The Miami Heat Might ACTUALLY Trade for LeBron James… and I NEED It To Happen
All right, let’s do the LeBron James video. I was hesitant on covering this topic because certainly a LeBron James reunion in Miami is just a pipe dream, right? I mean, I think even the Lakers actually trading the person who I consider the GOAT, I mean, that would never happen, right? I mean, except for the fact that it might. Hey, Vsauce, Michael here. I already know I’m going to get some comments saying, “Oh, how can you say LeBron is the GOAT when Jordan is six for six and he’s not even better than Kobe and blah blah blah blah blah.” Like, I’m not going to get in a GOAT debate with you. I I hate the goat debate. It’s the laziest topic that they constantly discuss on ESPN because none of those guys actually watch basketball. So, I’m not going to argue it with you because I was 5 years old when Jordan retired from the Wizards. And LeBron James is literally the reason that I started watching basketball. So, you’re not going to change my mind. He’ll always be the GOAT. And not only is he the reason why I started watching basketball, but LeBron James quite literally also changed my life. Believe it or not, I used to hate sports. I remember being in middle school and like the only players all time that I knew was Kobe, Shaq, Wade, LeBron, and Jordan. That was it. I remember playing Call of Duty and thinking this game is awesome. Anybody that plays 2K or other sports games, those people are dumb. You know, like unfortunately, I was only 8 years old when the Heat won in 2006. And the only things that I remember about that is I remember being on vacation during the finals. And I remember my dad watching game three. The Heat were already down 200 in the series. The Heat were down double digits in the fourth quarter. And my dad, he went to bed frustrated. He’s like, “Oh, the Heat are going to lose this series.” Next thing he knows, he wakes up in the mornings morning saw Dwayne Wade scored like 24 fourth quarter points and he ended up winning and actually not losing a game the rest of the series. So my dad, believe it or not, took credit for that game three win in 2006 cuz he said as soon as he shut the TV off is when the Heat went on a run. So, shout out to him. Uh, so he I remember that and then I also remember watching the parade a little bit with him back in 2006. Uh, but outside of the Heat, I mean, all the all the other local teams sucked when I was growing up. The Hurricanes and Marlins, they won a couple rings. Uh, when I was a baby, the last time the Dolphins won a playoff game, I was 2 years old, right? So although my dad was a diehard Miami sports fan from the time when he was growing up, none of the other teams were good when I was growing up, not enough to make me interested at least. That of course is until something called the decision which actually was 15 years ago uh to the day a couple days ago. So of course a lot of people were reminiscing on that. Uh I I had a lot of friends remembering where they were. They were all screaming and stuff and me I don’t know what I was doing. I I probably was playing Guitar Hero somewhere wondering what the hell a Chris Boss was at the time. One of my biggest regrets. I I wish I was a Heat fan back when the decision was happening. Oh, I would have been crazy. But of course, the decision happened and I kept hearing about this LeBron guy joining the Miami Heat. So, one day I decided, hey, let me sit down with my dad. Let me actually watch a game. And then I absolutely fell in love. Like the rest is history. Watched every single game of those of that big three era. uh remember it like it was yesterday and I was hooked and here we are 15 years later and I I got a pretty decent Miami Heat YouTube channel uh thanks to all y’all. So basketball’s obviously been such a big part of my life uh not only uh talking about it and watching it but playing it uh it’s such a substantial part of my life that I can confidently say I would not be where I’m at today without LeBron James ever coming to the Heat. Which is crazy. like this random dude making a decision to go play basketball somewhere has had a profound impact on my life. And hopefully I get the the opportunity one day to just thank LeBron and for everything that he did cuz seriously, I would have different friends. I wouldn’t have the same girlfriend. I’d probably be living somewhere else. Uh I would definitely say my health would be worse. I used to weigh over 300 lb in high school before I I started taking basketball seriously. You know, I got into basketball during middle