proven tonight, RJ. These teams love sharing the wealth out there. And you got to love it, Kevin. As a player, it’s always great to see a team functioning as a unit. Fans love to see everyone get involved. And now the Golden State Warriors starters. Golden State moving it around. Set up. Set up. Five to shoot. Lets the three fly. Alter pulls it in faster quickly. Here’s Marie Boy. Here’s Mo. And here is Quickley. Down low. Here’s Shamsh. And a beautiful feed leads to a monster jam. And that’s how you lead a team, literally. Richard quickly covering pass to Rome to the wing right side. Here’s post. No good on the triple and the Raptors with possession. Here’s quickly. Here’s Marie Bole. And the layup’s good off the glass. And once he got to the 10, I think he was surprised to find himself that wide open. Easy possessions like that literally are just a gift. You’ll just dream of them. He’ll gladly take those. Yep. That one goes in there. Taking it up strong against size he does not lack for confidence. Really putting the bigger defender on his heels. I love seeing aggressive finishes like that. Here’s Walter. Here’s Mo. A three from Quickley and he’s good on the three ball. And he’s not going to miss that sort of an opportunity from deep. Pass to Ro in the first. Just under two and a half minutes played so far. Here is Walter. That’s his first personal battle. First team bound. This is his first free throw of the game. Whoa. Two shots. And he knocks down the first one. And that’s good as he hits both of the shots. And the defense of this Raptors team, Craig, they are built to switch. And it’s no accident with their roster construction. They like having wings that can guard all five positions. Makes defending a much easier prospect. Strong move to the 10. Trying to get his guys going. Hard not to get motivated, G right when your teammate makes that kind of play. And that could be the spark they needed to make a little run as they try to even this thing up. Here’s Walter. Pass to Shamsh. They’ll put back the rebound by Post. Richard quickly covering. Here’s Ro from deep nailed from three-point land. Just sagged off just enough and no hesitation on his part. Now here’s Quickly. He’s guarded closer. Golden State’s gone. One of three from beyond the arc so far in the game. Pass to Rome to the middle. Here’s Santos. Goes back up. Rebound by the Raptors. How about that hard nose D in the paint right there. Nice job. Yeah, he’s got great position and it makes it a really tough shot even from such close range. And how sweet a play was that? As sweet as it gets. An exquisite pass to set up the powerful alleyoop dunk to the inside. This is the baby hook. Toronto leading by four. Pass to Murray Boils. Some nice ball movement here by the Raptors. There’s a screen. Here’s Quickley. The rebound by Post. Not that time, but that’s a shot that he’s going to make more often times than not. Got a hand on it. Here’s Mo. Still scoreless. quickly with it inside. And here’s the second time to finish it off. He gives up a bit of size at the center position, but his leaping ability, well, let’s just say that makes up for it. Hey, who’s Richard quickly covering? Here’s Richard. And again, it’s the Warriors missing. Raptors leading by six. Pass to Mo to the middle. Here’s Murray Boyer. Taking it to the rack with power hammering down the two hand slam. Warriors shooting a pretty distressing 27% here in the early. And so Steve Kerr calls for the timeout. This will give him a chance to discuss some potential alterations. All right, it’s time to get one. Heat. Heat. Let me tell Hey, heat. And the Raptors making a change here. Dicks checked in. Edwards. He’s checked in for Golden State. Ro passes to Edwards. Pass to Ro. Sinks the triple. Rose got six. Just outstanding distribution. This is the kind of team chemistry that you love to see. must be. Here’s Shamshay. It’s deflected. Here’s Ro defending now. The Raptors moving it up. And that’s the kind of play you just do not want to give up defensively. You you lose the possession and give up a quick two at the other end. Outside Edwards. Richard quickly covering and that’ll be two free throws coming up. Officials are on call with the foul team. The Warriors shooting their first free throws of this. Been at the line last season about 78% as a team. Pretty solid numbers. And the first one at the line is good. Break since reaching five consecutive NBA finals. The Warriors have missed the playoffs three of the past five years. And to be fair, they did go 46 and 36 last season. They were 10 games over 500 last year. So, they weren’t a bad team. Look, Golden State doesn’t just expect to be in the playin. They want to be a contender. And so, quickly, we’ll bring it up for the Toronto