Knicks FINAL Spot? Marcus Smart & McCullar Updates πŸ‘€ #shorts

The Knicks have two roster spots left and a former DOI could be on the way. Veteran guard Marcus Smart is a strong buyout candidate in Washington and if he becomes available, do not be surprised if the Knicks are one of the first teams to call. Meanwhile, Kevin McCuller Jr. is reportedly on track to make the 14-man roster on a rookie minimum deal per CT of Nicks Buzz. That would leave just one spot open. And with summer league tipping off this week, names like James Naji, Dinkpaid, and potentially Muhammad Diawara are all fighting to earn two-way deals or possibly more. Although, according to James Edwards III of the Athletic, Mohammad Diawara is likely to go back to France next season. The final decisions are coming, but who do you want the Knicks to get with the last roster spot? Is it Marcus Smart or someone else? Drop your pick in the comments and hit that follow for all the latest Nicks updates.

  1. Should the Knicks pursue Marcus Smart IF he’s bought out by Washington? πŸ‘€

  2. KNYT we want dink pate no cap a 6ft8 guy who can play pg to sf with high athleticism is what we need on this roster

  3. I'm really hoping Dink Pate has a great showing in Vegas & makes team. He's an electric player with so much potential.

  4. Marcus Smart is a better true point guard than Brunson… I mean he passes the ball instead of dribbling for 23 seconds πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

  5. Baba looks better than Diawara, Nnaji and Pate… but apparently they will ignore him as they did with Jokubaitis and Skapintsev last year.
Actually, it seems that no matter how well certain players perform, the Knicks simply seem to have their names picked before Summer League even begins.

  6. I say Hell Yesssssss get Marcus. Experience and super toughness. He and Josh Hart will be Dogs out there. No backdown in Marcus. No worries about him on defensive end. Would be great addition for many reasons.