school with LeBron. Then I started playing and then I wanted to be on the team. So in 10 months between 10th and 11th grade, I lost 111 pounds and that was just solely so I could be better at basketball. Of course, none of that would have ever happened without LeBron. And yeah, I was pretty petty when LeBron left. Uh I I’ve told the story a couple times. I was actually at Miami Heat camp with Tony Furantino. I shed a couple of tears. There was a kid there who was wearing a LeBron shirt and the kid pretended to hand me a lighter and he’s like, “Oh, you want a lighter so you can burn that shirt?” I shed a few tears, you know. I was sad. I surrounded by hundreds of Heat fans the second LeBron said he was left in our left our city, you know. So, it it was a sad time. You know, I was petty for a while. Uh but uh then LeBron won a couple of rings. I got a bit older. I grew less petty. So, uh at this point, I would absolutely love if LeBron James came back to my city. I I mean, of course, uh I know a lot of Heat fans will say, “Hey, he’s 42 years old. He’s washed. He’s overpaid. I wouldn’t give up assets to get him. And those are all fair points. So, what I did is I actually took some time to craft a wellthoughtout uh response to explain how I feel about that mindset. Uh and it goes as follows. Uh don’t care. If you have a chance to get the greatest player of all time in your franchise, that is something that you do. He could be the worst player in the league and I still wouldn’t care. Now, I’m definitely not one of those diehard LeBron Glazers that be doing some weird stuff on the internet. I’m not out here dancing around singing, “You are my sunshine.” No, I’m not doing all that. But I can at least acknowledge everything that LeBron James brings to a city because having someone of his stardom around is bigger than basketball. Like the kind of impact that he has on a city, uh, it just means so much more. We’re seeing it with Messi. Look, look what Messi’s doing. He came to Miami. Now they’re building this huge shopping center, stadium, Freedom Park. Like it just it has a a tangible impact in the city of Miami and just general South Florida that you can feel. So, uh, that’s why I would love LeBron back, you know, for for those reasons, too. But even outside of that, like LeBron is not a bum, okay? I still believe that he is one of the best players in the entire world. I don’t actually think that part’s debatable. You can’t debate that he’s a a top 10 player in the world at the very least. You know, you can debate where he ranks. Me personally, I like to rank guys based off who I would choose to have in a singular playoff run. Not going forward, but like if there’s one playoff run right now, cuz I value the playoffs. That’s why I don’t like James Harden, Paul George. No, I like Jimmy Butler. We’re in the new setup. I I got the Jimmy Butler jersey up cuz I still rock with Jimmy. He’s a playoff riser. That’s what I value. So, if I have to choose guys that I would choose in a playoff run right now, I’d probably go Jokic one, Giannis two. I’d probably go Luca and Shay three and four. And at five, I’m probably going LeBron. To this day, if I had one playoff series, I probably would choose LeBron fifth. He’s very close with guys, you know, like Curry and Durant. Anthony Edwards is climbing his way up there. But right now, I probably got LeBron at five, but I don’t think it’s debatable that he’s top 10. Uh, and obviously, the the numbers speak for themselves. if if you didn’t even know his age. And I just showed you last season a guy that averaged 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assist or uh or eight assists and eight rebounds basically on 51% shooting and 38% from three on six attempts. If I showed you those numbers, you’d say this guy probably had a solid MVP pace last year. Well, he really didn’t. But still, you know, he’s still a great player. That was LeBron James, of course. you know, he’s still solid defensively a lot of times. Still, last year at 40, what 40 years old, he was guarding the best player on the other team. You know, he’s not always engaged, so he can’t do that anymore. But when he wants to, like in a playoff series, for example, he can still be a very impactful defender. And he’s played 70 plus games the last couple of years. So, he’s a guy that is still playing. He’s productive. I’ve been saying for a while now that the Heat’s biggest flaw is their lack of a true point guard, a true facilitator. We’re hoping that could be conspiracy. He’s 19. He’s still a few years away. But what LeBron is, what LeBron does