This is FANTASTIC NEWS!
For all the people that say WMBB is going to be a Laker in a few years, Wby says otherwise. What is up, San Antonio Spurs fans? Welcome to TSR Sports. Shout out to Phil for sharing the news about Wemby’s recent interview with uh was it Li? I don’t remember what the name is, but let’s get into this article on Clutch Points talking about Wemby’s plans for the future. I think this is great news. I think it’s fantastic news. Victor Webeyama spoke on his dream to follow in the footsteps of players like Kobe Bryant and the Spurs own franchise legend Tim Duncan by staying with one team for his whole career. Let’s not forget the gentleman behind me, David Robinson, also up in the corner. You can’t see him, man. So, yeah, we’ve had some Spurs be Spurs for life. And wants to join the club. Quote, “I know that not every wh that up just a little bit. I know not not every player in the NBA has the same ambitions, but it’s obviously my dream to spend my entire career with a single franchise here in San Antonio, said WBY per Maxim Aubin of Laquip on Twitter because I refuse to call it the other thing. How far can the Spurs go? They talk about the Spurs future. Currently, our Spurs have a bit of a log jam on the roster at the guard position. Stefon Castle, Darren Fox, Dylan Harper, let’s not forget Demel. And having too much talent is usually a good problem to have, but it will be interesting to see how the Spurs look to navigate that challenge, especially as it pertains to surrounding WMY with lineups specifically orchestrated to maximize his unique skill set. It’s actually going to be a lot of fun seeing what the teams do. Probably frustrating as well on what the team does. We almost assuredly would have won last year’s defensive player of the year award had he not been siloed and should have won the year before. I’m going to take that to my grave. Rudy Gobear, you were not the defensive player of the year. your team was fantastic defensively. I digress. If We Wy, and I think he can, stay healthy this year, the Spurs could be serious threats to end their current playoff drought and put themselves back on the map in the vaunted Western Conference. Okay, we got a couple things we want to talk about here, but first off, this unicorn, this alien we have. I watched all his highlights and you know what, I missed this. So, I’m going to share some of my favorite moments. These are all from his rookie year, I believe, with you guys. Just a little clip here. Just remembering how devastating is on the alleyoop and then the moves that he has for a player his size. Amazing. Let’s not forget this on the break. Little bit of a euro step. Little mono there. And then this the nutmeg. And one more time. We of course with his height absolutely devastating around the rim. You can’t stop him. You can only hope to contain him. the irresistible force and the immovable object. Okay, what I just showed there is a small portion of mem can do. He can shoot three-pointers, block shots, pass the ball, and more. Spurs fans, we are so lucky we got him with the first overall pick. Maybe even spoiled as that was followed up by pick four last year, which became reigning rookie of the year, Stefon Castle, and then picks two and 14 this year, which became Dylan Harpin. Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant, respectively. I am so excited for the future of the Spurs. Excited for our core. Hopefully, they’re all Spurs for life. We’ll see. I actually have a video coming up soon about the Spurs core and the future and what it looks like. But I want to talk about to this day because this was kind of breaking news to me seeing that he said that. I that’s great. You don’t see that in today’s NBA much. You do see some of the the ring chasing culture where it’s just players jumping from team to team. What team can I jump to to win now? And I don’t I truly do see judging by, you know, seeing him in his Tim Duncan jersey when he’s younger, his reaction to one of the Spurs the lottery, I think he wants to be here for life. Now, the only thing that could derail that situation, Spurs fans, is if the Spurs totally blow it and they’re not even a playoff team this season, next season, and just stuck stuck in, you play in or lottery hell, which would be incredible that the Spurs cannot get out of that with a player of this caliber. That means he just totally have dropped the ball. I don’t absolutely do not see that happening. First off, one, he’s just too damn good to have this franchise just be mid for the rest of his career. So, there’s that. And then the players they’re putting around him. I think Castle can be an all-star. Will he be a five-time all-star, 10 time all-star remains to be seen, but seeing the work he’s putting in has me excited for what he’s going to bring next season and the following seasons. I still think Jeremy So, go ahead and put your comment below. I think he’s going to be part of our core and I can’t wait to see what the potential is of Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant. Sure, Harper struggled in summer league a bit. That’s going to happen. He showed some defensive pizzazz I didn’t know he had and came up in the clutch and hit a big bucket in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime