All right, coach. First half good. You went up at halftime, but then the third quarter, what was the difference there? Uh, yeah, I mean, it it was the turnovers, you know, we knew that’s what they do and they’re really, really good at it. Um, so that pressure obviously bothered us in that third quarter. Uh, we didn’t shoot it quite as well as we did in the first half. Um, so that was it. I mean, we knew that’s what they did and they do it better than anyone out here in Las Vegas. So, uh, I thought we handled it really well for three and a half quarters, but it kind of got away from us in that second half there. How would you describe the fight in the fourth? Um, literally or figuratively? Figuratively. Uh, really proud of the guys. Again, that’s what I told them. It’s there’s no consolation to to losing and losing three games, but uh both of these last two games, those guys could have easily let go of the rope. You know, we could have gotten blown out, but for them to keep playing like that, you know, really proud of them. On that note, the chippiness in this game, what do you think that was a product of? Yeah, I mean, just a really physical two physical teams. Um, we again that’s that’s what they do and it’s it works really well for them. They’re very good at it. Um, and you got guys playing out playing for their lives, playing for their careers. So, um, I liked how we responded. Guys had each other’s backs and, uh, we kept playing through it. You talk about guys having each other’s backs. Do you think this team has gotten more cohesive defensively? I mean, you have EJ finishing with four blocks, for example. Yeah, I think so. Uh, EJ and Don in that front line has been pretty good for us. Um, they can they can both switch. They can both uh, protect the rim a little bit. So, uh, definitely has been a point of emphasis is the communication, the physicality. Um, so I definitely think it’s getting better, uh, game to game. And then just generally, what did you see from Curtis tonight? Oh, what what we all know he could do. You know, I was wish I would have been shocked if we didn’t have at least one game like that from Curtis. That’s that’s what he can do. He can put the ball in the hoop and uh, every time he goes in, I try and tell him, “Hey, anytime you can get the three off, let it go.” So, that’s what he does. And it was good to see him uh to make a couple tonight. What do you uh think of tomorrow Bates’s week so far here? Yeah, tomorrow’s been great. I mean, we’ve talked a lot about his energy. Really sets the tone for us um emotionally and uh really talented with the ball. Um he’s definitely he’s still adjusting to the rhyth rhythm and everything uh the physicality, but uh really talented scorer and uh when he can wants to get to a spot, he can get get there and can make it over anyone. So excited to see him keep playing these next two games. How would you describe the toughness and the competitiveness of EJ? Uh he he’s a pro. He’s a pro. We got a lot of professional basketball players on this team that have been through a lot. Not just, you know, coming out of college. They’ve been through the G- League, been through the NBA. EJ’s been a through a lot in his career. So, um just I mean, he set the tone in the first half of his physicality. Um and that that helped us a lot. And uh yeah.
