where do you see his future, especially coming into this season? I thought last year ended up well. He loves to compete and we know how athletic he is. Well, plus, you know, he he’s very mad about yesterday’s game and, you know, obviously he’s not playing today, but he’s very active there on the bench supporting his uh teammates. Uh looking forward to his growth. You know, he’s he has a big summer in front of him to get better. now he’s going to be uh on teams uh scouting reports, you know, so the defense is going to collapse on him. He’s going to have to make adjustments and we’ll see how that goes. But he’s looking forward to the challenge and uh he’s he’s you know they all squad has been working very hard this summer. So uh I hope it translates to growth next year. You know, for the past couple of years, you look at the Chicago Bulls. Obviously, you tried it with Zack Lavine, Demar De Rozan, and um Nicole Buchvich, but now you’ve moved into a different era. So, for this upcoming season, what are the goals? What do you hope for this squad? To get better, right? So, last year we were predicted to to win 29, we won 39. So, we’re just trying to take small steps forward and while our guys developing and getting better um and keep on adding uh additional things in in draft and free agency and uh going into 2026 uh summer, you know, obviously we have, you know, uh flexibility in terms of salary and cap. Uh, so we’re going to be able to uh, you know, have to make decisions uh, during that time. All right, Arurus Farzovis, Bull’s executive VP of basketball operations. Thank you for spending some time with us. Thanks for having me. You need to stay here. He’s only down eight now. We appreciate you though. All right. I appreciate it. So, yeah, he sat down and the run started immediately and we’ve seen that from time to time. We get a guest on the show and their team turns it around the second that they sit in the seat. And we have ourselves a better ball game here, Smitty. Just an eight-point advantage for Sacramento. Remember, they were up 18 quick. And is having himself a great second game. Yes. Already close getting zero and in with 4 minutes and 22 seconds left with the double double. Eight rebounds already. Block shots. Couple changes. misses that free throw. He has six and eight, but a very nice game that he’s having so far in this first half. Nick Clifford on the attack. Jones in the corner. No, nice soft touch over. So, a five-point game. And one thing we pointed out to with the Bulls, only six turnovers so far here in the first half after 33 the last time out. That helps give a chance to get shots up. Reo back to Carter. Good twoman game. Beautiful two-man game. And that’s a big RO making a big time play. Singate pulling from outside. Carter to Jones through Sa by Jones. Isaac Jones at 69 245. Got out and ran. Nice by Y right on time. Three minutes to go here in the second quarter. Seven-point lead for the Kings. Jones calls for the screen and goes the other way to Jones inside. Basketball right there. Jones to Jones. Nice little law firm. and Isaac Jones, the GLeague champions, connecting to give the Kings a 9point advantage. second nine for 13 from the field. Smitty, yeah, much better, I would say, offensive input by the Bulls, but I think also they haven’t turned it over like they did the last game, but also they got good shots. Green Liberty working on Reo and it’s an offensive foul on Albert inside. Check it out again. Yes. Well, the Bulls are going to challenge that. That’s the second time that today that we’ve seen an offensive foul challenge by the big inside. But you say that that one’s going to stick. No, I think Deon Carter Scott has taken a timeout and challenge the offensive. Yeah, Deon Carter’s holding him and then he pushes off through him. Hundreds of thousands of guys are finding doctor trusted treatment for their So Devin Carter for the Kings has the same amount of threes as the Chicago Bulls. He’s four for four from long range. Hasn’t is the shot. The leading scoreer of the game with 19. Great bounceback effort for him, Smith. Yes, indeed. Wasn’t really worried about him because first illegal contact for using two hands and holding over. Therefore, the call has been overturned to a defensive foul. We’re going to set the game clock to 237 as that’s when illegal contact was and the shot clock will go to 14. Chicago will retain this timeout and they will have the ability to challenge a second time. So, how about that? The offensive foul overturned. It’s now a defensive