best, that is passing the ball. He still has elite IQ, elite vision, and those are things that you don’t lose with age. So, he’ll still be able to do that at an elite all-time level for for as many years as he wants to, truthfully. Obviously, he may only play in the NBA one or two more years, but that’d be fine. But with me, I don’t care. Get get a two-year championship window because right now, who knows how far the Heat are away from another championship window, you know? And I think the Heat would have that or LeBron, they could have a starting lineup of Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Braun, Bam, and Wear. You give LeBron spacing of Hero and Norman. You know, he loves to play with his shooters. We saw Bam Bio close out last season shooting like 40% from three on the second half of the year. Khil Wear’s out there with this beautiful new jump shot in summerly just making it rain all over the place. LeBron would have incredible spacing. He’d have great lob threats. He’d have Bam at a bio and Khalil Wear to help defensively inside. And he would also have Bam Bio to guard the best perimeter player on the other team just like we saw a little bit with Anthony Davis. Then they traded in for Luca. Boom. LeBron’s guarding the best player again. Unless you want Roy Hachi Murray to do it like no. LeBron was doing it, but now we’d have Bamab. So in the East, that’s clearly a team that I’d say is a finals team. I would even say they’re the favorites to go to the finals truthfully. The Cavs, bunch of choke artists. You got, you know, Tatum Herd, Dame Herd, Halleurn. Like next year would be the year to go all in. And also it’d be really cool to get LeBron on his retirement tour, you know, assuming he retires with the Heats. I could see him playing two years here and then like going back to Cleveland three years from now and as a retirement tour, but if he stays, it’ll be cool to see. You know, I was fortunate enough to go to several games of Dwayne Wade’s retirement tour. Uh, and just the atmosphere is uh unmatched, you know. So, I think it’d be awesome. Uh, and it’s not just me that feels that way about LeBron coming back. Pat Riley said a few years ago, the key is under the mat. It’s very clear that that uh bridge that was burned has sort of me mended itself a little bit. Uh even in his most recent press conference, you know, from the offseason, Pat Riley said that he’s willing to manage an aging star specifically referenced LeBron James. We thought he might be talking about KD. Then we thought maybe D Rozan, but maybe he was talking about LeBron, truthfully. So, we know he’d be willing to bring him back. And then even Udonis Hasslam was on ESPN just yesterday, actually, uh, and said, “I know a place where LeBron will be welcomed back.” Of course, he can’t say Miami because he works for the Heat, but we all know he was pretty publicly saying that he would welcome LeBron James back. So, if UD and Pat want LeBron back, then I don’t think Heat fans should be scared about going after LeBron. Also, would LeBron want to come back? I don’t know. Does he want to win or does he want a nice lifestyle? Cuz Miami can get him a nice lifestyle. Could they win with him? Maybe. But I do think there’s better options out there. Of course, if Cleveland was able to swing a trade, I know they’d have to move a bunch of pieces and stuff, but there’s obviously better teams set up to win than the Heat, but I think the Heat would still be a a team contending to go to the finals and then whatever happens happens. So, whether he wants to come, I don’t know, but I definitely think we have some pieces that the Lakers would be interested in. It was reported the other day, although it’s pretty much just the obvious, that in a LeBron potential LeBron trade, the Lakers would want expiring money in return. Of course, that’s so they can get Luca Don more help. They’re going to need money because Luca’s up for an extension. He still hasn’t signed, by the way. So, maybe he can get in on that, too. Uh, I would hate to not get Luca because we already got LeBron, though. And I don’t know. I think those guys have a good relationship. It would just be funny to see that LeBron left the Lakers and then they both came to Miami. I just can’t see that happening. Uh it did also seem like LeBron was a little salty that Lakers management uh happened to tell Luca about the sale but not tell LeBron about the sale of the team. Uh so I don’t think LeBron should have resentment towards Luca about that but I don’t know. But either way, not very many teams have that much expiring