So, in my personal opinion, this trade would actually be a pretty solid one for the Jazz to make because they are flipping some of their excess draft capital as well as their roster players for players that kind of fit the timeline of this roster now and make them better in the short term, but are also long-term players as well. Like, keep in mind, Anthony Simons, he’s on the last year of his deal. So, a bit of a risk there for the Jazz to run. But if they give this guy a little bit more minutes, maybe maybe make him a more focal point of the offense, they could potentially sign this guy long term and if they value him as a future piece of the franchise, he’s only 26 years old, so he kind of fits the timeline perfectly that way, I would say, for a team in Utah that is still rebuilding quite young and will be getting better in the future. So at some point, the Jazz sort of have to put all their draft capital and their players on the table, see what they can get for them, and take the next step as a franchise. Now, is it this simple with a Anthony Simons trade? Probably not. But if you’re a Jazz fan acquiring talented players, it’s pretty difficult for them, unless it is, of course, via the draft. So, going through the trademark, it might not be a terrible idea uh for them to consider. Now, from the Celtics perspective, I actually do like this trade quite a bit. Like, Ysef Nerk, he’s solid. He’s going to be fine for the short term. Um it’s not a long-term commitment by any stretch either. So, uh, they can kind of solidify the front courts, um, with an Al Horford replacement, for example, with Ysef Nerkage. So, not terrible there, but where you’re getting back some pretty decent value is that 2027 first round draft pick from the Lakers. Now, all signs point towards the Lakers possibly trading LeBron this off seasonason. So, if that’s going to be the case and LeBron’s not on the team beyond this year, maybe that draft pick’s a little bit weaker. So, maybe a free asset there. a second round draft pick. Nothing crazy there, but it’s always good to have more throws to the dart board, especially for Tim like Boston who drafts tremendously well. So those draft picks for an expiring contract in Anthony Simons is pretty tidy work in my personal opinion. So if I had to pick a winner of this deal, I’m actually going to go with the Boston Celtics in my opinion. But as always, leave your thoughts.