foul on Devin Carter. You call that? Yeah, he he’s old. This old vet move trying to hold on and been able to push off. But I like the way he’s played. We were talking about him before we went to that break and that play was called uh a defensive foul. He has played extremely well on the offensive end and the defensive end. Gamora too hot to handle for Alrech. Carter tosses it up but grill with the steel. Greening Liberty to is he is denied by Jones up top and a foul called on Jones. Up top it was clean right top is up clean. Look let’s look at it again. Good pass by Freeman Liberty. I think that’s all ball. Well, either way, uh singing will go to the line. 6.7 rebounds, but he’s two for five at the Cherry Strike. Good run by Noah, though. Love that he rim run. Got his head on the rim. That’s what we call it. Get to the rim. Got a chance to go up. Got it blocked, but he drew the foul. Thought he had eight rebounds. Took a rebound away. He did. Now it’s eight points and seven boards. Seven-point deficit. Carter into the teeth of the defense. Clifford trying to give it to Raino inside, but Kyle Moore giving up a foot height. Gets the steal. Brandon Liberty seals it on the other end. Good job by the Bulls. This is a totally different team from yesterday. Clifford and right now working the twoman game this time. Success. Love watching Clifford. Got to slide his feet now with Yuki. Moore with the spin and the ding. short land puts it back in. You know, if you’re a coaching staff, whether you’re coaching this G-League team or Doug Christ and his staff over here, you don’t like what you’re seeing right now as far as the effort and boxing out and the little things in the hustle and grill off of the foul. All right, we check this out one more time. Z all air but over it right there. No one there from the Kings. Somebody has to get there to be able to make a challenge at that plate. So five-point advantage for the Kings with just over a minute to go here in the second quarter. have a fivepoint advantage because it’s been a blow up for the Bulls offense here in the second quarter after scoring just 14 points. They now have 47 of the board and we got ourselves a game here in the second quarter. Yeah, we do. And look at this shooting breakdown right now. 12 for 21 from the two-point line. Two-point line. I mean, you look at the three-point line. Sacramento 8 for 16. They are scorching on both. And I think when you look at it right now is more attempts for the Chicago Bulls. That’s why they’re hanging in this game. Carter still has not missed. Working on Kyamora. His first miss. Freeman Liberty driving right at Jones. Grill off the day crashing the glass again. The second chance opportunity working on a double double. Big FA 10 points, eight rebounds. Now we got a three-point game. Deficit was 18 to start the second quarter. Challenged inside, but Clifford got big. Good job by Clifford saying, “Hey, I’m just going to carve out me some space and knock down that little easy layup.” How Moore playing at his pace. Over thought about the three working inside on Reo and a foul on Reo. Patience right there. Good cut. Freeman Liberty. Now number 42, Maxi Moreno on his first personal. So over Freeman Liberty seemed confused as to who was going to get the free. No, Liberty wasn’t confused. He’s trying to get him two free throws. Why was he standing there? He’s trying to get two shots. It’s the vet move. It’s definitely the vet move. I see why now. Yeah. 56% free throw shooter shooters over in Freeman Liberty though only 66% from the charity strike. We talked about that. said he’s better than he is. The second one to fall. Four-point game. 31 seconds to go here in the first half. Jones into the paint. Leford sideep all. Jones wanted that back. K Moore on the fast break. His fan base losing it. Carter going right back at Ky Moa and a pocket foul on Kyle Mo. Better watch it. They may not make it out of here with his hand. Let’s watch him. David Carter doing a nice job driving. Yuki couldn’t get there. Still moving. Where’s Rex Chapman when you need him? Lock a char. Yes. That guy Rex Chapman and they’re challenging it. Oh, he brings energy. Excited about that one. Whichever way that go, the Bulls win because let’s talk about his pass on that fast break pushing back. Yes. Nice. Good patience. You can see when he got the first taking a timeout to challenge the blocking foul. Let’s watch it right here. I got I got block. I think it’s obvious. Yes. I love his effort though. The arm extension. Maybe that’s why