  1. Biggest thing was only 2 turnovers. That number and his defensive performance will be the two factors that dictate playing time at the next level.

  2. He's going to be a starter but he's still about 2 year away because he's still to frail to defend. BUT he will end up being the Wolves starting PG.

  3. lol the short kid who cant play defense scored 23 points while taking 20 shots… lol… 20 shots?!?! lol… thats insanely inefficient lol

  4. 66 shots for 69 points and 1.5 assist to turnover ratio in summer league. Those are the knocks from him since being drafted (last summer league, his minutes last season). He can make highlights, but he's not getting to the rim or finishing there which really hurts. So it's a lot of inefficient scoring. Then the turnover rate is just not good at all even for summer league and with it being sky high last season that really needs to change and we just aren't seeing it.

Love his shooting touch (honestly his mid range shooting is fine, it's just… midrange shooting, the shots you don't want to have making up most of your game). Love his athleticism and quickness. Really liking his defensive engagement in summer league which is a nice surprise. Great handles. You can see the skill. 4th quarter looked really good a couple games ago and this however was his best game.

But a high turnover rate PG with inefficient scoring… The Wolves can't play with a PG rating out in the bottom 10% of the league like where he was last year, even if he makes the highlight plays now and then.

  5. he's still too anxious and drives into doubles and triples….just like ANT did his first year or so.
he looks 'unplanned" in his decisions – they look frantic at times.

i'd like to see a bit more caution before attack and a bit more planning (setting up the defender with a pass in mind) before diving into danger.

he's improved, though. give him 15-20 minutes to start the season.
