“If the market doesn’t dictate what he wants, ultimately, you can use that trade kicker to get back some of that money you feel like you may not be able to get at this point in the market given the teams that just don’t have a lot of cap space. And with him, you’d have to be doing a sign-and-trade deal I know some people have mentioned Brooklyn. I don’t see that ultimately from my sources. So, I think that narrows it down a bit. Big picture, there’s been talk about you guys in Sacramento for sure, but I also think if that’s going to happen, there’s got to be a moving of parts here, whether it’s a Malik Monk to DeMar DeRozan, even if it’s not to go somewhere like a three-team deal. So, there’s a lot of variables to whether Jonathan Kuminga can go to Sacramento or anywhere. So ultimately there is a decent chance that he could stay in Golden State, get a deal that you can potentially look to flip going into the February trade deadline or possibly even a little bit before that”

JK is not a 30 million per year player, everyone keeps talking like going to another team is going to change his output, it won’t….. in fact it may get worse just look at Jordan Poole……JK needs to realize he has only 4 yrs in the league and he is still learning the game…..and the business, he should have taken the 5 yrs 150 million extension that was offered a year ago but bad counsel or agent had him thinking he was better than he was! He see now he is not as valued as he thought around the league and he can’t blame Steve Kerr……because hoopers hoop no matter what the situation is.

Trading Kuminga will benefit both the Warriors and Kuminga. Trade him for a low first-round draft pick, and try not to muck it up by drafting another flat player like James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga. Draft a player who played college ball for four years. It's not only experience, but also character developed through education, that holds value. First-round graduate.