he gets overturned. Maybe. Check it out here from this angle. That’s a foul there. It’s a foul there before the extension of the arm. Let me ask Monty McCutchen. Monti, you know, we’re on air right now. You didn’t see the play. So, I’m just asking you, how you doing? How you doing, my guy? Many. So, Yuki Kar, for those trying to understand why there’s a rabbit fan base here in Japan, named the MVP of the BL League in the 2023 season, led the league in assists, but then he comes over here. It was seen that Kawamura never established a legal guarding position in the path of Carter. Therefore, the defensive foul is confirmed. This will be penalty free throws by Carter. Chicago’s has lost their ability to challenge and also were charged that timeout. And the crowd has lost their minds on that one. But here you go again. One foul, two fouls, three fouls. I just wanted to win against my buddy down there. That’s all. Stephanie Renie. No. No, right. Come again. Yeah. Oh, Dave was going the other way with it. Yeah, Dave was going the other way with it. That’s how Dave played. Dave Freedsman extraordinaire. One of the best in the business. 0 for one on challenges today. So, Carter with 19 points, but three for five from the free throw. gets that one to fall. 20 points. And Carter up to 21 points. That lead up to four. Kamora front rim. And that’s how the first half ends. The Kings with a four-point lead. And we’ve had some outstanding performances on both ends. The Bulls with four with three players in double figures. Noah Asen 10 points, nine rebounds for the 12th pick in this year’s NBA draft. The 13th pick in last year’s draft. Carter 21 points in just one miss from the field. And the crowd favorite Yuki Kawamora dropping dives. We got a four-point game at the half. Sacramento Kings with a four-point advantage over the Chicago Bulls here at the half on the campus of UNLV. V. This is the NBA 2K26 summer league. Well, the NBA has long pulled talent from France, but in the last two years, that has especially been the case at the NBA draft. We know this guy the number one pick in 2023, Victor Wittmanyama out of San Antonio Spurs. He won rookie of the year. Wimby not the only Frenchman drafted that year. Balo Kulabali picked at seven, Brian Roupert at 43 and Sad Cisco at 44. In 2024, the trend only strengthened with four picks in the first round coming from France and Zack From game one to game two, ascending with 10 points and nine rebounds at the half. Some people just know they could save hundreds on home insurance, but because of what he’s been through. Shoulder injury derailed the first year of his career. came back, looked good in the G- League with 26 points per game in five G-League games. But really getting to see him today looking like the guy that they drafted with the 13th pick last season. Chris, you said it. I mean, you know, you never want to have injuries, but I think injuries as a rookie, you don’t get a chance to be in the system. You got to go down to the G- League, which he played extremely well, but the last few games of the season, that part of the season, he played extremely well, he plays extremely hard on the defensive end. in the offense. We get we didn’t get a chance to see it in the first game, but today he is turned it over in the opposite The team just got out and got easy, easy, easy layups. So, here we go. The start of the second half. The Bulls with a full stampede there in that second quarter, scoring 38 points. Freeman Liberty. Good block. Clifford pushing it the other way. That pass is tipped over to Jones. Jones working on all brick. Oh, everything shot down. Swing. Swing in the corner. Young being patient. Here had a good first half. Just a bit short. Denied defense by forces the steel. Freeman Liberty knocked down. Our monitor also knocked out on that play. Dave Freed with the great hands. Keeping the stats monitor alive. Dave with the quick hands. Dave Freed the Hall of Famer. So the first minute here into the second half scoreless for both teams. Young changing directions. Nowhere to go. Behind the back, the spin, the hook. Carter on the rebound. And overly aggressive. Was Deon Carter has a point guard rebound in traffic. Well, he’s got four of those. Also two assists to go along with his 31 points. And that’s the thing about him. Carter will fill it up in a lot of different ways. 2024 Big East player of the year, 23 years old, and he will start his rookie year in earnest after missing what would have been his first season last year. Jones guarded in the