WOW. NBA Insider with SNY Ian Begley just dropped a bombshell report. One of the main reasons the Knicks are delaying the Mikal Bridges contract extension is because they are waiting for everything to be settled in Milwaukee first, specifically with Giannis Antetokounmpo. If NY signs Bridges now, then he cannot be traded for six months. I see a three way deal with Giannis going to the Knicks. Milwaukee gets Mikal Bridges and Kat going to Suns for assets that would be sent to Milwaukee.

And Mikail Bridges waiting doesn’t even hurt him because you can get more money sign in the extension next year off-season but I just have this feeling that if we end up getting Giannis it will be like right around the corner before media day
Help me understand how did Randle sign a contract for $15 mil less a year than KAT? I would have rather have kept Randle and Donte and pick over KAT.
What if Giannis doesn’t leave and Bridges doesn’t sign extension? Don’t we still have to trade Bridges or lose him for nothing.
We didn't use mikal right last season.. But if we can get GIANNIS we trade him..otherwise he gets 1 more year to step up..
Giannis is not coming n if he do it’s going to be more than one player plus Bridges is gonna take a pay cut being Brunson took a pay cut to get him.

The three way deal should be the Knicks, Milwaukee, and San Antonio. San Antonio gets KAT and some second round picks from the Knicks and Milwaukee gets trade assets from San Antonio and their guard and forward and we get Giannis
Phoenix and Milwaukee do not have their own picks until 2030…so phoenix doesn’t have anything we want but if San Antonio gets involved with their draft capital and what we can offer in a player like KAT or Bridges could work for everyone.
As a Bucks fan, I know for a fact that Giannis will not only be staying in Milwaukee, but will retire his jersey there. Jon Horst (GM) said it best just recently. Ignore the rumors on a Giannis trade because Giannis is said he wil never ask out of Milwaukee and the franchise has no intentions on trading him. He said the Giannis trade talk is all on the ousiders, and no trade talks on either side is not necessary. So Knicks, do what you must, because Giannis loves Milwaukee having no plans to ever leave. Come on now. He has said repeatedly over the last few weeks, he wants to and intends to stay with the Bucks. But if he is traded, he also said clearly, he doesn't want to go to the Knicks. He said the city is not his vibe. Insighters make stuff up all day. That's what they do. I like Knicks channels, but this repetition of made-up trade rumors is a turn-off.

As long as we keep, Bridges, OG, Hart(obviously the Captain) I don't care what it takes, which would be highly unlikely but if Giannis wants out, he holds the power like Jimmy & the Heat, Jimmy overrated but look at what they got for him, he's their franchise player lol.
1. Giannis is under contract for 3 years so regardless of what Giannis wants they don’t have to trade him. 2. Even If the Bucks were to consider it why would they want Bridges when they could ask for a package centered around Brunson and additional players to make the salaries work? I don’t see it happening.