Raptors, leading by five. Here’s Dick. Can’t hit from in close. And you got to give credit to the D for never giving up on the plate and doing just enough to bother him at the rigo. It’s good. Great recognition of the mismatch. Abusing the smaller defender poor guy. Pass to Walter. Here’s Mov Green. Hammers the alleyoop through. Oh, and the lead gets bigger on a ridiculous offensive sequence. That dunk alone would have been spectacular. Never mind it coming at the end of an alleyoop. Now here’s Green. Pocket six. Pulls it in. Toronto leading by five. And here is Quickly. He has five. Raptors need to get a shot. Here’s Walter. Warriors with the rebound. Green deciding where to go with it. Here’s Richard. And oh boy, a lot of contact there, but he gets the call and will shoot two. And you know what? You allow a guy to get right to the rim like that. That’s your only option. And some stats here, guys, is the scoring breakdown for Toronto. The ball movement has been outstanding so far. They’ve come out of the gate looking for that extra pass. And the other thing I’ve been impressed with, guys, is their assertiveness at attacking the paint, trying to hunt for those high percentage looks. and he knocks down the first one. So, it’s both teams making substitutions here. That one falls. So, he hits both of them. Raptors leading by three. Here’s Walter. Green with the rebound. Golden State’s gone two of five from three-point land here in the first quarter. Come get it. Come get it. A rebound by Battle. The Raptors have gone eight of 15 from the field, shooting above 50% here tonight. Here’s Dick. Drills the elbow jumper and the Raptors lead by five. So much balance when Dick’s in the air. Always able to square his chest and make a confident stroke. Here’s Richard. Misses the jumper. Ronaldo shooting 56% in this first quarter. An outstanding start for this offense. Here’s Walter. It’s stolen by Edwards to the paint. A good finish at the rack off the slick feet. Their post play has been really solid right off the bat. Let’s check in with our reporter David Aldridge. Kevin, the Raptors are rebuilding with purpose. Coach Darko Ryakovich said, “We’re doing a good job in the start of this process, selecting the right people that care and are very committed to each other. That’s a good baseline to build on.” Kevin, slowly the pieces are falling into place. David, you’re so right. He is great at developing those young players. Now, here’s Edwards. Here’s Richard and they’re unable to get the time basket there. Three down low. He can’t get it to go. Great tea that time from Edwards. The Warriors shooting 33% here in the first quarter. It’s rebounded by Dick and and he has definitely been struggling in this quarter. Yeah, he needs to mix things up on the offense. He simply just can’t keep missing shots at this rate because he’s destroying his teammates. Abashi the pass to back over Green. Green with the block. Dick defending to the inside. Here’s Richard. Can’t tie it up as that one misses. And it’s the Raptors ball. It’s a three-point game. It’s stolen by Edwards. It’s intercepted. going inside and that one’s good. Banner in so many different ways Dick gets the balls of his team. He’s always on time and on targets down the three ball pick works well there. Not much resistance from the deep. Yeah, that just comes down to a lack of effort. The defender has to do a better job fighting through the screen. So, at the end of one quarter of play, still a close game. The Raptors out in front. They lead by two. We’ll be back shortly live from Toronto. And this has been a fairly close game through the first quarter. and we’ll see what happens here in the second. And guys, what’s your take on Toronto so far? You got to credit their defense communicating, rotating, making plays on the ball. It’s been a group effort and that’s what it takes to play the kind of defense that they’ve played. Great showing from them. So on the floor for Golden State to begin this second quarter, they’ve got Javon Green. Robinson is out there with Edwards and it’s Santos and at the small forward position. We know the 90s were a different era, Greg. Either win the game or win the fight. Remember that. Do you miss that physicality? Well, I will say Kevin, it made for some great stories. But I don’t think we’re missing much without all the extracurriculars and I think we have a beautiful game now. Good. And the first one drops. Parrot Temple has checked in for the Raptors. He hits both from the strike. Warriors trail by four. as to Edwards. Edwards with the screen to the middle. Knocks it loose and it’s out of bounds. Last touch by Edwards. Martin’s check in for Garrett Temple. Number 55, Alexa Martin. Here’s shed to Aashi. Here’s shed. Abashi. The pass to Dick. Six