back court by As. We’re seeing the versatility from him defensively. Several screens set. He stayed with it. Clifford Reo dribble hand off. Pull up short. Good basketball. I love that play. Look at the Bulls. Got a trailer. Young working on Jones. Freeman. Liberty short. Eyes up for Jones. To Jones. Reo. Well, yes. You know, did a nice job of running. Love to see Bigs run rimto rim. You mentioned the hot shooting. That’s our first bucket of the second half. And back to back they go, but not scoring in the first two minutes. Carter keeps the defender on his hip, gets it back. So here to start the second half, the sing making an impact on a perimeter defense. I mean, uh Devin Carter also guarding Mason Jones. He’s guarding smalls. He’s guarding bigs. He’s doing it all so far. Clifford the reverse. Thought he should have dropped that one off to Jones. He was standing right there. As coast to coast with the filt sliding his feet Jones back to Ray. No picture perfect basketball. It’s the way you play basketball. Great spacing, great cut, and great timing on the screen. The high screen for Freeman Liberty had the open look decides to go right into the chest of Reo instead. As a sing short Carter, his threes have been short for sure. But the look on the other end Clifford wide open makes the defense pay. Nine points now for Meat Clifford. Freeman Liberty. That’s Young. Back and forth. This game is going. Somebody got to get some stops. Jones pass. Barrera in a late whistle there, but he’ll head to the charity. Love the way the Bulls are playing. I know people watching yesterday out of scene. Turning it over. Much better. spacing is much better. I think the activity to run is better, boxing out, all the fundamentals they’re doing today. And for those just tuning in looking for Modest Biz, who played the Bull’s first summer league game, the secondyear player, the lottery pick last year, you see him over there dressed in what you would call non basketball sneakers and what you say pistol pink socks. Yeah, that’s Pistol Peak socks. The floppy socks. Just out today. No status of whether he’ll play more in summer league, but there’s no injury. No, not at all. Got a chance to talk to him at halftime. He said, “I’m good. They just didn’t want to play me on back to backs.” Well, he’s also not sitting. He’s ready to go. A Freeman Liberty over Clifford back rim and it looks like a foul on the rebound and it’ll go against Ray. No, so it’ll stay here. No, it’s on. Yeah, it’s on right now. Yeah, it’s on right now. Good call, Chris. You can call that every trip down. Four points in the first four minutes here of the second half for the Bulls. So, the offense stagnant again. on Clifford. So, a foul on Nick Clifford before they got the ball in bounds and it’s costly because Freeman Liberty will get a free throw here and they get possession back. So, that’s the last thing you want to do in this situation, Smitty. A team that’s struggling to score. Get a guy that’s the microwave for the team a free opportunity. doesn’t cash in. What do you call the one play before the vet move with Freeman? Try to get to the free throw line. Yeah, he just pulled another one. There’s no foul. Guy was close. Just went down. You know a lot of those things, your area of expertise. Young way short. Clifford in transition. Clifford all the way. But it too many defenders there. Got too deep. Young with the roll for Asber gets the open look front rim. So, after a red-hot second quarter, both teams struggling to get the offense going, but Nick Clifford with the good look here for the Kings. Remain on top ahead by seven. a 2K 26 summer league. And as you see, the Sacramento Kings, you know, we we get to see three of their draft picks from the last two years. See Kevin Carter right on your screen. Nick Clifford making an impact. Maxim Rayo Clifford with the ball right now. Reo at the center by the key and Smitty. They draft older players. 