IF THE DALLAS MAVERICKS STARTING FIVE WAS IN THEIR PRIME IS IT THE BEST EVER! #shorts #nba #debate

If the Dallas Maverick’s current starting lineup was all in their prime, is it the greatest team of all time? That’s a great question. I mean, Kyrie Irving, I think he’s an all-time top 75 player. Anthony Davis, all-time top 75 player. Klay Thompson, one of the biggest snubs from the AllNBA 75. Derek Lively hasn’t even scratched the surface yet. I mean, they have Daniel Gaffford, if you want to go that route. PJ Washington, you also got Cooper Flag. And now D’Angelo Russell, if he was in his prime, that’s an all-star. That’s a great point. So, I mean, Cooper Flag, just in terms of possibilities, he’s been the probably the most highly touted American prospect since Zion or LeBron, you can argue this is the best starting five of all time. You go DLO in his prime, that’s an all-star, a great all-star. Yeah, he made an all-star team with the Nets. You go Kyrie at the two, which he likes playing off ball. That’s the worst defensive back court ever, but you make up with it with AD Cooper flag Derek Lively. And then you got Clay shooting from three and you got two-way Clay here. Put Put DL on the bench. this team goes 82 and0 if they’re all in their prime, which is a crazy ask, but if they were, I think it’s 82 and0.

  1. All in their prime??? Steph, Klay, KD and Dray were at the time. But add PRIME Iggy, Boogie Cousins, David West, Shawn Livingston, hell even Looney who was a rookie then.

  2. Prime AD challanges any Bigman in their prime 💪. Also Prime Kyrie and Klay are like perfect second star in a championship team. Not 82-0 but surely a dynasty!

  3. The 29-22 record needs context most of those games are either at the end of the season (80-82nd games) or vs lottery teams

  4. You can probably do it with quite a few teams with aging stars and they would be great.

Like 03-04 Lakers with prime Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone, Gary Payton
02-03 Spurs with prime Duncan, Robison, Park, Manu
10-11 Celtics with prime Shaq, KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce

    etc etc.

  5. No team today will be greatest of all time ! You have to be a great Defensive team ASK who seen the 8 peat Celtics ! You Diaper wearing Fanbois have no Clue ! Mike sure don't!

  6. Ngl the warriors in 2018 and the Miami heat 2013 destroys this team bad , all time not even close prime or not lol

  7. The Dallas mavericks all in their prime aren’t better than the warriors right now with an aging Steph and aging Jimmy Buttler, there not better than OKC last year they’re not better than the Celtics in 23-24,

  8. D Lo is a low IQ low efficiency low impact guy that makes all star status simply thanks to low IQ voters and his number based off just volume. He was never a legit all star value and impact wise.

Also Kyrie did not deserve to be top 75 his game is just fun to watch. AD prime and healthy which is asking a lot is an all time great. Cooper Flagg definitely will be an all time great but you have to let him prove it first before you give that to him.
The only thing these guys got right is that Klay was a top 75 snub.

These guys are reaching really bad

  9. So, I think a lot of people in comments are arguing for other teams, if those teams were also all in their prime. That's not the argument these two are making. If they were, there would be plenty of other teams that if those players were at their peak, they would be better.

  10. Wow I didn't know it was that easy for a team to go 82 and 0. I'm surprised more teams haven't went 82-0 all they need is a bunch of players that never played an 82 games in a season during their career. Injuries don't exist if a player is in their prime. With this roster the whole west conference has to be dismissed. MVP Jokic, the youngest team with the most talent, tl the greatest shooter of all time, the best defender during this decade can't beat a team once in an 82 game season simply because they don't play 82 games so beating a team that is there is impossible.

  11. Perhaps a better experiment with this is which teams had the closest to the best they could compared to their players primes. Warriors and Bulls have to be close. Both teams would have been better than they were, but I don't know that you'd find rosters either team had, which if they were all prime, you'd say would outperform those runs.

  12. Kyrie top 75 all time? Most overrated ever. Only 3 all nbas and has NEVER been the best player on team to even make the playoffs

  13. Didn’t the warriors have Klay in his prime but also with prime Steph and KD? Both of which are miles above AD