on the shot clock. Shoots and it’s good. Off the back of the rim and in. And the Raptors lead by six. I know what they say, defense wins championships, but you need some bucket getters, too. Now, pass to Green. Let it go with a three. Trains the three-pointer. And what kind of defense was that? You can’t give up wide open threes like that. What are you doing? Here’s Shed outside for Martin. Fires from deep. It’s all in by Edwards. Warriors trail by three. Some nice passing by Golden Stadium. Here’s Richard. Can’t tie it up as that one’s no good. After shooting with confidence, 50% from the field so far. Here’s Oaji. And again, it’s Toronto converting. These are the shots coach wants them hunting down. Just an easy make as to Edwards. Quarter number two. We’re about 2 minutes in. It’s good. That’s his second basket. He’s shooting two for four. And really, it’s been a major aspect of their offense in the early stages here. Their success working the ball inside and getting points from close range. Here’s shed. Don’t let him shoot that. Here’s Dick. Oh, good with the triple. Well, he’s got a great stroke. That one almost dropped. Pass to Edwards. We’re just over two and a half minutes into the second quarter. To the paint. Here’s Santos. goes back up and he lays it up and in. Santos has got four this quarter. Yeah, coach’s pet peeve there. No box out. Yeah, you think you got to stop and it’s wasted because of sloppy work on the glass. You literally practice that every day. Here’s shed a piece of it outside. Green. Here’s Richard. And it’s good for two. Eight points for him. And in the second quarter, a little under three and 1/2 minutes played already. And the call on the shot that sends him to the line. That’s his first hit. And you never want to foul a jump shooter. Dick certainly qualifies for your record. And some stats here, guys, is the scoring breakdown for the Warriors. They’ve really been dialed in from deep. This is a team that has a ton of confidence in their outside shooting ability. And the other thing I’ve been impressed with, guys, is their assertiveness at attacking the paint, trying to hunt for those high percentage looks. Big go. No good on him. And you look at Grady Dick’s physical gifts and you see it’s all there. Size, length, careful training, and hard work could make him into something special. And he’s good on the second. Warriors have gone four of six from the field here in the second half inside and Edwards with the stuff. And those plays can make a difference in a game like this. Well, you know it’s going to fire up Greg. Everybody on that bench and you can feel the jolt of energy that he sent through his team. That is a huge boost in a tight game like this. Battle misses and it’s the Warriors ball. They’re on an 11 to3 run right now. Pass to Edwards. Bucket six from outside off the mark. And I thought that was going to drop. Looks good from here. Goes up on the wing and off the glass. That one’s good. Warriors have gone five of eight from the four here in the second quarter. Over 60% shooting. Shot on the wing. And there are the Warriors now with another bucket. Toronto trailing. Has the battle. Even from over here, you could see that one pretty clearly. That’s his second have shot a good percentage from the free throw line. So far, they’ve made five out of six. And their free throw percentage as a unit last year, 76% right around the middle of the road. The first free throw is good. And no matter what, one of the big positives they can take away from this game is how well they’ve performed at the line. The Warriors making a switch here. Got to get it. And good on the second. So he makes them both. Warriors have gone six of nine in the second quarter. Some good work from the field. Pass to post. Here’s Rowley over quickly. Second chance shot. It’s called in by Shamsh now quickly. That one’s all good. Now he’s three for five from the field and giving up some inches inside, but makes up for it with an aggressive style. Yeah, you can give up some size, but that shows you how fearless he is. Willing to attack the basket no matter who is in front of him. Here’s Post still without a basket. Close. Shot is good. Uh if you give a shooter of his skill an opening like this, he’s going to take it every time. Faster quickly. Green with the block. Robinson with it. Shot clock at six. Here’s Row. Fires for three. It’s rebounded by Dick. passed too quickly. Here’s Abaji. It’s stolen by Green. And now running it up the court. Green pushing it all the way. Now here is Robinson down low. Five on the clock. Edwards kicks to Green. Fast break. Here come the Raptors. Here’s Quickly. Throws down the breakaway jam. And that’s uptempo basketball at its best. So much easier to operate the open