Major Warriors Free Agency Updates… New Kuminga Suitor REVEALED

Folks, we have an update on Jonathan Kaminga. A new team is reportedly a suitor for his services in a sign and trade. As we know, stand still. Nothing is happening. So, who’s the new team? We’re going to break it down for you. In addition, it’s been about a week since we gone over what has happened in free agency trades, buyouts. So, reset the market. If the Warriors don’t get Kaminga, who’s still out there? If the Warriors do get Kaminga, who’s still out there, how would they make it work? So, we doing all that and warriors digest. Please like and subscribe, folks. You don’t want to miss anything. New suitor could maybe get us a nice little player in a sign and trade. What I’ve been breaking down for you guys, let me share my screen is summer league, of course, that’s happening in Vegas right now. The Warriors are 2-1. They won on Tuesday night. This video is being recorded on a Thursday, 9684 over the Grizzlies. their final game of summer league. You’re guaranteed four games in the regular season of summer league is Thursday this recording. They’re playing the Toronto Raptors who beat us in the NBA finals back in the late 2010s. Only two teams make the championship. I’m giving you just a high level. We’ll get into free agency in a second. OKC Young Guns, those won the championship 4-0. Unbelievable. Kings 4-0. Timberwolves 4-0. They’re done with the regular season. Warriors 2 and one. The best they can do is go 3-1. Of course, the Raptors, Spurs, these teams can go 4-0. And then at that point, it comes down to point differential. So, uh where’s the standings? This means the Warriors will not be playing in the summer league championship. They will have a fifth game on Saturday or Sunday as a consolation game. So, they’ll have a fifth game. if you care about summer league finals 9:00 PM Central East PM on Sunday. All right, there’s your summer league wrap-up. Now, let’s get to the news, folks. So, the biggest news is, let me make sure I have it. The Clippers have signed Bradley Beal. This came after he was bought out by the Phoenix Suns. And we talked about this happening on a previous video that Bradley Beiel is owed about $und00 million, just a round number. He got bought out. He gave up $14 million to get bought out and signed a 2-year $11 million deal with the Clippers. Second year as a player option, so basically 5.5 million per year. His stretch proision provision, excuse me, on the deal allows what they did with uh Dame Lillard up in Milwaukee. It’s stretched over years so you can assign players now. So it’s less of a salary cap hit now that Beal is a Clipper potentially Chris Paul point guard. Russell Westbrook point guard. Ben Simmons point guard. Malcolm Brogen guard can all potentially do their moves moving forward. Warriors need a backup at point guard. Would Chris Paul come back? Would Russell come play with us? I’ve seen people talk about Bun Ben Simmons uh could be a nice backup as well. Well, that plays into the Phoenix Suns now having some space with the wave. So, the Phoenix Suns per Jake L Fischer have interest in a sign and trade for Kaminga. Sources say Phoenix meanwhile is the latest team to express interest in a Kaminga sign and trade exploratory challenging it as it would be for the Suns to make such a deal happen. Fresh off completing a buyout of Bradley Beal this week, enabling the Suns to wave and stretch the hefty contract possessed by the three-time NBA All-Star guard, they have contacted both Kaminga’s representation and the Warriors to make their fondness for the bouncy swingman known. Okay, sign and trade, meaning we’d have to get somebody back from Phoenix. For the Suns to make this happen, this is where they’re at right now. They’re 2.1 million under the luxury tax, 8.6 6 million under the first apron, 20.5 million under the second apron. So, this is good because they were way over everything. Of course, KD’s gone. Of course, Beal’s gone. Helps them have some space, but if they’re over the second apron, they can’t make these trades and whatnot. Here’s the roster right now in terms of payroll for the Suns. Bradley Beal a lot of money. Of course, um this has now changed a bit. It’s not fully updated. They of course just got Jaylen Green and Dylan Brooks from Houston potentially. Would they be willing to give up Brooks or Green? Could Brooks and Draymond play together? Probably not. But again, we think Kaminga’s probably coming in 15 to 25 million in that range potentially. If not less, that would mean to stay under this apron. Kaminga’s deal would probably have to be 10 15 million because then if they do sign and trade you’re matching the money it would work in that sense. Also it would still have that flexibility if they’re doing a sign and trade because it would be a net net. Grayson Allen has had some nice moments. Can shoot a three. I’m not sure if I would want him a lot. Other than that I don’t know at all who I’d want from the Suns. They’re not giving up Jaylen Green. If we could get him at 23 coupe and now he’s your wing. Yes, I would take that. But there’s not a lot there that they have. Oops. Where is it? The Warriors have also been interested in the Anthony Melton, of course, coming back to the Warriors after tearing his ACL last year. I’ve broken this down many times. Curry and him were the best backcourt in the few games they played at the beginning of last season. So, it would be nice to have them, but unfortunately, like he’s coming off an ACL. How’s he going to play? Does he want to come back? There’s not a lot of options out there. That’s where you come to the free agent list. We look at everybody who’s been signed so far. While we’re in this Kaminga saga, and again, there’s been no update. Um, as Mike Divy Jr. says, he wants a player who can pass, dribble, and defend. Well, we look here. These are your players left. Again, Al Horford we’ve talked about as well deciding between us the Lakers retiring with the Lakers getting DeAndre Aiden most likely is us or retiring still undecided. GP2 is out there. Is there reunion to come back? Josh Giddy apparently him and the Bulls are not doing well together in their contract negotiations. So is that an opportunity for a sign and trade Josh Giddy for Kaminga? They’re the same age. Look at that. Year four, both of them. And maybe it’s a nice change of scenery for both players. Of course, Giddy was traded to the Bulls from the Thunder last year that brought them OKC got Alex Caruso Russell as a backup point guard. We need someone to back up Steph BP playing too many different roles and you need a dedicated backup point guard. Patty Mills backup point guard 37. Seth Curry’s out there. We’ve talked about that. So, not a lot of significant players. Cameron Payne, back at point guard, potentially out there. Damen Lee, Curry’s stepbrother, excuse me, step brother, a brother-in-law. Could he come back? But the quality of players is down significantly significantly. I don’t think the trade from the Sunsigned trade is going to happen because there’s not a lot of players there you want unless you’re trying to get Suns draft picks. Now, if we look up Suns draft picks, uh, what do they have? Not a lot because of all the trades that they’ve done. Now, they’ve made some trades back, which is good. That’s how they got the incoming picks. They own a couple of their later picks, but they really don’t have a lot. And you’re not giving up a first round pick probably for Kaminga. So, right now, it seems like, folks, I’m going to make myself big. That’s our draft picks right here. What you’re going to do is sign Kaminga. Either A, he takes the qualifying offer, one-year deal, and then he bets on himself next off seasonason, goes big, or he signs a two-year deal lined up with Curry, Draymond, and Butler, and then he has a thirdyear player option and can decide what happens then. But until then, again, still no real movement. trying to keep you updated. And we’re not just uh here to talk about rumors. That’s why we talk summer league and other things going on.
