Mo Vagner became an essential player and because of the way that he slowly and progressively improved and added value to this team to me Vagner is the greatest success story of this Magic rebuild. Yes, you need Paulo Vancero and France Vagner. You need all those high draft picks to be the team the Magic think they’re going to be this year. But it’s Mo Vagner. It’s players like Mo Vagner that make a rebuild successful, that make a team successful. And no doubt his injury had a major ripple effect on this entire roster. The Orlando Magic before Mov’s injury in December were fifth in the league in bench scoring at 40 points.