court when a steel triggers the break. Now here is Robinson. Scoreless thus far. Rackers. That’s his first personal battle. First team foul. Substitution down the court. Here’s Richard. Good on the three-point shot. He’s got 13. We’ve seen the lead change hands quite a bit in this one. And guys, I think each team knows they can win this game. Just a no matter who can catch that momentum. Now, here’s Quickly. He’s got nine. Dick wide open and a kind roll that time off the rim. Is that one fall? And whenever Dick is getting a pass, if he has any chance to get off a clean jumper, you know it’s going up. With every passing season, Quickley’s role seems to expand. Yeah. You know, Kevin, he’s had to prove himself over and over. And now that he has, I don’t think you find nearly as many doubters as he had when he first came into the league. Well, if they’re doubling you, then you know someone is open to shoot. It’s a smart move passing it out. And the rebound goes to the Warriors. Post has got his fourth rebound with that last one here tonight. Here’s Richard. Misses for three. Yeah, that’s a shame cuz I’m not sure the defense will let him get a shot that good again very soon. That’ll wake you up. He is such a great athlete. Golden State’s gone an even 50% from three-point range in the second quarter. Four for eight. Edwards with the screen. Shoots. Basket number five goes in. He’s now five of 12 from the floor. Raptors trail by three. Pass to Dick. The rebound by Post. Post has got his fifth rebound in this one. shooting foul as the whistle blows. He’ll shoot two free throws. That’s his second personal foul. The Warriors shooting their fifth and six free throws of the game. at the line for the Warriors. Two two shots. First free throw is good. The Warriors making a switch here. Santos has checked in. No good on the second free throw. Toronto’s gone 02 from deep in the second. Pass to Murray Bole. And here is Quickly. It’s good from long range. quickly has got seven points for the court. And the lack of effort to fight over the screen there makes that an easy shot. Yeah, as soon as these guys feel contact, they are just disappearing like they’re not even there. You got to show some fire and keep defending. And there it is for them. And the Warriors lead by three. And they’ve repeatedly probed inside in the first half, guys. And and it’s paid off. Pass to Mo. Hey, go. Right here. Right here. Now quickly. He’s got 12 to the middle. There’s the steel. Here’s Santos and foul on the shot. So, he’ll get a chance at the line. It’s going to be on Jacobe Walter. Oh, the the officials are all over that one. The Warriors shooting their seventh and eighth free throw attempts for the game right here. Taking two shots. First one falls for Both shots good from the strike. Raptors trail by five. 130 left to play here in the second quarter. Quickly with a wide open look. No good from outside. Golden State’s gotten the three-point shot off. 16 times tonight. Seven times they’ve hit it. Nine times they’ve missed. He has to roll. Two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul. He had a defender all over. The Warriors have been coming through at the Cherry Street. They’ve made seven of their eight attempts. Two shots. That free throw missing. So he comes up empty at the line. Trail by five inside Walter. That one drops for his second bucket. Mark him two for four. Nice feet inside. Saw the play develop and hit him right when he needed to. Pass to Santos. Whoops. They pick off the pass. Here’s Walter and he drops in the layup off the glass now. Just a one-point Warrior lead. And the offense has just operated really smoothly here in the open four. And they need to use that momentum clawing their way back via fast break points. Here’s Post. Here’s Richard. And the three off target. and he continues to cast away, but the results just haven’t been there tonight. There’s 18 seconds left here in the second to Murray Bole. Six to shoot. Here’s Mo. A miss that time would have put him up. And he was able to put it up in time, but it doesn’t fall. And a close game so far through the first two quarters as we reach halftime. Warriors lead by one. It’s time now to go courtside as we send you over to David Aldridge from the sideline. David, take it away. Thanks very much, Steve. Some great engagement defensively. What’s happening that’s good at that end of the floor? I think they’re just playing hard, rotating, playing for each other, and we’ve done a better job of avoiding fouls and just playing through. Steve, thanks for your time. Back to you. All right, Dave, thank you. And time now for the halftime break with the third quarter soon to follow right here on 2K Sports. Heat. Heat. And as we get into this third quarter, as we’ve