versus the Jazz. And then Carter, did I say Harper Harper did that? Hope I got my names completed. And then Bryant, he’s been struggling offensively his stroke has looked good at times. Shooting stroke, but defensively he seems like he could be a monster. So defensively, we got that. Offense will come around eventually hopefully. And I just I said it before, I say it again, and I probably already said it in this video, and I’m sorry if I’m double tracking here, but or backtracking. I’m just pumped up. It is a good time to be a Spurs fan. And seeing news like this just makes me feel really good about the future. Spurs fans, what do you think about this? Do you see news like this and you’re like, and yes, I’m paraphrasing, I want to be a Spurer for life, but that’s essentially what he said. When you see news like this, are you excited? Are you like, “Yes, I want to hear my young players say that.” Or are you more of the glass is half empty type and they’re like, “Whatever, he’s saying it now. He is three years, four years, 5 years, whatever.” He, you know, he won’t stay true to that. I think he will. I think he wants to stay here. I think he wants here. I’m in Connecticut, but stay in San Antonio. And I want to share this with you guys. And uh that’s all I got. Comment, like, subscribe if you want to join our Spurs community. 30,000 is far away, but not too far away. I think the live streams are going to push the channel to the next, you know, send us over the hump, over the edge, if you will, in the fall. But until then, we’ll be doing videos throughout the summer. And when when I see stuff like this, I definitely want to share it with you and more importantly, get your thoughts on it. Thank you all and as always, go first go. Lions day.
Victory Wembanyama recently said ““I know that not every player in the NBA has the same ambitions, but it’s obviously my dream to spend my entire career with a single franchise. Here. In San Antonio.”

You pumped up to hear Wemby say things like this? I am! Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!

Wemby mother's family is in french aristocracy since 12th century : he knows what "belonging" means. It can be difficult to understand in a league where players often come from the ghetto and chase money for their relatives before anything else : Wemby knows he will win a lot of money wherever he plays so it won't be his priority. He sure wants glory but not the kind of glory you can find being as a mercenary. American people know the "semper fi" mindset. Wemby won't be a Marine but he will be a Spur. This is his second family, not a simple job.
Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes
GSG x 3000 !
Duncan set a good example for future Spurs
L'equipe is pronounced Lay-Kip, more or less. Really excited to hear this news. I had wondered if he might feel a little different without Pop coaching.
Carter is going to be Bruce 2.0
Here come the Men In Black (Men in black)
Vic the spurs defenders (oh, ooh)
👽🛸
CIP Pop's pride brought the fans G-League Mitch as HC. When he fails his first year, then Wemby better speak up or he should walk.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What is he supposed to say rich ? That he doesn’t know ? lol😂
This is gonna be a great era for spurs basketball, wouldn’t be surprised if it surpasses the Duncan era
Spurs need to do the money/contracts right…. Wemby! then…. Love that French dude (Rizz) just as much as Timmy (🐐), hoping Fox realizes less is more 🙏
I think 2 things.
1. Kawhi said he wanted to be a Spur for life when asked. Its just kinda the thing you say, and its not a good question to ask someone because if they answer the question its a news story. If they say yes then its Wemby wants to be a Spur for life! If he says no, then its "Wemby wants out!"
2. Wemby wanting to be a Spur for life is not surprising at all. The picture of him in a Parker jersey and our ties and presence in France, and our how our culture fits with his, its the absolute perfect match. Compare this to Kawhi who had no real ties to San Antonio and apparently scouts even said "He may leave to go to California" in their assessment of him.
…we could kinda say Tony Parker also was a spur all his career…his last season he just wanted to play for Michael Jordan…but by that time his career was already over…and he retired after that season…let's just say he did…
👍👍👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi sir Eversince im a loyal fans of San Antonio SPURS,2gehter with the Coach Sir Popovich my favorite😂 idol coach..His a Legend👍👍👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤
Hope Sir they will hire jonesGarcia &minix instead of fox….
LITERALLY "for LIFE" (mine): If Wemby stays a Spur, and stays healthy for a reasonably long career, he'll likely be an active Spur the rest of my life (I'm old). I can live with that. ☺ Spurs fan for 28 years and counting. GSG !
Doubtful. Money talks. Any team will outbid the Spurs for Wembanyama and he'll go. Moreover, unless the Spurs immediately return to the 30-year winning period of Robinson and Duncan, the continued losing era that Wembanyama is a major part of will wear on him and he will eventually want out.
Did you all remember LeBron James said he wanted to be a Cavalier for life? Look what happened.
