But this trade would see the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Anthony Simons and the Boston Celtics receiving Kyle Koosma, AJ Green, and a 2027 first round draft pick from the New Orleans Pelicans. So, in my personal opinion, this would be a fantastic trade uh for the Celtics to make. Not only are they getting rid of Anthony Simons, who they don’t really want to have on their roster in the first place. They of course took on his contract from the Drew Holiday trade, but if they’re able to flip him for a very similar player in Kyle Guzma coming off a bit of a down season last year, so perhaps he could definitely thrive with a change of scenery, perhaps bounce back and just, you know, for those two players alone, one for one, this could be an upgrade already. AJ Green you throw in there as well. That’s a good piece to add to the puzzle. And most importantly, the 2027 New Orleans Pelicans first round draft pick that can sneakily be an amazing draft pick. So, not only could the Celtics be getting better from an upgrade on Anthony Simons in the form of Kyle Kosma and potentially a bounceback candidate, but they’re potentially getting back a lottery high-end first round draft pick just a couple of years down the road. So, from the Bucks perspective, I understand they might want to get rid of Kyle Kosma because it didn’t work last year. They want to surround Giannis with players that can help them win a championship. Now, is Anthony Simons that guy? Like, he’s not a bad player by any stretch, but is this worth overpaying for a player like Simons? Giving up that first round draft pick as well. And Kyle Kosma selling pretty low on him to me to to me personally speaking, I wouldn’t do this deal if I’m the Bucks. I think you’re giving up a lot in return for, you know, a solid player, but not a player that I would trade this much for in my opinion. So, for those reasons, without a doubt, I think the winner of this deal would be the Boston Celtics. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