seen so far, neither team able to create much separation. on the scoreboard yet and so quickly will bring it up for the Raptors. Balls are out there with Emanuel Quickley and it’s Shamshay in at the pivot spot manning the middle. That’s the groove starting the second half for Darko Royakovic. Now here’s Quickley and contact on the shot. So he’ll be shooting free throws here. That’s his first have been coming through at the charity. They’ve made seven of the eight attacks for tied up with that one. miss. And he makes the first, but misses the second. I know he’s kicking himself for not snatching the lead, but look, he tied things up. Pass to post. It’s stolen. Here’s Walter for the lead and he gets the whistle. Two free throws coming out. That’s his second personal battle. These are his third and fourth free throw attempts of the game. At the line for your Raptors taking two shots. And that drops. So they now lead by one. both good from the line that time. The Warriors shooting 43% for the game. Out left to the wing. Pass to post. Here’s Row. launches a three. That’s another one for him. His fifth in just seven shots. Seven lead changes now and we’re just in the third quarter. Yeah, frustrating for a coach, but it’s great to watch as a fan. Now here’s Quickly. Here’s Mo back to Quickley. Just five to shoot. up and in on the layup. Quickley’s got 14 points. Important points there. Got him on a nice play. Getting the ball inside and right to the bucket. Pass to post. Taken away. It’s tipped. Here’s Santos. He’s got eight. And it’s in. Basket number six for him thus far. He has only missed two shots from the floor. And no matter what they’ve tried, the D just has not been able to deny them the ball inside. Here’s Walter to the inside. Here’s Murray Bole. And the Raptors take on two more. Man, you’re not going to pass up that kind of move. The Warriors trailing. Richard quickly covering pass to Rome to the paint and he goes up strong with one hand and flushes it down as we approach the fourth quarter. Still anyone’s ball game. Yeah, neither team able to create much of a cushion. Here’s Walter. Here’s Murray Boy. Here’s Walter. He’s got 10 and it’s in there. Walters’s got four points now in the quarter. Three minutes gone now in the third quarter. Warriors have gone three of three from the field since halftime. Here’s Row. 16 points for him. Offensive rebound or the three. Head shot off. It’s a close game here in Toronto. Here’s Walter. Pass to Momo. Now here’s Quickly. And it’s quickly missing. Here’s Santos. 10 points for him. Here’s Post. The good looking shot from the wing. Post has got his second bucket. You know, maybe save that fadeaway move for when he really needs it. Pass to Walter. Here’s Marie Boy. Here’s Shamshay. He’s got nine. And how about the incredible timing on that alley? He absolutely hammered it down. Golden State’s gone one and two from beyond the arc since coming out of the break. Here’s Row. Richard quickly covering. Shot clock at five. Pass to Ro. Unloads. It’s hauled in by Shamsh. Shamsh has got rebound number five here tonight. Here’s Quickley. Scores the bucket. He’s seven for 11 and continues to look good. and he’s really made the most of his opportunities today. I mean, he needs to keep working for those kinds of looks. Inside the post, misses the shot. Toronto leading by three. Here’s Mo. Hasn’t made one yet. Here’s Murray Bole. And Santos pulls it down. Pass to Rome. Here’s Post. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. Shooting for Golden State. Pulse at the line for two. The first one falls. That one is no good. Members with the lead. Golden State. That’s his second personal. Third team down. The Raptors have been getting it done at the line. 10 for 12. Two shots. And free throw good from Walter. rebound. Got to get it. Big He hits one and misses one each at the line. Warriors trail by three. It’s deflected. Now, here’s Quickley. He’s got 16. Here’s Mo. Lays it up and in off the pretty assist. And let’s get your take, guys, in the hustle stats for the Raptors. All you have to do is look at one stat, and that is their block numbers. It tells you how tight their D has been. They’ve been going out of their way to smother the defense. And also, guys, they’ve pushed the ball and been able to score in transition. trying to take advantage of playing in the open floor as often as possible. Now here’s quickly pass to Murray Bole fades and shoots. He can’t get that one to fall. Warriors have gone a somewhat so far. Four of 10 on their shots in the second half so far. Oh, an aggressive move and fantastic finish. Trying to send a message with that slam. I think here’s Walter. The Warriors making the shot and foul on the shot. He’ll shoot two at the free throw line. That’s