23 23 23 the ages of those three guys. Yeah. They’re looking at guys that’s getting a chance to play ready now. No projects. Trying to get guys to get in their system older, understand the game, more physical than some of the young guys that, you know, need some time because of their age and also their weight. Yeah. And Scott Perry joined us yesterday and kind of broke that down for us. He said, “Look, when you’re drafting where we are drafting, you’re not necessarily going to get the teenagers. You’re going to get the older players that can come in and you look for them to contribute, not take a couple years to develop.” Yuki Kamura back in the game for the Bulls, looking to make an impact on offense. And an excellent job by the Kings this draft. Two guys with some age. Maxim and also looking at Clifford. Both guys are kind of season vets for college. Okay, Yuki getting back down. He not let anybody go and Kamar getting on the floor for the loose ball. Obri a foul on the play. But if you go and see what’s happening with the Chicago Bulls on the sideline right now, Noah Asen, who’s having a really good game so far, 12 points, 10 rebounds, it’s like they’re working on that quad above the knee. First round pick playing back to back games. Play well. Freeman Liberty working on Clifford into your point. Sold that a bit. Foul on the play, but he made sure that whistle was blown. Yeah, the head whip also put the ball down. So, kind of get a little yell. That’s just a vet move. Get yourself to the free throw line. He understands how to do that. 13 attempts yesterday. Liberty at the line and you’re familiar with his family lineage. Marcus Liberty. Let me tell you something. Marcus Liberty as his uncle. One of the best to ever do it. He was scary sight in high school. 68 69 handle it before his time. I mean really before his time. Number one player in our class. 1987. on. So, I thought when we had a conversation earlier with Arurus, Colonel Sovis, the executive vice president of the Chicago Bulls, and he made it clear that they’re trying to bring back both Kobe White and Josh Giddy long term. I thought that was a big deal. We also see the back end of your screen. Noah is singing looks like he’s going to head to the locker room as he gets treatment. Clouden for three short and it’ll stay here. Some opportunity for Bulls players right now. Noah look like he’s walking off. No Balis. So that’s two guys that’s usually going to get featured. So other other guys get a chance to get play now. Got to have your you got to be ready. All right, let’s go to Stephanie Ready who has an update. Guys, I’ve been watching them tend to Noah Sen on the bench there and first they took out that massage gun that that you’re very familiar with that Hyper Ice and they started to use it. Then they stopped. Then they started to just feel around the knee area, that right knee, and it looked as if they were trying to figure out where the pain or the discomfort was. They did a lot of exploring there, talking and touching different parts of the knee. Now, as you see, he is walking off. I will get an update if there is one to be had here. Thanks, Stephanie. And a finish inside by Crawford. But getting back to where the Bulls are going as a team. They mentioned that good ending to the season for this squad. Kobe White a big part of that. 23 points per game down the stretch. Freeman liter literally in and out. as Stevens tosses the alley. Crawford working on the second chance. Creamman Liberty coming up with it. Cream Liberty finishes with the left hand at the cup. It’s a six-point game. Let me tell you something. He understands the game of basketball. I’m low. I’m low. It comes easy, James. But for the Bulls, trading an asset like Alex Caruso getting back Josh Giddy, it just seems as if they’re being patient and working on that long-term deal with Josh Giddy, who’s a restricted free agent who has not received an offer from another team. It is I mean, you know, obviously we understand what Alex Caruso brings to a team. Won a championship with OKC. Chicago Bulls roster is not ready to win a championship right now. But Josh Kitty different type of player. Look at Devin Carter down there on the block. But also what Josh Kitty did a point guard at 69 push pace. So I thought the trade was great for both teams. Grill takes the pass and nails it into mid-range. and Giddy with an opportunity to have the ball in his hands. That wasn’t the case for the Oklahoma City Thunder as much. Looked good in his first season with the Bulls. Carter step back high arcing and dropping eight for nine from the field. 