Noa, Yuki & Lachlan shares stories and reflections at NBA Summer League ☀️ Chicago Bulls All-Access

Hey, yo. We said one. God **** He’s not following instructions right now. Want to start? I think that we just get better and better. after each game. We play better,
play better defense. I think that just like that’s the normal continuation. I think we keep winning today and tomorrow
and for the rest of the season. I mean, I think some of the other teams
had like a week of training camp prior to coming into Summer League,
and they had the other some leagues. So I feel like we only had like a couple,
a few days of training together and we didn’t really play. I feel like just the actual game style
we were just getting used to and obviously getting better every game
and I think we’ve done that. I played on the NBA last year. I feel like it’s a little bit different. We can use like ten personnel fouls,
Everybody can be physical. How do you feel? In the past experience
like summer league and NBA level? I mean, that’s way different.
Like I’m from Germany. I played in Germany last year
and it was like way different. Like, everything’s like slower in Germany. You got like, more time to pick your choice. If you want to shoot, drive, or whatever. I think, yeah, right here. You need to do everything faster. And everybody’s like, more physical,
more athletic. So since the beginning, we’re here
since the training camp, we just, like, feel good as a team, you know, like, on
the court was also off of the court. So I think that just, like,
keep grinding. Just being on the court, everybody is enjoying it. Like the guys on the bench, the guys on the court, we just try to stay all together. And I think that like all the team is as strong as possible. Keeping that high level of, like,
passing, getting each other open definitely contributes
to, you know, the win. Everybody on the team has a specific role. But these two guys will just like to shoutout to the way they play. Because they really give everything they can. They run off of each other. Lachie can just do everything, like, shoot, drive, set some crazy screens. And that’s the same for Yuki, he’s sees everything before anybody. He creates some crazy access for everybody. I appreciate it, man. I don’t speak English very well. But like, everybody, like, has helped me a lot. When I came here, when I came to Chicago. and especially, like, defensively, like, I’m not tall. But like, everybody has been able to help me a lot. That’s why I’m here. I mean, it was crazy, like the first day. I think you just got an offensive or something. and just like, all the crowd started going crazy. Yelling Yuki and everything. That was really dope. But I mean he deserves it. Like you played national, your team played really well. Also like it helps us on the game so that just like he deserve it. All that attention on him. It’s cool. You know, I’ve had a couple you know,
like different players in the past have had like like big fan favorites
like Kai Sotto from the Philippines, Hyun-jung Lee from South Korea. And, you know, it’s cool to kind of just like, see how it all kind of happens and like the fan base you’ve got coming out with like,
signs and posters is pretty cool. Like, how does that make you feel when you see your name just in the crowd and like a bunch of posters and stuff? Yeah, I feel good. I feel great. I just want to meet the expectation from my fans,
my coaches, my teammates. This is my mission. And also like, yeah,
I couldn’t have done it without them. Yuki’s probably one of the best passers in Summer League. And he makes it look cool as well. Like flashies, behind the backs, no looks, I feel like every pass he makes is a tough one. And like, Noa’s been like getting better every game. And he does everything on the court as well. So it’s cool to, you know, have like, Yuki’s got a lot of NBA experience already. So just like high caliber players
to be a part of the team, and having Matas as well. He always keeps working hard, keeps talking with teammates. He’s still young. He’s 20. But like he’s got real leadership. He keeps it light. He’s lighthearted,
like he’s funny and cracks jokes. But you know, he’ll keep it real with you. Like, he’ll come up to me and ask me how I’m feeling. Like, what do I see out there? And he’s telling me parts of my game and stuff like that. So it’s cool. It’s definitely cool to see someone so young develop into that leadership role a little bit. Yeah. I think that’s just a great moment for him. He’s like one of the guys on the team with more NBA experience. So he just tries to help us not only
on the court but also off the court to do something better, something good he’s going to tell you. So it’s really good to be next to him. Is there one thing each of you miss from your home? My family and me too. My family, my friends, my Japanese friends. I’d say like, not the blistering, like 100 degree heat. I feel like I miss regular weather, but something like that. It’s pretty hot. Like, even just out here,
sitting out here is just. And also French food. I miss French food. Like you can eat here, right? That’s not French food. How about a favorite thing from Vegas? The hoops. I would say just like Summer League in general. Like the whole process. Playing games, playing against each other. Playing against like new rooks. Know some new guys. I think that’s the best part right here. Anything else you guys wanna add? No no no.
