  1. This is not a big 3 switch Chet with hardstein then I won’t say anything but Chet was a no show mostly all centers showed him up and he couldn’t get past 12+ points at times or 8 boards

  2. You also gotta remember when these contracts kick in the CAP will continue to increase. These contracts might look like a bargain in 3 years.

  3. We been through this before..I’m assuming we run it with these guys for a few years and once they get to expensive we’ll ship guys out for more picks and continue to build through the draft for the upcoming future

  4. I have to say as someone who lived in OK for a long, Barry Trammel is an absolute clown and really shouldn't be taken seriously. And that article itself doesn't even say they're looking for suitors, just that the value has gone up a lot.

I really don't think the OKC ownership is going to sell, at least not the majority share. If anything, they might sell a portion of the team, somewhat like the Eagles did recently.

  5. Paying 3 players that much money will cripple your team. OKC window is one more year. After that, they better hope Sam Presti keeps drafting and developing the way they have been. If not, they will end up in the same boat as other teams with a depleted bench.

  6. Look, no big time free agent wver cone to okc by choice! Re-signing star players they draft an trade for is the only thing their money is good for so these signings are 10/10 for okc, if it was a LA, NYC, Texas or Florida yeah I'd understand holding off on the extension for chet, but it's not an OKC has to strike while the iron is hot so i believe this was a phenomenal move by the front office.

  7. Leave it to the NBA to make sure a small market team can't stay together but the second California gets a super team they'll just cancel the new rules typical big markets get favored that's why they win the chip 9 times out of 10 plus look at the warriors they didn't break them up whenever their starting line up was 5 all-stars an 2 MVPs but yeah let's make it hard for a small market team the second they start thriving make it to qere the big market teams can easily steal the developed players off of the small market teams it's a load of BS an clearly benefits LA teams

  8. I couldn't find if Jalen Williams' contract has a no trade clause. If not, it's possible the Thunder could roll with their big three for two years and then trade Jalen Williams so they can lock in more role players and get another good role player in the trade along with a bunch of 1st round picks to build around SGA and Chet.

An internet search said Chet does have a no trade clause.

I'm sure Presti's brain is weighing all options and will come up with a pretty good solution for handling it when the big contracts kick in.

I don't think there's any way the Thunder can hold on to Cason Wallace after his current contract is up. He will command a price well outside of what the Thunder can offer.

  9. YES ….. thankfully they have been saving the CBA TAX $ and investing that $ for the last 6 years anticipating if their talent developed ….. they are essentially paying them with CBA $$ !! Crazy smart !! Bad news for the league …. These guys are going to get BETTER !!! Wowza

  10. 238 for a guy average 15 8 2 πŸ€” this is a terrible deal a extreme overpay 3 seasons from now they going to say how horrible it it

  11. so presty will be the gm for three different owners and this punk wanna sell this team while people still complaining that okc exist in the first place

  12. You can tell it pains these analysts to call the thunder a model franchise and a potential dynasty. Their tone is so different from when they talk about California teams or the perennial losers we call The New York Knicks.

  13. Also, don't listen to anything. Barry has to say the dude hates everything. There is a reason why no player in OKC likes him lol

  14. Remember all the idiots claiming okc couldnt sign and keep all 3, but yeah they signed all 3 and are still under the cap, how about you just admit Presti is the goat and is smarter than you.

  15. Whats crazy is that for next season thunder pay sga+jdub +chet $60m compared to washed bench player lebrons 59m that no one wants, lmfao 🀣

  16. OKC right now with their big three is doing now what Denver did when Porter was still with him Porter being AKA Jalen Williams Shay SGA being the equivalent on of Jamal and of course Chet being what would the joker would be that's the big three now Denver has changed their situation obviously for the better A lot better I guarantee this will kick in and do time and it will be a problem for OKC it's going to be a problem financially and they will lose some key players not to mention this season all the other teams got way better and some of those other teams like Denver is still more battle-tested and they only got better way better and deeper

  17. I mean they are doing what they didn’t do with their first big three pay up. Okc has enough draft capital to work around the edges.

  18. Teams should not be punished for drafting well. Presti has put on a clinic finding these guys. The only guy on their team who was drafted highly is Chet holmgren. The rest of their guys are late lottery, 2nd rounders or even undrafted.

  19. The NBA salary cap for the 2025-26 season has been set at $154.647 million, representing a 10% increase from the previous season.

This cap, along with the tax level of $187.895 million, went into effect on July 1, 2025, so in year 3 if the cap doesnt go up, they only be able to sign vet min.

  20. OKC won on depth not just those three guys.. Those three guys arent Lebron bosh wade lol.. If they lose those rotation players they wont be winning..

  21. I think ihart is one 1️⃣ of the most important players for the thunder ! Listen to the mind the game podcast and listen to Steve Nash, LeBron and Kevin Durant ! They new to keep ihart and go in the 2 apron

  22. It looks like Tim will be accruing major frequent flier miles from Dallas to OKC for the foreseeable future.

Does he have a reseved bar stool at the Tipsy Tiki?

  23. Dont matter bc sga will foeveer viewed the same. The nba target audience either likes humble wholesome players or they like the complete opposite like Ai.

Sga is just a corny brotha. Thats why he well never be face of the league