26 points here in the third quarter. Rhythm. He is in rhythm offensively. Kamura and a foul called. That one will go against Isaiah Stevens. Another called step backs and this is step way back. Watch the separation. Chris Deon Carter drives it. Wait a second. Let me get back here. and a There’s Noah As walking off and we do have what we believe is potentially the moment where he knocked knee Smitty but could be the cause of that discomfort. It is. I mean that’s one of the things you hate. I wore knee pads because of that. Didn’t look the greatest, but I love because when you get hit with knee on knee, didn’t hurt as much. Grilled from the corner. All in the grill. Six-point Bulls deficit. Just the fifth made three by Chicago. They need some outside shooting desperately. Crawford continuing to provide that for the Kings. They’ve hit 11 threes. He’s had a solid game coming off the bench. Kyamar pass Carter and tosses it away. Clouden going baseline and a foul on the way up. Looks like that’ll go against Waka, but Grill connecting and then the response on the other end quickly by Crawford. Good job by Grill and also Crawford knocking down these threes. Grill picked that one up off the deck and knocked it down. Well, the Emirates NBA Cup returns to Las Vegas December 13th and 16th. Get access first to experience all the action live with NBA experiences. Visit NBAvents.com to purchase tickets and experiences. The NBA presence here in Las Vegas without a franchise. You have the summer league, NBA Cup, and before that they used to have the G-League Winner Showcase. Of course, the Las Vegas Aces, multiple championships for that franchise. Griddle can’t get it to fall. You saves that one. The turnaround jumper. A nice smooth move by Stevens. I like that move. So, speaking of all the basketball that’s involved with the NBA here in Las Vegas, do you think an NBA franchise will eventually be here? I think so. Um, I think too two um two cities, Seattle and Las Vegas are next. Not knowing when, but I think Las Vegas is obviously gearing up. I don’t know when, but I think it’s coming in the future. Young going off the glass. Carter pulls it down, pushes it the other way, kicks it off his foot, and it’s Young who gets it back. Kyle Moore to Pereira, but it is beat up on the boards by Cardwell. Well, good job. Great pass and better defense. Crawford pulling up, dropping. Kings up by 15. Have opened this up with a nine nothing run here at the end of the third quarter. Two second difference. Shot clock, game clock. Bulls being patient before they go. Kyle Moore drives past Stevens. Can’t get past Carter, but draws the foul number. I mean, I’m impressed with that play by Cardwell. Dylan Cardwell came out of nowhere to block that dunk against a high flyer and a great passer. And we’ve seen several connections between Ky Moora and Barrera already above the rim. So he knew it was coming and denied it. I got you. I got you. I got you. You hear the crowd even on a free throw loving what Kyle Mora does. misses the second one. The second chance opportunity and redemption for Pereira over Cardwell. Remember Cardwell denied him on the alleyoop opportunity and now he’s part of his poster. This is good basketball. Well, I like Carwell come and try to get that one. M that is nasty for those just getting familiar with Pereira. Played professionally in Brazil for four years. 24 years old. Played for the Mexico City Capitan where he averaged 118 and a block a game. Was in the G-League dunk contest. Carter beats the buzzer at the end of the third quarter. The Kings with a 12-point lead. Carter 26 points. That miss doesn’t count because in summer league not count those sees anymore. Stephanie Ready joined by Javon Freeman. Liberty, excellent job so far in this game, especially when you consider what you faced in the last game with the turnover, setting an NBA summer league record tonight. So far, less than 10. What was the difference? Um, I always feel like that wasn’t ourselves last night. Um, but it was good me as a leader coming in talking to my guys and make sure we keeping those turnovers down. So, and then how do you succeed from this point? How do you close this game out with a victory? Uh, just keep doing what we do. Um, I feel like we uh get uh get them comfortable, get them on their toes, and we’ll come back and win this game. Thanks for stopping. Good luck. Thank you. Well, a great interview and great points made there about the Bulls in their turnovers. They had just eight turnovers in this game so far. As Reno gets the turnaround left hook. It’s a 14-point advantage, but they had 33 turnovers their last game. So, down to eight. Mission accomplished wherever they go from here as far as that coaching staff is concerned. Yeah, better job for sure by the Bulls cutting down the turnovers. Right now he’s they just got to find a way to get stops. Also some buckets, but the Kings doing an excellent job defensively making things tough. Hop pulls up, hits the mini. 12-point advantage for the Kings. We do see Noah Asen on the sidelines with ice