Clippers Land Bradley Beal: Instant Contenders? 🚨

🚨 Breaking news! Bradley Beal has agreed to a buyout with the Suns and will sign with the Clippers. Tom Haberstroh breaks down why this is a smart move for the Clippers, providing insurance for potential injuries to James Harden or Kawhi Leonard. Beal is a great catch-and-shoot player, and if healthy, this team could make the conference finals. The Clippers are now in the race with teams like Denver and Minnesota, and could be the second favorite to win the Western Conference Finals. For Phoenix, this move signals that they are waving the white flag and are done contending at the highest levels, moving towards rebuilding around Booker. Beal has $20 million on the books for the next five seasons.

  1. The title and thumbnail – why? What about any of this make you think they’re a contender ? None of these guys can stay healthy or be trusted

  2. They improved in the front court with Lopez and Collins (maybe they have an answer for Jokic) but Im not sure Beal moves the needle more than Norm Powell. We shall see.

  3. Clippers should have beaten Denver last series who went 7 with OKC it’s closer than you think… jokic air ball turns into an assist on the buzzer and got lucky in the 4th in game 1 … but Gordon was the difference in the series – so Clippers bring in Collins and Lopez. Beal is another level above Powell and Denver got better this off season as well.
It’s those 2 teams with OKC as the favs. Mainly because it’s hard to go back to back look at Boston who all the NBA analysts were picking is now in pieces.

  4. How can anyone who discusses basketball as a career watch Beal the last two years and claim he moves a needle anywhere??

  5. OKC doesn’t match up well with bigger talented teams. Clippers would destroy OKC in 6. Dunn, Derrick can guard SGA and no one can stop Kawhi. OKC too small, plus Zu would body em

  6. Suns flat our stupid with this.. should of bluffed Beal out and made him sit then trade him.. 5 years of dead cap for a team has no future anyway😂

Are clippers in 2nd apron now?