money to mass LeBron James $52 million. I think I saw a report that it’s just the Laker or the Clippers in the Heat. I didn’t look into what the Clippers have to offer cuz I don’t want to make this a trade ccentric video. We’ll do that in a another video in the near future probably. But a rough example of what a a trade with the Heat could look like is the Heat get LeBron, Gabe Vincent’s expiring and then Bronny James and then the Lakers get Wiggins, Terry Haywood, Jame Hakez and then we can offer as much as four first round picks. I just put three in here, but whatever. I’d probably even trade a first for LeBron because he’s LeBron. Would it be a dumb move in terms of making a good basketball team? Probably trading a first round pick for a 41year-old, but whatever. I don’t think that he would have to do it. I didn’t hear, so I just gave him some seconds. Obviously, from the Lakers side of things, Terry or Wiggins is not in expiring, but he has a player option for the season after next. So, at most he’d only have two more years left, including next year. So, it’s not a super long-term contract. Maybe he opts out anyways. And he still is a productive player that would fit very nice next to Luca. So, he’s a good player. The real value is getting uh Terry Rosier’s 26 million expiring. And then Haywood is expiring. Jame haka is obviously still on a cheap rookie deal. So if you’re you’re the Lakers, you’re basically able to shed half of LeBron’s salary next off season. You get a nice young player in Jame and you get a few second round picks and a productive players uh in Wiggins and Highmith. I think this a good trade for the Lakers and then for the Heats uh obviously getting LeBron. I love Gabe Vincent. Always will. I don’t know if he’d play, you know, especially now that you resigned DaVon Mitchell, you got Norman Powell, but Gabe is obviously a guy you trust to come off the bench if you need to. And then Bronny James, people are assuming, you know, he’ll follow LeBron wherever he goes. But Bronny James been playing so damn well in summer league. He might be more than just a throwin at this point. I mean, the defensive stuff is real. And if anybody could get the most out of Bronny James talents, especially defensively, it’s the Heat. Maybe LeBron’s looking at that, too. Maybe LeBron saying, “Hey, I know how well the Heat developed talent. Let me get my son in that system.” And they’ll turn him into a productive player. But he’s been shooting the ball well. He’s been handling the ball well. And the defensively, he’s been a menace. So, don’t sleep on the Bronny James edition of this either. But, I don’t know. I kind of want to hear what y’all have to think. Let me know down in the comments below what you think about this trade and just adding in LeBron to this team overall. Are you for it? Are you against it? Maybe drop your uh your memories of the decision, too, since we’re 15 years removed from that. Very curious to hear y’all stories on that. Also, like the video and subscribe cuz that stuff that stuff is greatly appreciated. I do uh want to thank y’all for the support and I’ll see y’all in the next video. Peace out, everyone. Trying to get that dead face. Do it on my own. I don’t need no dead weight. Had a killer off. Yeah, I need a head space. You know this homegrown don’t offend me.

What team do you think LeBron James starts next season with?
We not getting LeBron James, we getting LeUnc James 😂😂😭😭 // As much as I would like this to happen, the best he would give us is 1 full year before he decides to retire. It won’t help Bam long term like a Dame and Oladipo at the cheap would tbh UNLESS we get Bron, Dame, and Dipo together now that I can entertain 👀
Can Herro, Powell, LBJ, Bam, Ware, Mitchell, Jovic, as a top playoff 7 win the ECF and go on to play in the finals? I dont see why not. So go for it.
If we get le balco James I'm not watching I'm sick of his egotistical act he needs to retire like now
Terry Quote : “ LeBron James Over Me ? “ 😂😂😂
If we get LBJ again he might not be the guy he was from 2010-2014, but for this year back where he one his first two rings with the heat, i believe he will give us one hell of a finale and run towards the finals word 🔥
I want to see an elite playmaker on this team for once.
After the whole Whopper Lowry and Terryble Rozier experience 🤦♂️ .
Imagine Lebron driving the lane with Herro and Powell at the 3 point line.
You don’t have to sell me.
I would gladly trade Herro and Wiggins for the Brons and KNOW we win the deal.
First, I like Bronny. I think he’s going to be a useful player at the very worst.