on his knees. Clifford inside the size advantage takes advantage. Just patient patient down there. Pop block. Good individual D on this play. Pulls up looking for backto back buckets. Back rim. Here tries to throw it in. Clifford behind the back to Stevens. can’t pay off. Poppler on a break. He rises. That was a easy jump. Clifford patient finds rain. Nice defensive effort by popppler for three. No. So Nick Clifford working towards a double double now. He has it. 11 points, 10 rebounds. Also has four assists. Stevens crosscourt to Crawford. Leave it as Crawford missed the shot. I mean he is finding buckets after bucket. Young to the hole. Crawford runs into him. Kings with the momentum. Jones through and it’s a charge. Way to get back on defense by the rookie. Okay, for Chicago number 27 David and number 37 Yuki Kawamura. So the Bulls down by 15. Seven and a half to go. Kamura checks back into the game. They need an influx of offense. Down 15. Freeman Liberty to Pereira. Maka ill-advised pass. Freeman Liberty’s got to put it up inside. Milwaukees right before the buzzer. Jones pocket pass. Rayo, good job. Touch. Great pick. Max rolled out of there quickly. Opened up. got big, bumped the basketball in rhythm. 17 points for the second round pick Maxine Reo. It’ll be a foul on Reo. So there he is, Noah Ass with the ice pack on his right knee. Good to see him back with the team after that bump on his Yeah, for sure. Coming back out a little bit of ice. probably got a chance to check him out and he’s okay, but not going to return in this game. But he he he showed us more than what he showed us in that first game. So, the Bulls shooting 60% from the free throw line. They’ve left nine points on the board there, sweetie. 14-point deficit for Chicago. Reo, the absolute dime to Jones, the big man with the passing skills. He has some skills. I mean, not a lot of big guys 7 foot one can do that. Make a back door pass off the dribble on time. And also for score Clifford all over pot. Bulls stagnant to get into their offense. Freeman Liberty for three. A heave. Great defensive possession for the Kings. Clifford a candy. It’s the largest lead of the game. 19 points for the Kings. Nick Clifford 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists for the rookie out of Colorado State. Walkin three. That’s beautiful basketball. Hims was a fantastic find. Hims makes Hey, blue. Hey babe. the ice there wrapped around the right leg. The official report from the Chicago Bulls is that he will be out the remainder of the game with a right quad contusion. Guys, just a little good news on that note. He did jump up and celebrate for his teammates, so that’s a good sign. And he’s at it again. Bales as well as Yuki Kamura breaks the lid with a tray. Good remains hot. 17 for Clifford. 7 for 11 from the floor. An efficient game for him. Really nice game. Both their draft picks playing well. And a foul will go on Jones as Ober hit the floor. But Jones finds Clifford. So Clifford again, Mountain West Conference tournament MVP. Didn’t see a lot of burn. Just five minutes a game his freshman year in college. Now look what he’s doing. His second summer league game of his rookie season. 17 10 rebounds, four assists. Still got five minutes left. 19-point lead. ties the largest lead of the game for the Kings. Kamora between the legs of Raino to Ori for the finish. You see why the crowd loves him. You see why he’s an assist leader, the former MVP Reo with the seal inside and that’ll go against Grill. Let’s watch this one again. Chris, come off the screen and roll. Patience. Oh, I got you. Nice play by Yuki. Yuki with the height advantage there. Reo like I see right through that lane. Dime right on time. Clifford on the baseline. Bump. Bump. Fade away. In and out. Grill from Kamura. Oh, here we go. 14-point game. 4 and 1/2 minutes to go. Kennables mount a comeback. Carter from the loco. A rare miss. Clifford red hot. A sensational second half for him. 19 points, 11 rebounds, 10 in the fourth. Kyle Moore looking inside again. But over couldn’t break the seal. He didn’t roll. Set the screen and then get out of the roll. Yuki’s telling him, “Got to roll. Out of Had you.” 11 seconds on the shot clock. Just over four minutes left in the game. Pereira bottoms. So Pereira having a nice game. 15 points. 