his second personal foul. 14 at the line for two. rebound. Let’s get it. That free throw no good. and he sinks the second. Warriors trail by four. Pass to Rome. There’s the pick down low and he jams it after taking the nice feet on the run. Oh, just solid on the one-handed slam. And guys, when it’s a tight ball game like this, he’s the guy they want with the ball. Here’s shed to the inside. And they immediately answer back with the dunk at the other end. Fundamentals, guys, using the one hand slam. Well, he makes the basics look pretty exceptional. Tied Edward. And a lot of contact on that one. So he’ll shoot two here. No question he got bumped on that shot. The Warriors have had 12 attempts at the line. Make eight so far. Two taking two shots. And he makes the first. And the Raptors making a change here. AI’s checked in. And so he hits both. The Raptors have gone seven of 11. A lucky field goal percentage here in the third. Here’s Shed three-pointer. And that one’s good. AI’s got five. And the lack of effort to fight over the screen there makes that an easy shot. Yeah, as soon as these guys feel contact, they are just disappearing like they’re not even there. You got to show some fire and keep defending. Now here’s Green. Edwards with the screen. Down to five on the shot clock. Count it two. He’s got eight. Raptors leading by three. Here’s Shed. Here’s Dick. Great D that time from Green. That is some tough defense there against one of the better finishers in our game. Here’s row. Golden State moving it around. There’s the pick. Golden State needs to get off a shot. It’s rebounded by Dick. Toronto has gone three to seven tonight from three-point territory. Here’s Shed. Down it goes. Jamming that one home. Oh, he just punches that one down with a fury. Rubs it in a little deeper with the hanging finish. Pass to Ro to the middle. Wants to get it to Edwards and does. Basket is good. He’ll get a chance for one more at the line. Defensive. I just love when teams make it work down low. That’s his first personal foul. The Warriors have made 10 of their 14 tries at the free throw line of the game. And the Warriors making a change here. Richards has checked in. They throw good. Edwards Raptors with the lead. Here’s shed inside. Here’s Battle. Great T that time from Eden. Even though it wasn’t a clear path, he knows that that’s a shot he should make more often times than not. Richard Dick defending. Here’s Richard drills the three-pointer. 18 points for him as we approach the fourth quarter. Still anyone’s ball game. Yeah, neither team able to create much of a cushion. Here’s Battle and he banks in the lane and the Raptors lead by one. And so Green will bring it up for the Golden State Warriors. Pass to Edwards. Puts up a three. Poke loose. Ronaldo shooting 55% from the fourth. They’re feeling very confident offensively. Walter Willing. When he gets a quality look like this at the perimeter, he can almost be automatic. Green kicks to Richard. Out to Edwards. And they come right back with their own three-pointer. Three. Edwards got 13. For real. Come at us and we’re coming right back at you. Yeah, I love the competitive fire right there. You drain a triple on us and I’m coming for my revenge. Here’s Walter and he finishes nicely on the layup. Great job of screening there. Nice job to take it to the rim and get the finish. Tries the spin move. Pick up. Pick up. Here’s Richard. Another three for Golden State. Here’s shed. Pass to battle. Great team that time from Edwards. And we wrap up the third and proven to be an exciting fourth quarter. We’ll be back shortly live from Toronto. And a quick look now at the State Farm assist of the game. Just true artistry right there. I mean, great decision on where to go with the ball. And how about the perfect delivery? A lot of times a spectacular pass is more impressive than a spectacular shot. This is one of those times. And it’s been a very competitive game so far as we get rolling here in quarter number four. Setting the floor for the Warriors. They’ve got Robinson. Edwards is out there with Green and it’s Row in at the shooting guard position. Richard Lawson defending. Chopped up two there. 