The value of having Lebron around the team after he retires, while he’s still playing, whatever, it’s beyond most people’s understanding. It would be the absolute best thing for Bam, for Niko, for all the young guys, the older guys, everyone. It would help get more great players to Miami.
If you think UD has value to this team, it’s a joke compared to what Lebron would be.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’ll be fun for us if we’re able to land LeBron, and a good closure to his career if he returns to Miami. He’s still better than most players in the NBA.
Wow didn't know about the weight loss.. Congrats, that is one hell of a drop in weight….I had no idea your weree a fat kid growing up… losing a lot of weight and changing your body is one of the hardest things you can do..Mad props
Nooooooooooooooooooooo
AD…if that Butler jersey is not signed, can we replace it with a Wade jersey? 😉
Wether you want to debate it or not, LeBron is not the goat. There's actually no possible argument or debate about it
If i'm the heat,,, i would rather get rid of Terry Rozier,,, he is under investigation again!
Nahh bro don’t want him
Jordan> LeBron
Bro if we get the dream LeBron retiring in Miami scenario I’ll cry 😭😭😭 make it happen!!!!!!!!! Norm Bron Tyler Bam is near a contender
Of course you think Lebron is the goat you started watching basketball in 2011 😂😂 Lebron is no goat. Lebron is a slime ball. Damn stop the Lebron glazing it’s really sad. Bronny James in the heat. Bro I’m about to unfollow you.
Thinking Bron Bron will make the Heat better, is like playing roulette with a switch.
4:23 new profile pic on my twitter burner?? 👀👀 lmfaooo
what the fk? That chubby kid was you? What was happened? I really want to loose weight but failed……
Pat mine as well do it with all these injuries and a really weak East are the chances to win it all with lebron even low nope just do it wiggins rozier Jacquez we getting a improved bronny too spo wouof definitely make bronny a good rotational player
If lebalco comes back dame comin fosho
Bring is definitely the goat of his time
This would move the needle wiggins (who lakers want), rozier (expiring), ans jacquez (young talent cheap conteact) for bron and bronny. Good for both sides. Lebron will leave next summer or retire anyway. Lakers will get something in return. The heat could be competitive and probably have the best chance to develope bronny. They've done more with less. This move should happen but knowing the heat front office stubbornness it probably won't
I remember watching the training camp with my dad in the living room I fall in love I was 8
Hey watch your mouth about those Miami Hurricanes! The U put Miami on the map! –#TheU
Bron makes starting Herro and Powell the right choice because Herro wouldn’t be the point guard. Bron would have two great shooters do dish to. Bam and Ware would be catching lobs all game. It would be Splash Brothers AND Lob City at the same time. He unlocks this rosters potential. And he’s an expiring contract so we can move on if need be. If it’s Rozier, Wiggins, JJJ, I do that a hundred times out of ten.
Even if we don't "win" with Bron, the amount of knowledge our young players can absorb in just one season would be insane. Kind of like CP3 on OKC for that one season.
Anyone saying Bron needs to retire is a moron. Anyone saying we don’t want him is thinking with their feelings and we’re damn lucky they aren’t the GM. You don’t have to be a fan of him to let him help us win a championship. He’s a whore and we’re renting him
Lebron is your Goat not the Goat …..I need to unsubscribe
I won’t debate it cause it’s your opinion. You’re entitled to your opinion but he’s not 😂. Good shit bro, nothing but love
I say go get him if we can. Why not? He will win a couple more chips with the Heat.
I think that trade would be excellent for both organizations. I wish I lived in Florida. Stuck up here in Ohio but love my Miami Heat.
No. Just no
Nah
Brilliant 👏
Take down that Butler jersey man it’s the name on the front of the jersey we rooting for
Take Pat Riley's phone! Please No!
Holy hell that was you at that weight 😱
MJ was so cold that Pat retired his jersey without Michael Jordan (MJ) having to play for the Heat. But you tripping because Wade had a ring before Lechoke came to Miami and Spo became the head coach. 😅😅😅😅
