So, no one thinks that Walsh is going to replace Jason Tatum, but for him, this could be an opportunity to really really solidify yourself and get in the rotation. Second, third chance opportunity inside and that’s Bassie. And that’s what he’s all about. He’s all about hustle, activity, getting on the glass and you mentioned it his last game out 14 and 11 going to give you that big time presence at the front. Dawara Naji working the high screen and roll from two big men. Dawara driving and is blocked by Bassie. Diar with a great move but Bassie saying return to center. And the Knicks certainly have the offensive firepower and a balanced roster to do so if more guys are able to Watson continuing to play top tier defense. Forces a tough shot. Bassie on the glass. Confident scorer can get it done at the free throw line as well. Oh, and Bassie fouled on the way up and had an opportunity to turn that into a nasty alleyoop three-point play. Yeah, Bassie had a chance to really bring the house down with that one. 10 rebounds, three blocks, four steals. Like that’s the type of player you really want to build your franchise around. A guy that can do multiple things. Tyler Kick looking for the basket. And they’ll count that as a goalending. He needed that as he was one for 12 before that if that was swatted away. And they are going to challenge this goalend call. The Celtics. That is what’s happening right now. So for the Boston Celtics, Matt Reynolds, you heard Brad Stevens say it, the summer league head coach. He’s in charge of the challenges during the regular season. He has been successful on two challenges today, including that one on the Bassie block that was originally called a goalende. Ask you this very important question. Unfortunately, Bassey will be picked up by other teams. We can barely scrape by with money as is and just have Queta and Garza as our bigs. Just hope the NBA keep spamming threes so at least we can get away with the lack of paint defense.

Bassey Queta Garza is a trio that may not impress, but definitely has upside. Plus there's Amari who can step up if/when needed
From now on, all Brad has to do is to trade Simons+Niang (maybe Hauser too?) for young, cost-controlled PG, SG, PF
I think Crap Peevens has finally come around and realize that even if he canβt forsake his love for the three point shot he can at least come to the realization that our big man center does not need to be a three point shooter hanging around the perimeter and heβs much better suited to grab rebounds and work the interior for a successful team.

He's not a springy jumper, but healthy, here, he jumps well enough to make good use of his size. Good hands, good brains, decent-to-better touch around the basket. Good energy. He probably will end up on some other team, but he's got Serviceable Back-Up Center all over him.

the reason why he didn't pan out on the spurs was cause he is injury prone, the last 2 season he was injured most of the time, he would come back then get injured or reaggravated the same injury. when he did play, he looked GREAT, got blocks and rebounds and was a dunk machine!
If we keep this guy and Anfernee Simmons and we resign Horford to the vet minimum and Garza and Binnioit is decent I think we have a squad especially cause Brownie is set to show out and take it even more offensive responsibility.
With the exception of Al and kristap, the Celtics love these types of centers. Non shooting, decent athleticism, gets transition points guys