23 points in the game and you want him taking big shots for you in big moments. That one was as easy as it gets. Yeah, it’s clear why they go to him in these moments. They know he’s going to deliver for him. Here’s Shed. Here’s Battle. That’s short off the rim. The Warriors leading on the wing. Green Lawson defending. Outside Robinson just five on the clock. Over in the corner, Edwards over Lawson and the Warriors take on two more. We’re just over a minute into this final quarter of play. Here’s Shed. Pass to Battle over Edwards. Battle misses. Got to find easier shots when you’re already struggling. That’s not going to get it. Green. The pass to Ro. Back to Green for three. It’s hauled in by the Raptors. Dicks got his fifth rebound right now in the game. paddle passes to AI. Good. Yeah, nothing too fancy. Just getting the job done when they need to make every possession count. And we’re about 2 minutes into the fourth quarter now. It’s rebounded by Lawson. The Raptors have gone one of three from the field to start the fourth quarter. Down low, free with the block. Warriors have gone two of four from the field since we started the final quarter of play. Here’s Ro defending and out of bounds as the Raptors gain possession. Garrett Temple has checked in for Toronto. Number 17, Garrett Temple. We’re in the fourth quarter here. Just under two and a half minutes gone. Here’s shed pass to Dick. Here’s Abashi guarded by Robinson. Six on the shot clock. Temple that is in there. Washington with the assist. Temple’s got his first three points of the game. Went right down to the wire here to steal anyone’s ball game. Yeah. And after all the energy both sides have expended, both teams still hungry for an easy two points on the lane. He’s got 25. If the defense lets him inside, he will not hesitate. He’ll gladly drop that thing right in the cup. Pass to Dick and again Toronto with the triple. And that is why this team has Brady Dick, a floor spacer coming into the league with an elite three-point shot. And we’ve got a timeout called by Steve Kerr. Clearly, he’s got something his players need to hear. And immediately attended band 44 squad get time for Jesus. Make some noise everyone. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. And Toronto making a change here. Rickley’s jacked in and the Warriors making a change here. And now the latest from our reporter David Aldridge. Thanks Kevin. Well, Steve Kerr talked to his team during the break. Coach wants them to do a better job defending the perimeter. He said we’re late on our rotations and they’re getting great looks because of it. We got to fight through it. We got to take away the three. We’re good, guys. Thank you, David. Well, if you’re just tuning in, welcome. We’ve got about three and a half minutes gone here in the fourth quarter. Green kicks to Richard. Shot clock at six. Here’s the three. Buries it from three-point range. And he has 28 points for the game. A pretty free look from three-point range. The D forgot about it on that position. Big three right there, especially at this point in the game. Now, here’s Quickly. Whoops. Anticipated the pass. Turnover. And it’s Toronto with the rebound on the wing. Quickly off the mark there with the three-point shot. The Warriors have gone 47 from the field since the beginning of the fourth. to the paint. Here’s Post. Terrific assist. A nice finish. Solid play all around. And finding his teammate and stride. He led his guy perfectly. Pass to Dick to the inside quickly and he slips that one and all the attention goes to Nick’s jump shot but he’s a willing passer as well quickly against Green. Here’s Richard diving in. Abaji pulls it in. Toronto’s gone six of 11 when they’re taking the three-point shot tonight. Very respectable. And two free throws coming up. Unable to get that one to go with all the content. Wow. Wow. He got whacked on that one. Shouldn’t be much debate there. Hey guys, let’s get your take on the scoring breakdown for the Warriors. The name of the game in the modern NBA is making threes, spacing the court, and that’s exactly what they are doing tonight. And another thing, the defense didn’t clog the lanes. They took full advantage with their ability to attack the paint on a lot of those possessions. And the first one at the line is good. Got to get it. Let’s get it. Get it. Get it here. Second free throw. No good. I know he’s kicking himself for not snatching a lead, but look, he tied things up. Toronto’s gone two and three in the fourth quarter from long range. Good shooting so far. Marvelous Le and he throws it down. Rate of baskets assisted. It’s a stat I really like. It tells the story of how well you are playing team offense. Here’s Santos driving to the basket. Pass to post. Whistle blows. Bucket is good and he’ll have a chance at the line to make it a three-point play. These are exactly the kind of shots they want to generate each and every time down the floor. Shooting for Golden State at the line for Here’s Walter. Pass to Mo to the paint. Here’s quickly and it’s blocked. Here’s Ro. And it’s off from three-point range. Raptors have gone five and 10. 