Is Bradley Bill not better than Norman Pal? Um, so again, according to um, Sham’s threetime allstar Bradley Bill agreed to a contract buyout with the Phoenix Suns. He plans to join the Los Angeles Clippers on a 2-year 11 million deal with a player option after clearing waiverss. Um, here’s my reaction. Y’all know I am not the biggest Bradley Bill guy. I’m not I’m not a big fan. I’m not a I never been a bet like a big Bradley Bill guy. But getting Bradley Bill for basically five 5.5 million a year to play a limited role. Now, I think he’s gonna start for sure. He’s gonna start. No doubt about it. Um, but I don’t I I’m not mad at this move. I have my questions about the defense. Um, he has been injuryprone. He’s he didn’t miss. Matter of fact, I pull it up. How many games he played? He miss Heen been missing a lot of games. He been dealing with shoulder injuries, little knickknack injury here and there. But again, he’s on a much better team compared to Phoenix. I mean, Clippers are a better team, more balance. You got John Collins. By the way, I want to say this, Lawrence Frank, he did a great job this off season. He addressed the He addressed the Los Angeles Clippers needs. They need more size. They need a back 05. They need a starting power forward. Allow Kawhin to go back to the three. and you had to give up Norm and then you replace Norm with a Bradley Bill who averaged 17 points, three rebounds, close to four assists on 49% from the field. Um, look at his uh he shot 38% from the three. The the the year before that he averaged 18 points, 51% from the field, 43 from the three. He’s going to get a a lot of open shots on this team. playing with James Harden, playing with Kawhi L, Big Zoo, John Collins, a five assist. Now, he only played 53 games last year. That’s the problem, though. That’s the problem. Durability. Availability is the best ability. Bradley Bill having played I think a full season since the short the short the short year in 2021 if I’m not mistake. Yeah, he played 60 games. I think the shortening season if I’m not mistaken it was 60 games in the 2021 season, right? Or was it more than that? Let me see if I’m not mistaken. season NBA season was if I’m not mistaken how many games are played let’s see it was 72 okay so he missed 12 games okay so it was 72 games played in um the year 202021 he really Haven’t played a lot of games after that though y’all. Honestly, he missed a lot of games. He played 60 games, 21, 40 games and 22, 50 and 23, 53 and 24. Last year he played 53 games. Again, I love the pickup though, for sure. I love this pickup for a limited role. You’re not paying him $53 million. And um there are talks about Chris Paul. I think Chris Paul is also going to join the Los Angeles Clippers. Chris uh Chris Paul, he wants to he wants to play in Los Angeles. It’s going to be his final year. He wants a chance to win the championship. What What’s a better way to end your career win a championship with the Clippers? I’m just saying. I I look I I like the I like this Clipper team. And then on top of that, we kept Dar Jones Jr. We kept um Chris Dunn. Yeah. I Yeah, they are older. Don’t get me wrong. He said show the uh 2 and0 so far. Yeah, I agree with you babe. Look salute little to you. Yeah, they are older. I will say that. That’s a concern. Hey, championship. I’m thinking about championship, man. Championship. Championship. My concern though, two things, three things actually. My concern with this team is number one always gonna be injuries with Kawhi Lonard, Bradley Bill. Number two, can we um hopefully our defensive identity, the identity we built last year is going to carry on with this team. this team. If this team top three in defense, we for sure going to be a top three team in the West Conference. If we top If this team right here top three in defense, we have to be this team right here, they have to be top three in defense. If we not a top three defense team this year, we’re not going to be good enough to win no championship. I will say that this team is older. So hopefully um they got y’all they they got Bogey $18 million. Just me personally, y’all, I would try I would try to move him and go get another like uh three and D, somebody with you and that plays more defense that can also space the floor. I don’t like I I me personally, I don’t love the rotation of Bogey and Bradley Bill that I’m not in love with that. But I like I like the fact we kept Dar John Jr., Chris Dunn, John K. So we got some youth, though. But we got we also got a old some older guys, too. Some We got some older guys. If you bring on Chris Paul, that’s not that’s that’s just too old. We need some more. We need some younger dogs also. I want to see younger players. Mix it up a little bit. Then they got Brook Lopez. So, we got Lopez, who’s what, close to 40. Chris Pow, 40. Bradley Bill, he’s 32 years old. Still kind of young, but he’s been injuryprone last couple years. You know, um James Harden, 35. Now, one thing about James Harden, he’s going to play every game. That’s one thing about James Harden. Um and that’s it’s been proven that James Harden, he knows how to make everybody better. He takes a lot of pressure off of Kawhi Leonard. Zuba had his career year playing with James Harden. Again, I like I like the um the pros. The my the pros make me excited about this team. The cons though, there are some cons to having a bunch of older players on this team and especially if you’re going to start Bradley Bill. Especially if you’re going to start Bradley Bill. Now, Bradley Bill on the bright side, he’s going to take pressure off James Harden in the playoffs when James Harden, you know, he every series he’s going to give us two, three good games per series. I mean, got to be honest, we got another guy that we can rely on to make shots and also he can playmate. So again, having John Collins, I think having John Collins going out there, get Brook Lopez as back five, I think that’s going to um definitely help the Clippers out, especially when they have them games where they’re not making shots. So you can kind of rely on your size to kind of get you, you know, you can rely on size and defense to get you to get you to win. You know, we we able to rebound a lot better this year, you know. So I’m looking at like that. Uh it said said Laker fans did all that talking about getting Bill and he goes to the Clippers. Oh yeah, man. Come on. Stop it. Bradley Bill was going to the Clippers. The Clippers. Everybody keep saying all these players going to the Lakers. This player going to the Lakers. And I’m going to talk about the Lakers actually later. I’m I’m It’s funny you brought that up. Yeah, we’ll get to that later. I definitely We definitely got to spin a block on the Lakers. Um, so Bradley a winning player? Now, Bradley Bill and Kawhi Leonard is two out of five players that average at least 15 points a game on 504 shooting splits the last two years. Now we do have Cam Christie on the bench. Hopefully. I’m I’m I’m hoping like I’m hoping Cam Christie takes a leap this year that he’ll be big for us offensive, defensive, if he anything like Max Christie. We know this. But if I can get 60 games out of Kawhi L 60 games out of Kawawaii. James Harden, he’s going to play no less than 77 games. You got Bradley Bill.
