Wilsonville โฆ the old Incredible Universe/Fryโs!
Sounds like relocation is on the table.
Welp, if they move, at least they won't be blacked out on league pass.
doesn't sound good
the scare part of silver's comments were that they he umprompted brought up a new arena. and coupled it with preference…
They leaving. Just another reason Portland sucks. The people who live here have their heads on backwards.
Lame. I won't watch them if they move.
Why is it mandatory for a new arena? It makes no logical sense.
He was definitely using leverage
I visited the Moda Center last year for a Blazers game game and nothing shows that the team needs a new arena. Remodel and update yes, but not a new arena. The Moda Center is a great arena and if a larger scale renovation is done to it I could see the Moda Center being used for an another 20-30 years.
I donโt think residents of Seattle want to take the Blazers from the city. Seattle wants their own team and residents donโt want to see another city go through what they had to go through. Besides it would be better for the NBA to keep a Team in Portland and add one to Seattle because of travel and the added benefit of creating a marketable rivalry between Seattle and Portland.
Does anybody check the grammar on these titles ?? ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Phoenix Sunโs area is worse and older.
Well this is a shock. WTF?
If thought about the possibility of the city doing with the VMC what Seattle did with Key Arena and gut the entire building and keep the roof intact. But with that you run into the problem of space and cost and at that point it almost seems worth to just build a new arena intirely.
Fyi Sean Highkin, who asked Adam Silver the question, said he is still โvery unworriedโ about the Blazers relocating. I hate that moving is even a possibility, but it still seems very very unlikely.
Somthing odd is he says this bug they approved of a wnba team
100% should be worried. Seattle has an arena ready for an NBA team
If this Trail Blazers team "relocates", please let it be to Seattle.