50% from the field. Here’s Shamshay. Pass to Walter. Stolen. Now the Warriors moving it up. Here’s Richard and finishes it off with a one-handed jam. And this is what you love about the game. Superb defense, great steal, and just like that, they add two points to this narrow lead. Here’s Walter down low and he says right back at you with a big dunk of his own. Oh, just a beautiful textbook bounce pass. You love to see it. Golden State’s gotten just one of four three-pointers to go down for them here in the four inside. Rebound by the Raptors. Pass to Murray Boils. Good ball movement here by the Raptors. Now Quickley. Here’s Walter. Five to shoot. Quickly with it. A three ball. And Santos pulls it down. Santos has got his fifth rebound right now in the game. Pass to Rome out to the right wing beyond the arc. Santos no good. And you could tell he thought that triple was going to fall. Here’s Mo to the middle. Here’s Marie Boy. Time running low, guys. And somebody has got to win this one. Yeah. Well, who knows? We might be overtime in this one. It’s been that kind of a game. Here’s Ro and the call on the shot sends him to the line. That’s his second personal second at the line for the Warriors. Throw two shots. First free throw is good. Good on both. Toronto. They’ve gone seven of 13 from the field here in the fourth. on the wing quickly. Pocket six to the inside. Here’s Momo shooting foul as the whistle blows. He’ll shoot two free throws. I tell you what, he earned his money on that foul. at the line for your Raptors. Taking two shots. No good on the free throw. on the miss. Good on the second free throw. Golden State’s gone into a funk from downtown in the fourth. Only one of their five three-pointers has found the bottom of the bucket. Here’s Ro. And again, it’s the Warriors missing. Down low, Murray BS. He may not have that traditional power forward build, but his bounce, well, that kind of levels the playing field. Pass to post. inside. They set up the screen. Bullseye. 32 points in the game. Pick works well there. Not much resistance from the deep. Yeah, that just comes down to a lack of effort. The defender has to do a better job fighting through the screen. Here’s Shamshay with the drive and denied. and he sends it right off the glass. Here’s Ro. Mo with the rebound. The Raptors have got a pretty good rhythm going offensively. Shooting eight of 15 for the quarterback on the wing quickly. Here’s the floater. The shot no good. Whatever rhythm he had last quarter, it has left his body. He is having a hard time finding buckets. High arcing shot. It’s hauled in by the Raptors for three and the three ball is good. Quick play by 21. The defenders need to recognize the importance of staying on him as we get into court to the right side. shoots it. It’s hauled in by the Raptors. Murray Boils has got rebound number 10 with that last one. And that one’s good. Quickly now it’s a fivepoint Raptor lead. Golden State’s gone into a fun from downtown in the fourth. only one of their five three-pointers has found the bottom of the bucket. Looking to get back on track here. It’s in. What a beautiful shot to bring him to within three. How about how he sets his man up there, runs him right into the screen and then gets the quick look. No good that time. Here’s Richard. Oh wow. A huge basket to tie the game. Oh, you just love seeing a player with absolutely no fear. He knew what they needed here and was determined to deliver. And the timeout called by Darko Royakovic. The magnitude at this juncture in the game clearly warranting a timeout. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. We’ve got 33 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Here’s Quickly. It drops. Oh, that’s some fancy ball handling right there since he take guys off the rip. And so Steve Kerr calls for the timeout and he knows there’s no room for mistakes and wants everyone on the same page in terms of strategy here. Any thoughts? Big chance here to tie it with a bucket. And you also have to wonder if they’ll try for a three, but they’ll probably try for a two, but if something opens up outside, I doubt that they will hesitate to take it. Heat. Hey. Hey. We’ve got 28 seconds left in the game. It don’t get any better than that inbounds play exactly the way they drew it up. And the timeout called by Tarcoyakovic. This is a huge moment, folks, in this game. And he wants to be prepared. Yeah. Just one second between the shot clock and game clock. And there’s the drive. Count it. And so Steve Gerr calls for the timeout. Coach clearly feeling the necessity to regroup with so much at stake here. What do you think we’re going to see here? Big chance here to tie it with a bucket. And you also have to wonder if they’ll try for a three, but they’ll probably try for a two, but if somebody opens up outside, I doubt that they will hesitate to take it. Here’s Richard. Can’t knock in the three. And now the foul possession. Ends with a big one by Toronto.