13-point deficits. Bulls essentially need a stop if they hope to have any chance in the back end of this fourth quarter. Yeah, they need a couple stops for sure. Sacramento doing a nice job of understanding time and score. Jones to Jones. It worked before. Not here for a score. Pereira to Brick over Ray. No. And a foul on Ray. No. The two second round picks from this year draft. Mono mono on the fast break. Nobody’s giving up. Game’s not over. Well, that’s his seventh foul on Reo. You know, not fouling out of summer league. He’s making him count. This is big time challenge at the rim. Got him clearly on the right line. So Lachland at the charity strike, 55th overall pick. Summer league action continues tonight on NBA TV, ESPN and the ESPN app. Minnesota in Denver right here on NBA TV starting at 10 Eastern. Memphis Portland tonight at 10:30 on ESPN 2. tomorrow. Detroit, Houston, Toronto, Orlando. 12-point deficit. Reo nowhere to go, but the turn. He gets the shot up. Carrera pulling it down. Freeman Liberty looking for someone in the corner. The ball deflected out of bounds. Good idea by Freeman Liberty. Probably should have gave it up a little bit earlier. He could have got it right back. And again, kudos to the Bulls. We mentioned this before, but 33 turnovers yesterday, just nine in this one. Giving them a chance now defensively haven’t been able to stop the Kings. Kawamora to Freeman Liberty. He’s got some space. Krill. No. Second chance and it stays here. Stays here with the Bulls. Four guys trying to jump. Somebody um with the Kings got to try to box out. All five Bulls starters in double figures. Kamora in the paint. Turnover. Carter in transition and that feels like the dagger. Another turnover. Stevens gets it to Jones. Ball game. 10588 the back breakers. Yeah, it was right now everything is going. Good move by Freeman Liberty finishing with the left but rims out. So, the Kings shooting 58% from the field. They’ve made 15 threes, shooting 50% from long range. Carter just his second miss. Krill pulling up face of Reo, but that’s a no. The Kings sensing the victory. Yeah, slowing it down to get eat some clock. Running a little time. Good job by them. Jones rolling and puts it up. Second chance, third chance. Ray, no loses it. Cour going the other way. Freeman Liberty whistle goes against Clifford. So, it was a sequence right here for the Kings that really felt like too much to overcome. Yes, indeed. For the Bulls. He’s so right, Chris Miles. And next thing, they come right back with the three. Jones letting it fly. This has become a theme for him. He’s got 19 in a game, but 13 of those come in the second half. You remember his first summer league game had 16 points. 15 of those came in the second half. Swinnie, we’re seeing a theme with him as the game progresses. He gets more aggressive and efficient offensively. Chris Miles, you right on point. the aggressiveness, the efficient play in second halfs of the game. And yesterday he had 11 in the fourth and a win and obviously today a big time game and also with a win. The win and the plan well they go hand in hand. Now as a taller player that played the lead guard position, if you will, point guard Nick Clifford. Those are the expectations for him from what you’ve seen in two summer league games. What makes him an effective player to have that kind of potential in the NBA? I think he understands to make the right play. He said it when he was interviewing with Stephanie. I think also his basketball IQ. You can see he plays the game the right way. Doesn’t try much as far as stays within himself. Um, great fundamentals. That’s what I love about him. Yeah, Carter and Clifford, both guys who could see a lot of playing time in the back court next season for the Kings. Stevens is off. That’ll tick the Kings beneath 50% from long range. Freeman Liberty ring that bell. Okay. So, 21 points for Freeman Liberty. Yeah, here’s a guy that in the G- League averages 20 points a game. The elevation here though by him and next thing you know, let me go get this. The landing was the funniest part. He had to look on his face like another D. I love his game. Even when he dunks it, it feels like he’s I’m calm, cool, like I do this. Stevens soft touch. And for the Bulls, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Noah Asang. It’s reported by Stephanie Ready. A contusion that right quad. But for the rookie, 12 points, 10 rebounds in just 19 minutes. was I mean I thought we we both said and you pointed out came out a little aggressive and he got into a rhythm both offensively and defensively. And Clifford padding those stats now 12 rebounds to go along with those five assists and 19 points. The crowd is chanting something. Can you make out what it is? Light the beam.
